Ed Sheeran Drops Another Bop ‘Cross Me’ Ft. Chance The Rapper

Ed Sheeran kicked off his new era with “I Don’t Care” which became an instant hit. It debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100 and broke the Spotify record for most streams in a single day. The 28-year-old English singer just shared another taste off his forthcoming LP.

While “I Don’t Care” featured some high-wattage star power in the form of Justin Bieber, I sorta like his new offering more. Produced by Fred Again, “Cross Me” finds Sheeran teaming up with Chance The Rapper and PnB. It’s all about standing by your love. “Just know, if you cross her, then you cross me,” they sing on the slick track.

Both “I Don’t Care” and “Cross Me” will appear on Sheeran’s fourth studio album titled No. 6 Collaborations Project. Gotta say, I’m surprised Ed didn’t go with the title – (subtract), given his previous three LPs were named after mathematical signs + (plus), x (multiply) and ÷ (divide).

Check out “Cross Me” below. Looks like Sheeran has another early contender for Song of the Summer honors in his hands.
