Twitter Reveals 2017 Song Of Summer And It’s Not ‘Despacito’

When Billboard announces next week the Summer Song of 2017, without a doubt, the crown will go to “Despacito.” The Luis Fonsi, Daddy Yankee and Justin Bieber collaboration has spent a record-tying 16 weeks (so far) on the Billboard Hot 100. No other track even comes close. However, according to Twitter, “Despacito,” only ranks third on their list based on tweets.

Down” from Fifth Harmony, may not have reached the same heights as last year’s offering, “Work From Home,” but it snagged the number one spot for most-tweeted about song this summer. Interestingly, former bandmate Camila Cabello lands in the runner-up slot with “Crying In The Club.” More bragging rights for the now quartet.
