Just when I thought I was done writing about “Harlem Shake” videos, I found one more that I couldn’t resist sharing with you. I’m hoping you have heard of him, but if you haven’t, Lohanthony is a gay teenage YouTuber that became famous with his sassy commentaries and uninhibited dancing. Most memorable to me is his short viral video where he twirls his leg around and says, “Calling all the basic bitches! Calling all the basic bitches! There’s a new announcement… ‘You’re amazing.'”
In this new video, Lohanthony combines his twerking (which the Urban Dictionary describes as: “to work one’s body, as in dancing, especially the rear end“) with the talent of some fierce Broadway dancers to create one entertaining Harlem Shake video. They actually do pretty much the whole song and keep it interesting the whole way. Lohanthony starts off video by pointing to the dancers and saying, “Those bitches… are basic!”
Check out the video below. I’ve also included the “Basic Bitches” viral video to familiarize yourself with this hilarious YouTube character.
Jenna Marbles is at it again. This time by viewer request, the YouTube star who gets millions of views on her hilarious videos, is addressing “Sluts On Halloween”. Now you might think she’s going to be hating all on the girls who dress as slutty animals, angels, nurses – just anything slutty… but quite to the contrary.
As Jenna explains, Halloween is the one time a year people can dress however they want. As Lindsay Lohan‘s character put it on the hit movie, Mean Girls, “Halloween is the one time a year when a girl can dress like a total slut and no one can say anything about it.” For that matter, the same goes for gays. Right?
Jenna makes the assumptions that the people who wanted her to talk about sluts on Halloween are not the girls who dress up as sluts on Halloween and they are the haters. “You my sweet angel face are being a f*cking hater…Why? Why dude? Why are you so angry at her for being a sexy giraffe?” LOL. Enjoy the video below.
He might not have a million views yet, so not a “sensation” yet, but I can’t get enough of singer/songwriter Eli Lieb. I first discovered him after going to a GREAT Robyn concert a couple months ago. I was singing her songs for days. Totally obsessed. So, I started searching for covers on YouTube and stumbled across Mr. Lieb. Hello!
His cover of Robyn’s ‘Hang With Me’ was one of the best I’ve heard. It didn’t hurt that he’s cute as hell and stares right through the camera with beautiful flirty eyes. Sigh. Since I first discovered it, I’ve posted it on Facebook (a few times!) and have even been known to break it out on my iPhone at parties for others to enjoy. He definitely deserves the attention.
Check out Hang With Me. I dare you to disagree.
