I always thought to myself, what is missing on my Christmas song playlist?
A filthy rap by three drag queens! WELL LOOKIE HERE! DWV are back with their 5th song and 1st original just in time for the holidays. Now the song came out I’m gonna about 7-10 days ago on itunes but the girls were on the drag race cruise so we didn’t get much info about it. And today they released the video for “That Christmas Song.”
Drag queen in reindeer outfits, stripped, twerking…sounds good to me!
My personal favorite line I wanna drink you babies and nibble your ass/like I’m at midnight mass/and you is the communion.
That’s fine. MARY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!
Are you in need of a RuPaul’s Drag Race fix until Season 6 premieres? Look no further. A few of your favorite alums from the reality show strutted their stuff for Marco Marco during LA Fashion Week. His designs have been worn by the likes of Nicki Minaj, Fergie and Selena Gomez to name a few.
The show was so fierce Adam Lambert and Lindsay Lohan attended the extravaganza. Alyssa Edwards, Shangela, Yara Sofia, Carmen Carerra, Raja, Manila Luzon, Willam and Detox brought the designer’s latest collection to life. For your added enjoyment, a few shirtless male models were thrown in the mix. Check it out below.
A missed market has been filled with the new and fabulous Dragbook where finally all of the queens and fans of the queens can get together on one social media platform!
In the style of Facebook (some website you might have heard of), an easy to create online profile gives you access to the newly started community base for drag queens, for fans of drag queens, and people playing looky loo from the corner. Whether you’re at Micky’s every week, are Willam’s number 1 fanclub moderator, know every Li’l Kim lyric (WAIT, SHE’S STILL A WOMAN?!), or have watched Drag Race once and wanna’ know the scoop on the scene, Dragbook is looking like the new place to come.
They are BACK!
Detox, Willam & Vicky the super popular super talented drag queen girl group (that’s a mouthful) are back and just in time! Coming off their 3rd parody “Silicone” (a parody of Robyn’s Dancing on my Own) the trio decide to take on the summer’s biggest hit… with a twist!
No doubt this year one of the biggest headline stealers was Amanda Bynes, and they mashed up her story with the biggest song of the year. Naturally it’s hysterical. I LOVE these three they really are super funny and incredibly talented. Check out “BLURRED BYNES” below!
If anyone is qualified to give bottoming tips, it’s Willam Belli. Doesn’t the RuPaul’s Drag Race alum just scream power bottom? I’m sure she’s had her hole on several poles ;)
In a video to promote their upcoming porn title, Next Door Buddies teams up with Willam to show their stable of boys the ins and outs of bottoming. The clip starts out with Belli singing about the joys of the sexual act and then it segues into a classroom setting. If you want to bypass the music video portion, go directly to the 2:25 mark. Watch Jaxon Colt, Brandon Bronco, Cole Christiansen, Slate Steele, Dante Martin & Austin Storm “take in” all of Willam’s wisdom. If you want to see the full uncensored version, it’ll be live on September 12 on their website.
To tell the “trooooooooth” (in Cher’s voice), I’m surprised this didn’t happen sooner. It’s a match made in heaven.
LOGO enlisted some of the more popular alums of RuPaul’s Drag Race to film a music video for Cher’s latest dance hit “Woman’s World.” Naturally, Chad Michaels is front and center since she’s most known for her Cher impersonations. The All-Stars winner channels the dance diva by wearing her infamous attention-grabbing Academy Awards outfit.
Joining Michaels in the clip are Shangela, Manila Luzon, Willam and Alyssa Edwards. Both Shangela and Manila look to Cher’s music videos for inspiration, picking looks from her “If I Could Turn Back Time” and “Believe” clips. Alyssa serves up Mermaids Cher realness, while Willam goes old school, harkening back to the 67-year-old icon’s “Half-Breed” era. Check out the homage visual below.
One of my favorite things to do whenever I’m in Los Angeles is check out the drag show at Micky’s. Clearly, it’s a must-see event for Lady Gaga as well.
Earlier this week, the 27-year-old singer visited the West Hollywood nightspot to film footage for her “Applause” lyric video. For all you RuPaul’s Drag Race viewers, you’ll recognize a few familiar faces. Fan favorites Shangela, Willam, Morgan McMichaels and more sashay their stuff in the clip. A couple of them even sport Gaga’s clown makeup. Check out the drag-tastic video below.
I’m surprised RuPaul didn’t think of this sooner. The grand dame of RuPaul’s Drag Race is heading out on the road. Correction. Ru herself isn’t going, but she’s sending her trusty hag Michelle Visage to oversee and host the Battle of the Seasons tour. Tickets go on sale today Friday, July 19. No stalling and be sure to act quickly just in case the show in your city sells out.
“I am honored to be the hostess (a.k.a drag mother) to these talented queens, and we are overjoyed to be working with the legendary Live Nation to bring the art of drag to yet another level: theater,” Michelle Visage said. “RuPaul’s Drag Race has given the art form a voice, and we cannot wait to use it at a theater near you!”
