With the Fall television season in full swing, I thought it was a perfect time to highlight some of the new eye candy. Two of the new freshman shows I checked out this week were Crazy Ones and Lucky 7. I don’t know about you, but I always get James Wolk and Matt Long mixed up. So much so, when my partner asked me where he recognized one of them, I listed off the other actor’s credits. Am I the only one who confuses the two?
I first noticed James Wolk when he starred in FOX’s ill-fated Lone Star. Thankfully, the 28-year-old rebounded from that embarrassment with memorable roles on both the small and silver screen. His television credits include Political Animals, Mad Men and Happy Endings where he engaged in man-on-man action. On the big screen, he co-starred with his Political Animals co-star Sigourney Weaver in You Again. The Michigan-born stud now stars in the CBS comedy, Crazy Ones.
Though more baby faced, Matt Long is actually older than Wolk and 33-years-old. Long burst onto the scene in the WB’s Jack and Bobby. Like Wolk, he’s also appeared on Mad Men. Perhaps that’s why I interchange the two often. His other television appearances include Love Bites, The Newsroom and Private Practice. His biggest film credit involved co-starring with a then-sane Amanda Bynes in Sydney White. Matt is currently starring in ABC’s new drama, Lucky 7.
Now that you know a bit about each actor, it’s time to get to the goods. And by that I mean shirtless pics. Check out the studs below and be sure to cast your vote on Who’d You Rather after inspecting their assets.
Both Joey Lawrence and Ian Ziering made big names for themselves in the 90s starring in Blossom and Beverly Hills, 90210 respectively. Recently, both donned Chippendales’ iconic bow ties and strutted their stuff at the male revue’s Las Vegas show. It only seemed natural to pit these two former teen heartthrobs against each other in our latest Who’d You Rather battle.
Lawrence first started acting at a very young age. His first acting role was in a Cracker Jack commercial. After appearing in guest spots on Diff’rent Strokes and Silver Spoons, Lawrence won the role of Joey Donovan on the hit NBC sitcom Gimme a Break! In the 90s he, excuse the pun, blossomed into a bona fide television star, playing the dimwitted Joey Russo. In between all his acting gigs, Joey dabbled in music, scoring an international hit single, “Nothin’ My Love Can’t Fix.” Currently, the 37-year-old is starring in the ABC Family sitcom, Melissa & Joey, opposite Melissa Joan Hart. He’s married to his second wife and has two daughters.
Before hitting it big playing Steve Sanders, the 49-year-old actor worked on daytime soaps, The Doctors and Guiding Light. Since leaving the famous zip code, he’s guest starred on numerous shows including JAG, CSI: NY and What I Like About You. On the fourth season of Dancing With The Stars, he reached the semi-finals with partner Cheryl Burke. Recently, he made a comeback with SyFy’s inexplicable huge hit, Sharknado. Like Lawrence, Ziering is on his second marriage and has two daughters. Check out these two studs side by side below and cast your vote.
First Jane Lynch filed for divorce and now another Glee relationship bites the dust. Jonathan Groff who appeared on the FOX show for the first couple of seasons and his Trekkie boyfriend, Zachary Quinto, are calling it quits after a year-long relationship. Reportedly, the split is amicable and no salacious extra-curricular bedroom activities were to blame. Rather, it was their busy schedules that caused the split.
“Zach being away and filming was not easy on them,” US Weekly’s source says. “Now he’s going to be in New York with his new play ["The Glass Menagerie"]. They really loved each other, so it wasn’t an easy split.” “It just ran its course,” the source adds.
Groff (28) is currently filming the TV movie, The Normal Heart for Ryan Murphy, and has a lead role in an upcoming HBO gay comedy. Quinto (36) was most recently seen on the big screen in Star Trek Into Darkness. No word on whether or not he’ll appear on the third iteration of American Horror Story but chances are pretty good he’ll at least make a cameo. Murphy loves him and cast Zach for the first two seasons.
Since they’re both on the market now, I thought I’d pit these two against each other in our latest Who’d You Rather battle. After all, I’m sure they’ll be competing with each other for those hookers on Grindr trying to get some celebrity ass play. Check out solo pictures of them below, along with the couple during happier times. Be sure to cast your vote afterwards.
One can never have too many bathing suits. And if you do? One can never get tired of looking at handsome fit men modeling them. For our latest Who’d You Rather battle, I thought I’d pit two brothers against each other who were featured in Lodoli Swimwear’s most recent ad campaign.
Marin (left) and Nick Vrnoga De Gregorio (right) were tapped by the European label to show off their new lines: Water; Bi Color; Steel; Olympic; and Bomba Aqua 2. The collections features push-up briefs and boxer brief cuts in an assortment of colors. Check out the ad campaign titled “Jungle Fever” snapped by Danijel Galic below and be sure to cast your vote on who’d you rather afterward. Enjoy.
For our latest Who’d You Rather battle, I thought I’d switch things up a little. Instead of pitting just two guys together, I decided a handful of hot guys would be spicier. What’s their common thread? They all dated the same woman… Sophia Bush at one point or another.
The former One Tree Hill actress sure has a knack for enticing hot men to woo her. She also likes to sh*t where she eats. Three of her long-term relationships involved her OTH co-stars. That must’ve been an awkward set during all the bed hopping. Seeing a recent pic of the actress with her current beau inspired this post. Check out her dudes below and cast your vote on Who’d You Rather afterward.
It’s a battle of the sequels this Memorial Day weekend at the box office. The Hangover Part III faces off against The Fast and The Furious 6. While these two films battle it out for your dollars, I thought it was only fitting that I pit the stars of the films in our latest Who’d You Rather poll.
Figuring out which two exactly proved to be a dilemma. Should I pit Vin Diesel against Justin Bartha, or Bradley Cooper against Tyrese Gibson? In the end, I decided to go with a Bradley Cooper and Paul Walker match-up. My rationale being that both of them were victors in their previous battles. Cooper edged out Bartha and Walker beat out his racing buddies. I’m curious to see which of these guys tops the other. In this battle, it’s anyone’s guess. In my fantasy, it’s Cooper who tops Walker ;) Check out the pics below and be sure to cast your vote afterward
In honor of Arrow‘s first season concluding this week, I thought I’d pit two of the show’s male stars against each other in our latest Who’d You Rather poll. Given that Colton Haynes will most likely be Stephen Amell’s sidekick next season, it was only appropriate to pit this Batman and Robin-type relationship against each other.
First up is Stephen Amell. This Canadian actor just oozes man. The 32-year-old actor guest starred on numerous shows including Queer as Folk, The Vampire Diaries, 90210 and New Girl to name a few. My favorite was his role on Showtime’s Hung where he played a male prostitute. Lots of gratuitous shirtless scenes. But by far, his biggest role to date is playing Oliver Green on Arrow. The pilot gave the network its highest ratings in years. Those titillating promo posters certainly did the trick. Amell is a recent newlywed, marrying former ANTM alum Cassandra Whitehead.
Next up is 24-year-old Colton Haynes. Haynes started out his career by modeling for Abercrombie & Fitch, Ralph Lauren and JC Penney. Prior to landing his role as Roy Harper on The CW show, Colton played a werewolf twice on ABC’s The Gates and MTV’s Teen Wolf. He’s also appeared in a couple of episodes of The Hills, music videos for Leona Lewis and My Chemical Romance. Check out photos of Colton and Stephen below and cast your vote on Who’d You Rather.
It’s been a couple of weeks since I pitted Charlie Hunnam against Alex Pettyfer. Thought I’d have a little fun with my latest Who’d You Rather match-up. If don’t understand the post title, clearly you’ve never heard of the awesomeness that is Macklemore & Ryan Lewis. The Seattle duo’s breakout hit, “Thrift Shop” has sold over 2.2 million copies and viewed more than 275 million times on YouTube. Their latest clip, “Can’t Hold Us” is even more epic.
Not many guys can pull of seemingly random put-together pieces from vintage stores and make it look hot. But for some reason, these two hipster poster boys pull it off and do it with massive sex appeal. I have to say, Macklemore isn’t typically my type, but there’s just something about him. Both guys not only have that white boy hip hop swagger going for them, but both are huge LGBT allies which makes them even more attractive. Their “Same Love” music video is a must-see.
If you don’t know who’s who? Macklemore, born Ben Haggerty, is the 29-year-old redhead, while Ryan Lewis is the 25-year-old brunette. Check out photos of them below and cast your vote.
