I originally had another hottie in mind for this week’s Man Crush, but replaced him the second I saw stills from That’s My Boy which is available on DVD on October 16. Firstly, I had no idea Milo Ventimiglia appeared in the Adam Sandler summer bomb and secondly I was shocked to see how much he’s changed since his Gilmore Girls days. He’s almost unrecognizable (in a good way). Now 35-years-old, Milo is one hunky slab of sexy prime beef, complete with muscles and juicy bubble butt. SWOON. Must be that no cigarettes, no alcohol and vegetarian diet of his. It’s no surprise he was named PETA’s Sexiest Vegetarian in 2009.
Before landing his career-making role as Jesse “Jess” Mariano on Gilmore Girls, Ventimiglia guest starred in several sitcoms including The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, Sabrina, the Teenage Witch and Saved by the Bell: The New Class to name a few. He parlayed his four years as a teen heartthrob into playing a superhero on NBC’s Heroes. Milo’s film credits including playing Rocky’s son in 2006′s Rocky Balboa, Armored with Matt Damon and Gamer with Gerard Butler. Check out the series of photos of Milo over the years below. Not going to lie, but I’ve been crushin’ hard on Scott Speedman for years now. Ever since I laid my eyes on him on Felicity, I was in love. I don’t blame Keri Russell for following stalking him cross country and for dating him in real life. Since the 37-year-old actor’s new show Last Resort premiered this week, I thought it was a perfect time to highlight this stud for my Man Crush feature. If you didn’t catch the pilot episode, make sure you give the show a try. The show producer has promised viewers that several shirtless scenes of Scott are coming. Better make some room on your DVR/PVR.
Speedman was born in London, England in 1975. At age four, his family moved to Toronto. You’d be surprised to know he was a competitive swimmer during his youth and even placed ninth at the 1992 Canadian Olympic trials. Unfortunately, a neck injured ended his athletic career. He soon shifted gears and studied acting at the University of Toronto and York University.
Arguably, Felicity was his big break. The show’s success elevated Speedman’s career instantly and soon he was landing film roles with Gywneth Paltrow and Kate Beckinsale in Duets and Underworld respectively. The latter proved a lucrative career move as he appeared in a few Underworld sequels. Most recently he appeared with Channing Tatum and Rachel McAdams in The Vow. I’m beyond ecstatic that Scott is now available on a weekly basis once again. Thank you ABC and I look forward to those promised shirtless scenes and a sneak peek at his “submarine” in the DVD extras ;)
With all the times we’ve written about Dean Geyer on Homorazzi, you’d think he would’ve made the cut for my Man Crush feature before. Surprisingly, that’s never happened. What was I thinking? Given that Glee airs its fourth season premiere tonight, I thought it was time I stop skirting the issue and declare my online love SLASH lust for Geyer this week. Welcome Dean, you’re about to be crush’d.
Geyer was born in Johannesburg, South Africa and later moved to Melbourne, Australia. He gained notoriety down under during his run on the fourth series of Australian Idol, where he eventually placed third. He parlayed his popularity on the talent show to a recording contract. After a lukewarm response to his debut album, the 26-year-old ventured into the world of acting. He landed a role on the popular Aussie soap, Neighbours.
Last year, Geyer made a splash in North American waters by making his film debut in the action film, Never Back Down 2: The Beatdown and starring in Steven Spielberg’s ill-fated FOX series, Terra Nova. The network execs must’ve loved him since he’s appearing in another FOX show. I’m sure his appearance on Glee as Brody Weston will elevate his rising star even more and earn him legions of new fans. I originally crushed on Taylor Kinney back in 2010 as he was about to make his debut as Mason Lockwood on The CW’s The Vampire Diaries. Since the 31-year-old actor is one of the stars of NBC’s upcoming Chicago Fire, I thought it was time to update this post and lust over this stud again. As two years have passed since my initial writeup, I’ve added many more photos to this post. After you check out my updated collection of Kinney’s shirtless pics, I’m sure you’ll agree he’s worth selecting as a Man Crush once again.
Kinney was raised alongside his three brothers by their single mother. Before developing an interest in acting, he studied business management at West Virginia University. Like all aspiring actors, he practiced his craft in theatre in such plays as Fallout and A Streetcar Named Desire. His feature films credits include Furnace, White Air and Diary of a Champion.
Before appearing on Chicago Fire, this Pennsylvanian native was best known as Luke Gianni on Fashion House (MyNetworkTV) and for his recurring role on NBC’s now-canceled Trauma. That all changed when he joined The Vampire Diaries cast on The CW. He became even more well known when he began shacking up with Lady Gaga. Taylor even appeared in one of her music videos. Just like my Model Behavior feature, I’m making a return to sharing my weekly Man Crushes after a month-long sabbatical. With the new television season around the corner what better time to objectify some of Fall TV’s hunky men. Originally, I had another stud in mind, but the second I watched the pilot episode of The New Normal, I was instantly in crush.
Meet Jayson Blair. The 28-year-old actor plays Clay Clemmens, a cheating boyfriend caught in the act, on the new NBC sitcom. Hopefully, he’ll make more appearances later in the season, shirtless of course. Prior to showing his “gherkin” on The New Normal, Blair appeared on the now-defunct MTV series, The Hard Times of RJ Berger. On that show he played a bullying in-the-closet jock. The scene where he hooks up with another guy in the showers is kinda hot.
Jayson’s other acting credits include roles on 2 Broke Girls, The Closer, Heroes, Glee and Rizzoli & Isles. He’s also dabbled in commercials appearing in ads for Taco Bell, Honda Civic and Pizza Hut. “Sparkle” may not have been as amazing as “Dreamgirls“, but it did leave me with one hot lasting impression. The second I walked out of the theater, I knew immediately Omari Hardwick would be my latest Man Crush. This 38-year-old actor oozed manly sexiness every time he appeared on the screen. How anyone could throw him to the curb is absolute craziness? Have you seen those muscles hiding underneath that shirt in the picture above? Watch “Sparkle” and you’ll see Jordin Sparks’ on-screen big sister make this grave mistake.
Hardwick was born in Savannah, Georgia on January 9, 1974. Prior to appearing in Whitney Houston’s last film, the actor starred in Spike Lee’s “Miracle at St. Anna”, “The A-Team” remake with Bradley Cooper and Tyler Perry’s “For Colored Girls“. Omar has also worked on the small screen on such shows as “CSI: Miami” and NBC’s “Chase“.
You’d be surprised to know he’s an accomplished poet. In 2003 and 2004, he placed in the top five at the National Poetry Slam. Given that muscular frame of his, it’s no shocker he’s a natural athlete. He played football in high school, college and even briefly for the San Diego Chargers. This week’s Man Crush has appeared in minor roles on several television shows including, “The Middle”, “90210″, “The Hills” and “Cougar Town”. But it’s his role on ABC’s “Baby Daddy” that is getting Derek Theler noticed. It’s about time. This sexy beast can be my baby daddy anytime he wants. GROWL.
Born in Fort Collins, Colorado, Theler grew up playing sports and graduated from Colorado State with a degree in pre-medicine. This blue-eyed hunk appeared in several commercials for such brands like Nike, Coke Zero, State Farm, Kayak and Arbys. Currently, he can be seen in a Verizon ad. He, and his “little guy“, were even featured in an anti-ball Funny or Die clip starring Katherine Heigl. Check it out. He’s wearing only a bow tie and underwear. Yummers.

Patrick first wrote about this week’s Man Crush a couple of months ago, but Brenton Thwaites is so damn hot I had to feature him in my weekly series. Plus, I do love my Aussie boys, especially after visiting the Land Down Under earlier this year. If you like your Bel Ami buff porn stars with some One Direction boy band appeal, you’ll appreciate this piece of legal eye candy.
Thwaites won an international search to play the male lead in the television remake of “The Blue Lagoon“. The original 1980 motion picture instantly propelled Brooke Shields and Christopher Atkins to superstardom. Unfortunately for Brenton, I don’t think the Lifetime adaptation will do the same. The remake has nothing on the original and not just because Thwaites doesn’t do full frontal like Atkins did. You’d think with Denise Richards of “Wild Things” fame as part of the cast, the film would venture off to softcore porn. Sadly, no junk shots of Brenton, but what he does show off is quite nice. There are plenty of pictures below to prove my point.
This 23-year-old actor was born in Cairns, Queensland. His acting career kicked off into high gear when he landed a recurring role in Australia’s long-running soap opera, “Home and Away“. Even though “Blue Lagoon: The Awakening” won’t make him a household name, it’s a good starting point for his North American debut. Brenton can next be seen playing the young Prince Charming in “Maleficient” starring Angelina Jolie in the titular role, set to hit theaters on March 14, 2014.
