Normally, I try to stay away from male models for my Man Crush posts. I already have my other weekly feature, Model Behavior, to highlight them. To boot, last week’s hottie (Justin James Hughes) was also selected for appearing in a commercial. With that said, I couldn’t ignore all the hype and slobbering over Andrew Cooper the past couple of days. You may not know his name, but you definitely know his well-defined abs.

Cooper became an instant viral sensation when his Diet Coke commercial debuted. Like the women in the ad, the second the British stunner took of his shirt, you were instantly hooked. Nothing could tear your eyes away from his sweaty physique. Given that you know his body of work (literally), I thought I’d share more photos from this stud’s portfolio.

Currently on models.com, Cooper is the 18th ranked money-making male model in the industry right now. With gigs for Ralph Lauren, Gap, Bottega Veneta, Perry Ellis, Banana Republic and DKNY to name a few, it’s not hard to understand why. He’s definitely the go-to guy when it comes to selling a product or lifestyle. The 31-year-old is represented by several agencies worldwide including New York Model Management (NYC), Models 1 (London) and Elite Milan (Milan). Since I’ve gathered so many images, I’m not commenting on them. Instead, I’ll let his hotness speak for itself this week. Enjoy.

In the three years or so I’ve been writing my Man Crush posts, I think this is a first. I’m writing about a guy in a 30-second ad spot. While watching the NFL playoffs last weekend, I noticed this hot guy in a Miller Lite commercial downing saucy chicken wings. Immediately I asked myself who the stud in the tank top with the beefy arms was. After a few minutes on Google, I discovered his name is Justin James Hughes, along with a whackload of shirtless pictures (YUM).

You’d be surprised to know that this Las Vegas native had aspirations of attaining a degree in Business Management and getting a career in Casino Administration. Thankfully, he had a change of heart and decided to explore the entertainment industry. I can’t imagine a greater crime than covering up that bangin’ body of his and keeping it to himself. For shame.

In addition to appearing in the aforementioned Miller Lite ad, Justin has appeared in other commercials including an IHOP one. His television credits include guest spots on 90210, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, Modern Family and Bones. Clearly, I need to spend more time enjoying the arts- ballet especially. The second I saw the cover of Vanity Fair Italia this month, I immediately Google’d the cover boy, Roberto Bolle. Turns out the sexy beast is an Italian ballet dancer. Gorgeous and flexible. Definitely two of my criteria for my weekly Man Crush post.

The 37-year-old is currently a principal dancer at the American Ballet Theatre. Born in Casale Monferrato, Italy, he’s the first Italian to hold the prestigious position with the company. If you’re an Olympics fan, you might recognize Bolle from the opening ceremony at the Turin Winter Games back in 2006. Given his handsomeness and dance ability, he’s a favorite by many publications for editorial work including one with supermodel Coco Rocha for US Vogue. His recent shoot for Vanity Fair Italia was shot by photographer Marc Hom. Check out those pictures below, along with many from his career. Hope you enjoy this week’s object of my online affection.

Hats off to Bravo for how they handled the premiere of their newest reality show. The way Vanderpump Rules segued from The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills without a commercial break, opening or closing credits was brilliant. The strategy worked and Vanderpump Rules held practically most of its RHOBH lead-in. It’ll be interesting to see if it can maintain those retention numbers in the coming weeks. I know I will keep watching. Ashamedly, I LOVED IT. It reminded me a lot of The Hills when it was good. The cast even ate at one restaurant featured on the MTV reality show.

Another reason for me to tune in is that sexy Jax Taylor. The 29-year-old bartends at Lisa Vanderpump’s restaurant SUR. Jax can pour me a mojito (among other things) anytime he wants. WOOF. In addition to appearing on the BRAVO reality show, Jax is a successful working model. He’s appeared in editorials for GQ Japan, Details, V MAN, Cosmopolitan and gay publications Out magazine and Instinct. A few of the ad campaigns he’s scored include AussieBum, 2XIST, Energie, Abercrombie & Fitch and Taco Bell (LOL) to name a few. He even became the face of an XBOX video game. After a heated month-long competition, we finally have a winner for our 2012 Man Crush Showdown. Who will follow in the footsteps of Scott Herman and Jonathan D. Lovitz who won the competition in 2010 and 2011 respectively? Find out below.

Like the 2012 Model Behavior Showdown, there was a clear winner. This sexy Aussie held the lead from the get-go and never let it go. The most interesting part of his victory was the fact he didn’t even win his preliminary round. In fact, he came in third and only earned his spot in the finals as a wildcard. Keep reading to find out who he is and who the two runners-up were.

And then there were ten. Now that the preliminary rounds are over, it’s time to kick the 2012 Man Crush Showdown into high gear. Over the next few days, your votes will crown a winner. Who will follow in the footsteps of Scott Herman and Jonathan D. Lovitz who won in 2010 and 2011 respectively.

Before I get to the results from Round 2 of the 2012 Man Crush Showdown, I wanted to address a technical glitch. The poll was supposed to close at 11:59 pm on December 26th, but it never did. To keep the results in line with the designated voting period, I went through the logs and voided all votes cast past 12:00 am December 27th. In the end, it really didn’t change the Top 4 with exception to a switcheroo between first and second place, and also third and fourth. Without further ado, let’s get to the final amended results.

Coming in first place is Jayson Blair with 861 total votes (1379 original minus 518 votes voided). In the runner-up slot was Ryan Guzman with 830 eligible votes (1507-677). Both Blair and Guzman automatically earn a slot in the finals. In third place and stands a good chance of advancing via one of the four wildcard slots is Taylor Kinney. After subtracting his invalid votes (3), he ended up with 765 votes. Just in case you were wondering what each Man Crush in Round 2 got subtracted from their totals, click here. With only one round left before the finals next week, the Top 10 is quickly coming together. Just like my 2012 Model Behavior Showdown, the annual Man Crush Showdown is also off to a resounding success. Almost 20,000 votes were cast in Round 1. Unlike the first round of the Model Behavior showdown, the gap between the Top 3 here was more than five votes. There was a clear winner.

Coming in first place was actor Brandon Quinn with 5,001 votes. To be perfectly honest, I was a little surprised. Though sexy in that rough kind of way, I didn’t think he’d win Round 1. The other person to earn an automatic berth in the Final Round is Mario Casas (4,446 Votes). Props to our readers for advancing such a tasty foreign dish. Just missing out in third place is Aussie hunk, Dan Ewing with 3,743 votes. I’m sure with that total, he’ll earn one of the four wild card slots for the finals.
