I spent Christmas in Hawaii this year and one of the things I wanted to do but didn’t get around to was shark cage diving. I’m deathly afraid of sharks, but have always been equally fascinated by them ever since I was a kid. I was obsessed with Baywatch and Jaws movies. I actually randomly ended up getting a shark tattoo on my left shoulder while I was there. Anyway, after watching this video – I’m not so sure shark cage diving is for me.
While vacationing in Gansbaai, South Africa, a man named Bryan Plummer decided to go shark cave diving with friends. He filmed as his recently married friend Roger was in the cage and instead of the shark going for the bait, he went for Roger and it was caught on video. Here’s what Plummer had to say about the incident:
“I went shark diving March 21st, 2013 for the first time in Gansbaai, South Africa with my sister Leanne Plummer and best friends Peter Lipscombe, Richard Lipscombe and Monica Kronfli .. and managed to catch this on film!! A shark totally ignores the bait and goes straight for the cage!! He gets his head inside the cage, while fellow diver Roger (who got married the day before), acted quickly to swim below the gaping sharks mouth and to avoid any injury. Apologies for any profanity in the video.. it was an out of control situation.”
The video was just uploaded a few days ago and has gone viral, with almost two million views already. Watch the video below and maybe think twice about shark cage diving.
It’s safe to say that the Harlem Shake YouTube trend is over now. These things come and go so quickly (which is a good thing). That being said, earlier this week I came across a video of kids reacting to Harlem Shake videos and thought it was worth sharing.
Kids have absolutely no filter and they say exactly what’s on their minds… so you can imagine their reactions and they things they say when they see grown ups dancing around like weirdos in these viral Harlem Shake videos.
Watch the video below and although I was super into all of the videos when it was a thing, I’m ready to give it all a rest after this. Enjoy!
A new video by a YouTuber named Tori Locklear that has gone viral over the past few days is just the perfect material for Willam’s Beatdown (and a new episode comes out later today… check back here for that).
Tori Locklear is one of the many people on YouTube who like to offer beauty tips and tutorials, despite their limited knowledge or lack of any formal training. For Locklear, this video was supposed to be about how to curl your hair… but things didn’t go as planned.
Thankfully, regardless of what happened, she decided to share the video and that’s what YouTube is all about. It goes without question that the video would have never receive the attention it has had the procedure gone as planned. Watch the video below to find out what happened. One person who commented on the video wrote this awesome play-by-play of Locklear’s reaction: “1:09 shock and denial, 1:11 pain, 1:24 anger and bargaining, 1:26 depression, and? 1:42 acceptance.” Enjoy!
This is definitely one of the cutest videos I’ve ever seen. The Humpy Observer took the time to compile a bunch of the cutest animal videos on the internet into one compilation. The result: death by cuteness.
Kittens, birds, bunnies, puppies, and so many other adorable animals are shown in this video. I have two dogs myself and I couldn’t imagine my life without them. If anything, this video can show you how having a pet could bring so much joy and love into your life. Combined with the music, it’s enough to make you cry. In fact, one YouTube commenter even wrote, “This video can? even make Chuck Norris cry”.
The music that the compilation is set to is “The Time To Run (Finale)” by Dexter Britain. Watch the adorable video below.
Something called The Harlem Shake is taking over the Internet and it’s hard to hate the trend when it involves hot shirtless guys dancing (sometimes in just their underwear). Originally, “The Harlem Shake” was only a dance that originated back in 1981. Last year, a song by the same name was released by Baauer that was released back in 2012. Now in 2013, The Harlem Shake that is taking over the Internet is a YouTube video/dance to Baauer’s song and it’s in a category of its own.
This new Internet meme that started in early 2013 and it’s being compared to “Gangnam Style” in terms of YouTube popularity. Each video usually begins with one person (often masked) dancing to the song alone for 15 seconds, surrounded by other people who appear unaware of the dancing person. When the bass drops, the camera transitions to the entire crowd doing the dance for the next 15 seconds, often wearing minimal clothing or crazy outfits while making use of strange props.
Check out a handful of these humorous and kind of hot videos below. Even Anderson Cooper and his staff did one! Enjoy!
The thing about porn (more so back in the day) is that there’s often a very cheesy storyline coupled with some really awful acting… I mean… so I’ve heard. Nowadays it’s more about the “reality” porn or any and everything involved “straight” guys.
Anyway, a while back someone with a bit of extra time compiled a handfull of clips that demonstrate this really bad porn acting perfectly. These of course are the scenes that take place before things get hot and heavy, with the “chicka bow wow” music kicks in. I’ve included five of these videos below.
As I mentioned, the actual scenarios are just as hilarious as the acting. I wonder if these guys laugh or cringe when they look back and watch these (assuming they ever actually rewatch them… LOL). Enjoy!
Every year, People Are Awesome put together a compilation of some of the most incredible footage you can imagine from some of the bravest and craziest people on the planet. Released earlier this month, the video for 2012 is no exception.
As the video commences, we see a surfer riding an overwhelmingly huge wave that looks like nothing but a death wish. From there we see countless clips of people doing crazy stunts in the sky, on mountains, diving off cliffs and more. We also see some pretty notable moments in sports where whatever incredible moment that occurs just happens to be caught on camera.
As far as all of the stunts in this video, there is not one thing that I would ever do or attempt to do myself. These people are clearly daredevils and highly trained in their area of expertise.
A while back, I wrote about a YouTube channel calld LAHWF, which stands for “Losing All Hope Was Freedom,” a quote from Fight Club. The main guy from the videos is Andrew Hales and in their videos you see them executing very awkward pranks on people…like trying to hold hands with them, holding the door open for people that are very far away, and many more.
In this new video, the actors are on the streets asking locals for directions, but literally echo everything the people say as the directions are given. Essentially, they’re playing a good old fashioned game of “copycat”. I love seeing people’s reactions as they try no continue giving directions and hold back their laughter as it’s happening.
Watch the video below and definitely check out the other videos if you haven’t seen them out yet.
