“It’s a hard three letters to absorb. It’s a turning point in one’s life,” Charlie Sheen told Matt Lauer as he revealed his HIV-positive status on The Today Show. The 50-year-old disclosed he first found out four years ago when he experienced a “cluster of headaches” and was waking up in sweat. What he feared might be a brain tumor, turned out to be HIV instead.

Sheen decided to come forward now to stop “shakedowns” by people who he once confided his status to and were now threatening to spill the beans. He claims he’s already paid out upwards of $10 million to keep the illness a secret.

The former Two And A Half Men star revealed he takes four pills every day, and his doctor said the main battle facing the actor is not related to HIV, but relapsing into substance abuse problems or entering into depression related to his diagnosis.

Who doesn’t love Pretty Woman? The infamous necklace scene, shopping on Rodeo, flying escargots and THAT laugh!!! There’s so many memorable and endearing moments. I can’t even estimate how many times I’ve watched it.

The classic 1990 romantic comedy is responsible for catapulting Julia Roberts into the stratosphere. She earned an Oscar nod and won a Golden Globe for playing the loveable prostitute.

The principal cast including Richard Gere and Laura San Giacomo, along with Roberts sit down for the first time in 25 years to chat with Matt Lauer about the beloved film. The segment won’t air until next week on The Today Show, but a teaser preview was released. Check it out below. I can’t wait to watch the reunion.

Will & Grace Reunite For GLAAD Spirit Day

In: Donovan, Totally GAY!, TV Shows

On September 21, 1998, a sitcom featuring a single woman and gay men debuted on NBC. The ground-breaking series would go on for eight seasons and garner Emmys for the entire main cast, even winning the big prize- Best Comedy in 2003.

Fifteen years later, Debra Messing and Eric McCormack reunited on the Today Show to reminisce about Will & Grace and celebrate GLAAD Spirit Day. Check out the duo discuss the social impact the show had below, along with other topics.

“It definitely does not feel like it was 15 years ago,” says Debra Messing. “It feels as if it was just two years ago.”

For all you Cher fans, today is your lucky day. The 67-year-old announced she’s hitting the tour to promote her 26th studio album, Closer To The Truth. Dressed To Kill will be her first tour in eight years, minus a Casesars Place residency in Las Vegas back in 2011. Her last full out road tour was called, ironically enough, the Farewell Tour. Guess it wasn’t a good-bye after all.

“The road is horrible but the concerts are great,” Cher told Today. “I understand why guys in bands tear up hotel rooms and throw TVs out the windows because it’s a very lonely place.”

Speaking of The Today Show, the “Woman’s World” singer performed three tracks to an adoring crowd this morning. In addition to her current dance hit, she belted out the classic “Believe” and “I Hope You Find It” which can be found on her new album in stores tomorrow. Check out the performances and concert tour dates below.

This is going to sound extremely sad but I’m not ashamed. The ONLY thing I regret about spending a party-filled weekend in Portland was the fact I missed the Miss USA pageant. LOL, right? I’m not sure why, but I’m obsessed with the annual competition along with Miss Universe. The other pageants I don’t even bother with. Making me upset even more was the fact I missed watching an epic flub during the question portion of the night. I LIVE for a girl to ramble incessantly about a topic she’s clearly struggling with.

That’s exactly what happened to Miss Utah when she was asked by NeNe Leakes about the wage discrepancy between men and women despite doing the same job. Marissa Powell tried to answer the question by talking about a topic she was much more familiar with, but instead gave the world the now infamous “create education better.” While watching Powell calmly panic is entertaining enough, Miss Teen South Carolina 2007’s “maps” gibberish is still my all-time favorite.

Check out Powell’s second attempt at the “confusing” question below. She popped up on The Today Show with Miss USA winner Erin Brady for a quick interview. To Miss Utah’s credit, she answered it much better the second time round, but she’s also had two days to practice and receive some coaching. I’ve also embedded her disastrous first attempt along with Miss 2007 Teen South Carolina’s classic flub below.

If you’re on the fence about forking over the cash to watch The Package Tour, watching these videos might push you over the edge. I know I’m tempted. I love a good old school boy band tune.

New Kids on The Block, 98 Degrees and Boyz II Men appeared on The Today Show Friday, May 31 to promote their joint tour which kicked off in Connecticut the other day. Each of them took to the stage to perform their iconic hits. I wish the others would’ve followed NKOTB’s lead and performed a medley like them. Donnie Wahlberg, Danny Wood, Jordan Knight, Jonathan Knight and Joey McIntyre, belted out their hits “Step by Step” and “You Got the Right Stuff.”

Meanwhile Nick Lachey, Justin Jeffre, Jeff Timmons and Drew Lachey serenaded the crowd with “The Hardest Thing.” Nathan Morris, Shawn Stockman, and Wanya Morris kicked it old school with “Motownphilly.” Check out the performances below and let me know which one is your favorite.

Anderson Cooper Being Eyed For Two Major Gigs

In: Donovan, TV Shows

Even though Anderson Cooper’s syndicated talk show is canceled, he’s still one hot commodity. Not only is the 45-year-old CNN reporter being eyed for one prestigious hosting gig, but two. Like they say, when one door closes, another one opens. In this case, it’s two.

According to, NBC executives have reached out to Cooper about taking over The Today Show when Matt Lauer’s $25 million contract expires in 2014. With Lauer receiving plenty of negative press since Ann Curry’s ouster and his approval ratings tanking, the peacock network clearly won’t be renewing his contract. The once mighty daytime talk show is consistently playing second fiddle to ABC’s Good Morning America. Obviously, NBC is looking to shake things up and regain the crown.

Even though Matt is on his way out, execs reached out to him for his blessing. Not surprisingly, he’s not happy about his possible replacement. Allegedly, he even contacted Cooper to express his disapproval which caught Cooper by surprise. Ummmm, when did Lauer become the biggest douche in the world? Perhaps, he’s acting all competitive because both him and Cooper are up for another high-profile gig. Find out which one below.

Now that The Today Show is consistently in second place to Good Morning America, producers will stop at nothing to get an edge up. Even if that comes at the expense of their guests. Case in point, Tiffani Thiessen’s appearance on today’s episode. The 39-year-old actress (can you believe Kelly Kapowski is that old?) was all ready to play a round of trivia with Today staff when she was blindsided by one of her Saved By The Bell co-stars. Cue Mr. Belding aka Dennis Haskins.

It’s clear from the look on her face that Tiffani was unimpressed and uncomfortable with the situation. Even when Haskins comes over to shake her hand, she’s at a loss for words. You’d think after working for several years together, they’d greet each other with a hug. Once the surprise wore off and reality set it, Thiessen was a good sport and played along. I wouldn’t expect anything else from perky Kelly. After all, she was the most popular girl at Bayside High. Check out the mini Saved By The Bell reunion below.
