Triple 9 Debuts New International Movie Trailer

In: Donovan, Movies

How bad-ass does Kate Winslet look? The 40-year-old Oscar winner plays a Russian-Israeli mafia moll in the upcoming heist film, Triple 9. Director John Hillcoat, describes her character as “a really glamorous, nasty piece of work.” This criminal role isn’t your typical Kate fare which is why I’m so intrigued.

Joining Winslet in the crime flick is a star-studded roster that includes fellow Oscar nominees, Chiwetel Ejiofor and Woody Harrelson, along with Norman Reedus, Aaron Paul, Anthony Mackie, Casey Affleck and Wonder Woman herself, Gal Gadot. Triple 9 storms into theaters on February 19, 2016. Check out the new international trailer below.

Triple 9 Movie Trailer

In TRIPLE NINE, a crew of dirty cops is blackmailed by the Russian mob to execute a virtually impossible heist and the only way to pull it off is to manufacture a 999, police code for “officer down.” Their plan is turned upside down when the unsuspecting rookie they set up to die foils the attack, triggering a breakneck action-packed finale tangled with double-crosses, greed and revenge.

Nicholas Sparks’ The Choice Gets A New Trailer

In: Donovan, Movies

Ten of Nicholas Sparks’ published novels have been adapted for the big screen. In February 2016, lucky number 11 hits theaters.

As the protagonist states in the trailer, the “whole damn thing is about choices.” Benjamin Walker and Teresa Palmer are the two telegenic actors at the forefront of this latest romance. The two neighbors are brought together when their dogs get a little frisky.

Naturally, there is an attraction, but there’s one major hitch. Or should I say ‘super.” Palmer has a hunky doctor boyfriend played by Smallville‘s Tom Welling. Girl, stay with your man. Welling is looking even hotter and buffer these days.

The Choice Movie Synopsis

THE CHOICE tells the story of Travis Shaw and Gabby Holland, who meet first as neighbors in a small coastal town and end up pursuing a relationship that neither could have foreseen. Spanning a decade and tracing the evolution of a love affair that is ultimately tested by life’s most defining events, this story features a memorable ensemble of friends and family in Sparks’ beloved North Carolina setting, culminating in the question that every couple must ask themselves: how far would you go to keep the hope of love alive?

The Choice tearjerks moviegoers on February 5. Check out the new trailer below.

The first four minutes of an upcoming movie called Warm Bodies has been released and it’s definitely worth checking out! The film stars Nicholas Hoult, whom we first got to know in About A Boy, and later in A Single Man. He’s also the star of Jack The Giant Slayer and will also be reprising his role as Hank McCoy / Beast in X-Men: Days Of Future Past.

In Warm Bodies, Hoult stars as R, a zombie who becomes involved with the girlfriend of one of his victims. Their romance sets in motion a sequence of events that might transform the entire lifeless world. The first four minutes sets the scene for the film and gives you a good feel for what to expect. I wasn’t expecting to like it, but I was pleasantly surprised.

In addition to Hoult, the film also stars Teresa Palmer, Rob Corddry, John Malkovich, Analeigh Tipton, Dave Franco and Cory Hardrict. Check out the first four minutes of the film below!

First Look: I Am Number Four Trailer

In: Movies, Tyrell

If you are someone like me, you either never got into the vampire craze, or are completely over it. I am a little from both columns. Finally, a movie is coming out to fulfill my inner teenage fantasy desires that doesn’t involve werewolves or blood sucking.

I Am Number Four is based on the novel by Jobie Hughes and James Frey of the same name. The story revolves around nine infant aliens that have fled their planet to hide on Earth from the evil Mogadorians. Each alien is given a guardian to help guide them for as they get older, their super powers will begin to develop. These aliens were assigned a number and as they are hunted by their enemies, they can only be murdered in numerical sequence.

In the trailer, we learn that Numbers One through Three have been murdered in various places on the globe. One boy discovers that he is Number Four and next on the list. While attempting to blend in at a school in Ohio, Number Four (also known as John Smith, played by Alex Pettyfer) begins to fall in love with a girl named Sarah (played by Glee actress Dianna Agron). After running away from the Mogadorians his whole life, he finally finds something to stand up and fight for.
