Katy Perry isn’t the only who thinks Josh Kloss is a “Teenage Dream.” Her former music video love interest has been tapped by Impetus to front another ad campaign. The Portuguese brand has used Kloss for several of their underwear and beachwear promotional material for several years now.

Their 2013 Spring/Summer Beachwear line takes you to Paradise, locations where the sun and the sea are inexhaustible sources of inspiration for a collection as rich as it is varied in its themes. The collection ranges from the more classical solid-color boardshorts with a nautical look to the more retro fabrics, such as seersucker with thin horizontal lines in navy or red. For their 2012 ad campaign, Julipet enlisted Christian Santamaria to show off their beachwear collection. This time around the Italian-based brand taps male supermodel Miguel Iglesias (no relation to Enrique) to front their 2013 one. A fine choice indeed. Definitely a fan of the Spanish stunner who’s been the face and body for Armani Exchange, UGGs, Dolce & Gabbana and DSquared to name a few. Check out the promotional images below.

What do you get when you mix a little something from Russia, Sweden and the United States? More promotional images for H&M’s beachwear collection for Summer 2013. Arthur Kulkov and Tyson Ballou turn up the “Summer Heat” in an exotic locale wearing colorful summer essentials from the Swedish retailer. I need to go on vacay with this duo stat.

I’m sure at this point, you’re a little tired of seeing Beyonce’s H&M commercial playing on the hour every hour on every TV station. Seriously, how much was budgeted for their collaboration with the “Irreplaceable” singer? It’s literally on 24/7. Love her, but I want to see Kulkov and Ballou splash around on the beach in a commercial for a change of pace. Most likely we’ll never see that happen, so check out the still shots as a consolation prize. Enjoy.

To clip or not to clip? That is the question. I find myself also facing that dilemma right now. With the hot summer days fast approaching, I’m tempted to shave off all my hair. I’d miss my samurai pony though ;) And also, not sure I can rock a shaved head like Parker Hurley. Not many can, truth be told. With his toned and heavily-inked body, the stunner is one of the more popular guys I’ve featured in my Model Behavior series.

Parker’s hair transformation was recorded for Mr. Turk to show off their line of swimwear. Check Hurley sporting a couple of different hairstyles on his way to a sexy shaved ‘do. All in the name of fashion and a pay check (obviously). Enjoy.

In honor of our very own Matt heading down to Palm Springs for the second weekend of the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, I thought I’d share this photoshoot. Mr Turk photographed models Felix Bujo and Philippe LeBlond as they head for their Coachella adventure. Dressed in the company’s colorful shorts, swimwear and tanks, the two definitely have the unofficial music festival dress code down perfectly.

I have to admit, prior to stumbling upon this photo series, I had never heard of Mr. Turk. Naturally, I had to check out their threads. The brand’s spring collection is rich in color, prints and textures. A few of the pieces are too loud for my liking, but they have some really fun pieces. Next time I’m going on a tropical vacation or destination wedding, I’ll keep the label in mind. Check out their Coachella photoshoot below.

A couple weeks ago, I met the awesome guys behind Vanwolff swim and underwear (Marc & Andrew) when they were here in Vancouver visiting. Then last weekend, I spent some time with them at White Party in Palms Springs and they were gracious enough to give me a pair of swim briefs from their “Prey” collection and I simply love them!

Vanwolff has been around less than a year and have already received a lot of press for their high quality swimwear and unique designs. Their premium “Prey” line includes fourteen unique aquatic animal designs that are engineered and embedded into the fabric. They also have a more basic “Essentials” line that features four vibrant colors using the same innovative style. The swimwear is available in briefs and trunks.

One of the things I love about their designs is all of the detail that goes into it. Every garment features Vanwolff’s signature “woven-in-cording,” meaning each suit comes adorned with an original clever quote (i.e. “I Promise To Behave This Summer,” “Looking for Trouble,” etc.) expertly woven into the drawstring cording. Love that idea – definitely a great way to get a conversation going ;)

As you read this, fellow cast member Adam and I are in Palm Springs at White Party where many of the Andrew Christian models will also be and needless to say, we’re probably not having an awful time while at the pool party the AC models are at. ;)

Earlier this week, a hot new video was released called “Overboard” and it’s worth checking out (if you’re not at work). Yes, this one could be considered a little “overboard” in terms of the nudity and sexual content, but I’m sure you won’t be complaining. The boys start out on a sailboat on a picturesque sunny day and later end up stranded on a beach needing the help of some hot lifeguards… but what kind of help will they be getting?
