Why is everything in slow motion so much more beautiful to watch than at normal speed? Add paint being splashed on the torsos of shirtless UK football players and it becomes a masterpiece. OK, it isn’t exactly a Picasso by any means, but it’s definitely more interesting than some pieces of art I’ve seen in museums. Just saying’.

Adidas unveiled a new promo enticing fans to pre-order Chelsea’s 2013/14 kit (uniform for you Yanks) without seeing it. Titled simply, “It’s blue, what else matters?” They convinced nine of the club’s players to strip down half-naked and become human targets for buckets of blue paint. I bet it was a horny gay on the ad team who came up with this brilliant idea ;) Check out professional ballers John Terry, David Luiz become hot blue men below. If they ever get a career-ending injury, they’d be perfect to join The Blue Man Group. That or become extras on the next Smurfs movie.

Yesterday, a handsome 25-year-old US professional athlete and Olympic soccer player came out of the closet and his name is Robbie Rogers. Needless to say, I had to make him the Sports Stud for this week. He has decided to leave soccer (not sure if that is indefinitely or not) and focus on the next chapter of his life.

In his blog posting he wrote that throughout his life he has “been afraid, afraid to show whom I really was because of fear… Fear that judgment and rejection would hold me back from my dreams and aspirations. Fear that my loved ones would be farthest from me if they knew my secret. Fear that my secret would get in the way of my dreams.” By coming out of the closet, he has created the space to make whatever dreams he wants to come true a reality. “Secrets can cause so much internal damage. People love to preach about honesty, how honesty is so plain and simple. Try explaining to your loved ones after 25 years you are gay. I always thought I could hide this secret. Football was my escape, my purpose, my identity. Football hid my secret, gave me more joy than I could have ever imagined.”

Rogers played in the 2008 Olympics in Beijing and is also the co-owner of a men’s fashion brand called Halsey. Check out his sexy photos below as well as his entire “coming out” blog entry.

This week I decided to highlight a French hottie named Mathieu Debuchy that plays professional football for Newcastle United in the UK. The 27-year old actually only just signed with them on January 4, previously playing in France. He just signed a five-and-a-half year contract which will take him to the summer of 2018. The fee was not disclosed but it is believed to be in the ballpark of $5.5 million.

Given that he’s a professional soccer player he obviously has a great body, but he’s also so incredibly handsome and his tattoos are the cherry on top of a delicious… I was going to use alliteration with the word cake (ie: BLANK cake) but then two really dirty “c” words popped into my head so I decided to leave that alone.

One special treat with this guy is that there is a video clip of him and a teammate giving each other a nice big wet kiss on the field after celebrating a goal. I’ve included a screenshot as well as the actual video below. Enjoy!

Now that we’ve finally wrapped up 2012 and named the winner of the 2012 Sports Stud Showdown, we can kick off 2013 and what better way to kick off the year than with a sexy soccer player.

The first Sports Stud for 2013 is a little on the young side, but he’s become a sexy symbol nonetheless. His name is Moritz Leitner and he 20-years old and plays for Bundesliga club Borussia Dortmund as a midfielder. He’s a very young player on the team and according to The Hard Tackle, he has at least two more years, even by Dortmund’s extreme standards, before he is expected to start regularly for the club and develop into a better footballer.

Alexander Kokorin and Pavel Mamaev are two professional soccer players from Russia that recently spent their vacation in Miami. They posted a bunch of photos together, with some being very suggestive. If they are a couple, they are SO cute together, but some think that it may not be the case.

The reason is because Russia is not a country that is very supportive of their gay citizens and thus, it would be very ballsy for them to be posting such photos in social media. They would obviously be aware of what the response might be. That being said, maybe they are a couple and they did it on purpose to be bold and throw it in the faces of the homophobes. Many Russian soccer fans do not support gays playing their sport… nor do they support black people playing either. Ridiculous.

Grammy Award-nominated Hot Chip have just released a new music video for their single, “Don’t Deny Your Love” from their In Our Heads album that came out in June.

In the video, the band is in their tour bus playing a FIFA soccer video game. The players come out and then the two captains face off against each other for the coin toss with the announcer saying that there is “a lot of history there”. After a couple goals, the game is briefly interrupted as the players enter a “dimension of dance“. When they return to the game, chaos ensues and it looks like the two captains are going to fight, but then… they start making out. “Ohhh, that’s a beautiful kiss,” exclaims the announcer. “Well, we’ve been waiting years for this moment,” adds the announcer. “This is what football is all about.”

From there, all of the players start making out and it’s one big magical soccer orgy. Even the announcers start making out! Watch the video below.

For this week’s Sports Stud, I decided to highlight an Italian footballer / soccer player named Mattia Destro because this week I read that earlier this month he got in trouble for something totally ridiculous: almost taking off his shirt.

The 21-year-old plays for Serie A club Roma and when he scored the fourth goal in a 4-1 game against Palermo, he celebrated by starting to take his shirt off before his teammates stopped him because of a rule about that. He had received a yellow card earlier in the game, and even though his shirt didn’t actually come off, a rule is a rule and he received a second yellow card and was sent off the field by the ref after his goal. Also, as a result he got suspended Ridiculous!

Destro has a great body and gorgeous eyes. Since those lame soccer rules don’t apply on Homorazzi, you can see him with his shirt off and in his boxers below ;)

For this week’s Sports Stud I’ve decided to highlight a well-known British soccer player by the name of Steven Gerrard. The 32-year old is the captain of the Premier League club Liverpool and the England national team. For most of his career he has played centre midfield. To date, Gerrard is the only footballer to have scored a goal in an FA Cup Final, a League Cup Final, a UEFA Cup Final and a Champions League Final. Props to him for that!

Like most soccer players, Gerrard has a great body and very sexy legs. One of the standout features of his body though is definitely his abs. There’s one photo in particular that is just insane… total washboard. Not surprisingly, I’ve read that in the past he was voted by gay football/soccer fans in the UK as “hottest football player”. Needless to say fans went crazy when cameras captured him giving a kiss on the lips to one of his teammates (obviously I’ve included that below – hehe).

Gerrard got married back in 2007 and the year before that, he published an autobiography about his life. He and his wife Alex share three daughters. Check out his photos below!
