Kristin Wiig returns to her former stomping grounds this weekend. The 39-year-old comedienne joins Chevy Chase, Bill Murray and Eddie Murphy as former SNL alums who hosted the show the first year after leaving. Joining her as musical guest on Saturday Night Live is Vampire Weekend.

NBC just released a whackload of promos featuring Wiig hyping her stint as guest host. Her former co-star Fred Armisen also appears in the series of videos. From teasing which of her popular characters she’ll resurrect to getting slapped by Armisen, Kristen is up for anything to promote her episode. She even jokes that perhaps an Olivia Newton-John cameo might happen. Highly doubt it, but this hardcore Grease fan can always hope. Check out all the promos below.

Kristen Wiig Returns To Saturday Night Live

In: Donovan, TV Shows

Kristin Wiig is returning to her former stomping grounds, albeit in a hosting capacity, but at least it’s something. The 39-year-old comedienne will appear on the next-to-last episode of this season of Saturday Night Live airing May 11. Wiig joins Chevy Chase, Bill Murray and Eddie Murphy as former SNL alums who hosted the show the first year after leaving.

This isn’t the first time Wiig pops up on SNL since her departure last season. Back in December, she made a cameo in the Martin Short-hosted episode. I wonder if Kristen will reprise Gilly, Dooneese Maharelle or any of her other popular characters. Vampire Weekend will be the musical guest.

It’s a big a bit week for Justin Timberlake, having just hosted a pretty epic episode of SNL over the weekend and just opened up his new album to be streamed for free for a limited time on iTunes. Last night he was on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon for an interview and also to perform some music from his new album. JT is on Fallon’s show all week so there will be more good stuff to come.

Both guys are under the weather at the moment and we learn it’s because they made out over the weekend LOL. The first topic of discussion is the SNL episode and what it was like for JT. After Fallon starts making fun of how JT sings, JT joins in and makes fun of himself even better. LOL. Then the tables are turned and JT makes fun of Fallon by doing impressions of him and they’re actually pretty funny.

Last night’s episode of Saturday Night Live was pretty epic if you ask me. I was seriously laughing my head off the whole time. Justin Timberlake was back to host for his fifth time and to celebrate the occasion, several veterans from the “Five Timers Club” came back to welcome to the club. The famous faces included Paul Simon, Steve Martin, Dan Aykroyd, Chevy Chase, Martin Short, Alec Baldwin, Candace Bergen, and Tom Hanks. They all joined him early on in the episode, but Aykroid & Martin came back again later as their “two wild and crazy guys” characters in the “It’s A Date” dating game sketch. By the end of that segment, Timberlake and Andy Samberg joined in and they became four “wild and crazy guys”. Poor Bobby Moynihan was left out of the equation.

There were so many funny moments in the episode, from Justin talking about peeing on people’s faces to commercials about vaginal bling and so much more. I also loved the Champagne sketch, with the two characters we fell in love with after the Swarovski Crystals sketch when Jamie Foxx was hosting. This time, their ad was for Moet & Chandon. “One time I did a weird shoot in Messico and the two other girls went missing, but I’m still here. Thanks Champagne!

Check out some of the sketches from last night below. I’m totally rewatching the entire episode later on.

Watch Justin Timberlake’s New ‘SNL’ Promos

This weekend, Justin Timberlake will be hosting SNL for the fifth time and in addition to being the host, he’s also the musical guest. The promos for the March 9 episode have come out and it’s Kenan Thompson that is the cast member that joins JT in the video clips.

In the video, we see several of the promo clips, touching upon JT’s “Suit & Tie,” the fact that he’s doing both hosting and musical guest duties, and more. As you can see in the screen shot above, they joke that JT is also the camera guy, the sound guy, and the makeup guy as well. In addition to SNL, Timberlake will be performing on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon each night between March 11 – 15, and will be sitting down with Fallon for interviews at the beginning and end of the week.

Just announced today, Justin Timberlake will be hosting Saturday Night Live on March 9! In addition, it’s a double whammy because he’ll also be the musical guest!

This is going to be Timberlake’s fifth time hosting SNL, where he’s been a part of some pretty memorable sketches that include Andy Samberg’s “Dick in a Box,” a spoof of the video shoot for Beyoncé’s “Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It),” and the “3-Way (The Golden Rule)” music video with Lady Gaga and Andy Samberg.

In addition to SNL, Timberlake will be performing on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon each night between March 11 – 15, and will be sitting down with Fallon for interviews at the beginning and end of the week. Check out some of Justin Timberlake’s memorable sketch performances on SNL below. I Timber-LIKE all of this Timberlake! :) I can’t wait to see this upcoming episode!

This weekend, Justin Bieber is working double time as both the host and the musical guest on Saturday Night Live.

In this week’s promo, Bieber is paired up with the hilarious Keenan Thompson and they appear to be in one of the control rooms in the studio. When Bieber hits a certain button, all of the screens reveal pictures of Bieber and Bieber is creeped out. In another clip, Thompson can’t stop making “Believe” puns and it drives Bieber crazy. The promos aren’t insanely funny so hopefully the episode is much better. Hopefully he’s able to make fun of himself and some of the controversy as of late (ie. sexy Instagram photos, pot-smoking, grabbing a fan’s boob etc.). Apparently he has actually given the writers free reign to take on any marijuana gags so that’s promising.

Watch Bieber on SNL this coming Saturday, February 9 11:30pm ET/PT on NBC. Check out the promos below!

Last night, Adam Levine ditched his bandmates once again to take the spotlight and tackle the hosting duties of Saturday Night Live. Levine already appeared on the show this season with his band Maroon 5 as a musical guest. In his opening monologue, Levine poked fun at himself admitting that he was overachieving and attempting to act. Well, as long as you recognize it buddy. What made his opening monologue so stellar was the spoofing of his reality show, The Voice. Three chairs turned around in the opener revealing former SNL’er Andy Samberg, Cameron Diaz and Jerry Seinfeld. In the end, Levine ended up with his shirt off.

The overall tone of Adam’s sketches where, erm, gay. I mean heavily. Starting with the hilarious talk-show sketch Circle Work alongside Kenan Thomas where the two homosexual hosts dished out gay advice to straight people. They even convinced Jason Sudekesis’ character that was in fact gay. And can I say that Levine played the part really well. The gay themes didn’t stop there. In the sketch Firehouse Incident, Bill Hader took on the role of a jealous ex-boyfriend who loses his mind over Levine hitting on his ex-girl from 9 years ago whom he dated for two weeks. Hader’s character was an overly dramatic homosexual and was really hilarious.

But the icing on last night’s cake was the sketch Adam and Janet where SNL player Bobby Monahan donned a ginger wig and glasses as a Yonker’s living, Maroon 5 fan who fed Levine a few pills to take him home with her. Check out a majority of Adam’s skits below and vote in the poll on which was your favorite Overall, I thought Adam gave a strong performance minus that awful music throw down/rumble with Train, Jason Mraz and John Mayer. Definitely the weakest of the night. Did you watch SNL last night? How did you think Adam did? Share your thoughts below.
