In this week’s Fitness Tip, Mike talks to you about Pushups, Dumbbells & Balls. Essential, we’re taking regular pushups and taking them to the next level.
Pushups already engage your triceps & chest, among other muscles, but the following exercises (as demonstrated in the video to follow) will get you using other muscles and pushing yourself even more.
In this week’s Fitness Tip, Mike shares a few exercises with you for your core and your abs. As he mentions, for a lot of people that have back pain, it’s often the result of a week core, so it’s important to keep it strong. Crunches only hit the surface/superficial layer of the abs. It’s still important to focus on the core as a whole.
Start using these exercises today (or tomorrow)!

In this week’s Fitness Tip, most importantly, Mike goes shirtless.
Aside from that, he also talks about two exercises for the chest, that you’ve probably never tried before. Mike always encourages you to do exercises that use more of your body – combination exercises, and these two are no exception.
These are two of his favorite exercises for the chest, the first one using a stability ball:

Usher’s video for “There Goes My Baby” was just released today and it is hot, hot, hot, yet a bit of a bore at the same time. A slower song as you know, the sensuality of the song from his Raymond v. Raymond album is definitely complimented by the sensuality in the video. A shirtless Usher rocks out his pecs & abs in the steamy video for his fourth single on this album. The song is currently at #34 on the Hot 100, but with this latest video, I’m sure the song will climb higher up on the charts as he makes fans heart rates rise.
The simple, yet passionate video was directed by Anthony Mandler, who did Usher’s video for “OMG”, Rihanna’s sexy woman on woman “Te Amo”, and Christina Aguilera’s upcoming music video for “You Lost Me,” among so many other big time artists. This guy is in demand for sure.
There are some great shots in the video (ie. Usher pulling himself up hanging from an edge, up to kiss his “baby”), but I think it was missing something to pull it all together. Either that, or just more shirtless Usher would have done the trick. What do you think?

Persie lives in London with his Moroccan-Dutch wife Bouchra, along with their son Shaqueel & daughter Dina Layla.

Persie hasn’t been scoring as regularly as he usually does in this year’s World Cup, having only scored one. Below he talks about this, as well as his reaction to being substituted in the 81st minute of the game against Slovakia. It’s really been getting to him and he hopes to at more before the tournament is up.
If you are, like the majority of the homorazzi, a Battlestar Galactica fan you will already be familiar with the character “Apollo” Lee Adama played by Jamie Bamber. This past week Jamie was fighting for a different cause here on earth with his participation in the PeTA campaign to end cruelty toward Bears.
When Jamie learned how Canadian black bears are killed to make the Queen’s Guards’ ceremonial caps, the British-born actor jumped at the chance to help.
“I initially decided to do the PeTA ad because a great friend of mine in L.A., Lucy Davis, had just done a similar ad, and I love Lucy and it was a cause I didn’t know about — I’ll be honest. So as soon as Lucy opened my eyes, I was thrilled to join her and do my bit.”
The homoerotiscm of Battlestar Galactica has been a decided feature of the series since its reincarnation in 2003. If you haven’t already rented the DVD or watched the series on Sci-fi get into it… You won’t be disappointed! Just start at the beginning and tell your friends to keep their mouths shut.
