A week after debuting her single, “Good For You,” Selena Gomez premieres the accompanying visual. Just like the track itself, the 22-year-old singer keeps it relatively simple. It’s just plenty of glamour close-up shots of Selena lying on a couch and getting doused with water. The stripped-down approach is perfect for the slinky track.

Though he’s featured on the single, A$AP Rocky is nowhere to be found in the clip. In fact, his rap verses are shortened. An interesting strategy to say the least.

“Good For You” is the first single off Gomez’s upcoming album for her new label, Interscope Records. I can’t wait to see what else she has in store for us. Check out Gomez’ new video below.

Transitioning to adulthood is challenging for any child star. Some come balls out (literally), letting everything all hang out as part of their reinvention. Selena Gomez has actually done it without going the hoochie route. Her new single shows off a mature sexy sound without coming off at all trashy.

Good For You” is her first new offering since leaving Disney’s Hollywood Records. It’s the lead cut off her forthcoming studio album due out later this year via Interscope Records. The A$AP Rocky-assisted track is a perfect blend of R&B and slinky electro pop. It’s quite refreshing. Give it a listen below.

After a seemingly endless parade of Sin City-esque promo posters, Taylor Swift finally debuted her star-studded “Bad Blood” music video. Practically everyone in Hollywood was in it, except the person who reportedly inspired the track- Swift’s frenemy Katy Perry. Was it worth the hype? Yes and no.

Once again, director Joseph Kahn (“Blank Space”) delivers a highly-slicked produced visual. However, given the roster of famous faces involved, I expected a short film with more of a narrative. Instead, it seemed like a treatment for the all-female action flick, The Expendabelles. Speaking of which, if producers find themselves stuck with casting, half of these ladies would be perfect for the Expendables spin-off.

The clip begins with Swift and Selena Gomez teaming up for a heist, before Gomez backstabs her. Taylor then goes through some sort of high-tech boot camp to hone her skills. In the end, Swift along with her female brigade face-off against Gomez in another battle royale.

Joining Swift in the clip are models Cara Delevingne, Gigi Hadid, Karlie Kloss, Lily Aldridge, Martha Hunt, actresses Hailee Steinfeld, Jessica Alba and Serayah along with fellow musicians Ellie Goulding, Zendaya, and the aforementioned Gomez.

My favorite parts though featured the veterans including Cindy Crawford, Mariska Hargitay and Ellen Pompeo. The latter two might seem out of place, but Taylor has two cats named after their TV alter egos- Olivia Benson and Meredith Grey.

Check out Swift’s “Toxic”-ish (Britney Spears) video below and weigh in afterward.

I’ve been on the fence since first hearing “I Want You To Know.” At times I like it and at other times I’m just meh. I just wish it was something that wowed me from the onset. Clearly, I’m in the minority. The EDM track is already a Billboard Hot 100 Top 20 hit. I will say though, the newly-released music video has me rethinking my stance. I’m a sucker for a glossy visual.

Selena Gomez channels her inner disco diva and heads to the club for the colorful music video. There’s not much of a narrative but oh well. She looks flawlessly glamorous which I suppose was the main objective.

The strobe-filled clip finds the 22-year-old singer showing off her dance moves in vintage form-fitting clubbing attire. Zedd appears sporadically popping up at the club looking dapper in a tuxedo. Just in case you were wondering, Zedd and Selena are being dubbed Zeddlena by their fans.

“I Want You To Know” is the lead cut off Zedd’s forthcoming sophomore studio album and is expected to appear on Selena’s first album with her new label, Interscope. Check out the fun clip below.

If the reports are true, Selena Gomez is finally over Justin Bieber and has moved on. #thankgod!!! The 22-year-old singer is now romantically linked to Russian-German music producer, Zedd. Good for her. Not only is the DJ not so douchey but he’ll be beneficial to her recording career.

The rumored couple has teamed up for “I Want You To Know.” It’s clear that these two not only have chemistry out of the recording studio but in it as well. With that being said, the track, while upbeat and fun to listen to, brings nothing new to the EDM genre. It’s no “Clarity” and not even Zedd’s last big hit, “Break Free” with Ariana Grande, but still, a pleasant listen and should do damage on the charts.

“I Want You To Know” will be featured on Zedd’s forthcoming second studio album. Though Zedd produced and wrote the track, reportedly, Ryan Tedder assisted as well. Give the tune a listen below.

Whenever you hear the term ‘baby prostitute‘ from Mean Girls, do you think of Selena Gomez or Ariana Grande? For me, the 22-year-old baby-faced “The Heart Wants What It Wants” singer immediately comes to mind. ‘Human cupcake‘ is a far more apt description for Grande, don’t you think?

Like so many former child stars before her, Gomez goes topless on a magazine cover to show she’s all grown up. Photographer duo Inez & Vinoodh snapped the editorial for V magazine. Check out more photos below, along with more quotes from the accompanying interview conducted by James Franco.

On Her Next Boyfriend

“I think the next time [I have a boyfriend] will be much different…which will definitely not be anytime soon. That’s a growing up kind of thing. I was 18 years old, and it was my first love. The older I get, I’m guarding certain things more.”

I wouldn’t say Thursday night’s results were shocking, but definitely surprising. I can’t believe the truly awful acts advanced, let alone escaped the bottom three. Instead, the ones that were cut were actually acts that didn’t make me cringe whenever they performed. What was America thinking? Check out all the results below, the Save Me sing-off and performances by Selena Gomez and Fifth Harmony.

Last week, Flaunt unleashed a stunning editorial featuring Selena Gomez. While I prefer Selena with longer locks, the bob wig is a nice change of pace. It gives her an edge that suits the fashion spread perfectly. The publication just unveiled an accompanying short film directed by Victoria Mahoney which was also shot on location at the iconic Rosslyn Hotel in Downtown Los Angeles. Check out the “Come & Get It” singer getting cozy with Shiloh Fernandez below.

On Lorde Dissing Her Song ‘Come & Get It’

“That’s not feminism. [Lorde is] not supporting other women. That’s my honest opinion, that’s what I would say to her if I saw her. I actually covered her song in all of my shows that I’ve done so far. I’m not sure if I’m going to continue that.”
