For those worried that Revival would consist only of slow tempo tracks like “Good For You” and “Same Old Love,” you need not worry. Selena Gomez has a few bangers lined up as well. The 23-year-old singer just shared one of those uptempo offerings in full.

Me & The Rhythm” was co-written by Selena and features melodic beats ready to dominate the clubs. There are some fantastic 80s vintage undertones in the bassline which I absolutely adore. By far, it’s my favorite track thus far off Gomez’s new era. I really hope the ‘buzz single‘ gets a music video treatment.

In other Selena-related news, the pop star revealed she’s hitting the road to promote her forthcoming album. Concert dates will be unveiled next week on Monday, October 5. In the meantime, check out her new gem below.

After the one-two punch of “Good For You” and “Same Old Love,” the 23-year-old singer finally picks up the pace with the latest taste off her forthcoming album, Revival.

I was starting to worry, there wasn’t going to be an uptempo offering among the bunch. “Me & The Rhythm” comes from the Swedish duo of Mattman & Robin and based off the snippet, it sounds like another winner from Selena.

In other Gomez-related news, the pop starlet wowed with a recent live performance of “Good For You.” Dressed in a stunning white dress, she gave her best live vocal of the Top 5 hit yet on Le Grand Journal. Check it out below, along with a preview of her new promotional track.

Selena Gomez Debuts ‘Same Old Love’ Music Video

In: Donovan, Music

During her current era, Selena Gomez is reaching new heights. The lead A$AP Rocky-assisted “Good For You” broke the Billboard Hot 100 Top 5 this week, giving Selena her highest-charting track to date.

The second track, “Same Old Love,” off her forthcoming studio album Revival should do equally as well, if not better. Gomez previewed parts of the music video to her fans at an event last week. After that, she filmed live performance to finish up the clip.

“This song represents the many cycles of love and it was important that the video showed different examples of love,” Selena said in a statement. “Plus, I got to surprise my fans by including them in it which made it even more special for me.

The “Same Old Love” visual directed by Michael Haussman finds Gomez driving around a rainy Los Angeles day. Along the way, she observes couples in varying degrees of bliss or turmoil. Eventually, she ends up at the Palace Theatre to perform for her fans. The narrative is a bit odd, but at least it’s not cookie cutter. And naturally, she looks flawless. Check it out below.

Gee, I wonder who she’s singing about ;) You know what they say about assuming things, but I’d bet good money it’s about a certain floppy-haired Canadian singer.

Selena Gomez just released the latest taste off her forthcoming album, Revival– her first with her new label, Interscope Records. Charli XCX, Benny Blanco, Ross Golan and Stargate are believed to be the creative minds behind “Same Old Love.”

It’s bit of an unexpected sound from the 23-year-old, but I like it. Like “Good For You,” it’s more of a mature sound, but unlike that hit, I’m immediately gravitating towards this track. This has all kinds of potential. Give it a listen below.

Nick Jonas surprised his fans over the weekend by debuting a new track. What’s surprising is it’s an unfinished demo. The 22-year-old even admits it’s not complete because he needs “someone to put a verse on this..” I wonder who Nick is hoping collaborates with him on the sexy new track.

Another interesting fact about “Area Code,” is that it seems to reference Selena Gomez and her hit single “Good For You.” The two Disney stars previously dated back in 2008. “You say I never been good for you, You can’t deny I gave it good to you,” Jonas sings on the R&B jam. Check out Nick’s new offering below.

Taylor Swift ended her final night at Los Angeles’ Staples Center with a bang.

Throughout her 1989 World Tour, numerous artists have joined Swift on stage, either to perform or to sashay down the runway during “Style.” But T-Swizzle outdid herself this time around. And I’m not talking about her duets with Selena Gomez and Justin Timberlake either. Rather, it was another particular ‘friend’ that took the cake. Lisa Kudrow armed with a guitar surprised everyone with a duet performance of “Smelly Cat” with Taylor.

Are you kidding me?!?! Phoebe effing Buffay. I would’ve died had I been in the audience. I’m a huge Friends fan. Clearly, Swift is as well. Plus, it’s no secret Taylor loves her cats. She has one named Olivia Benson and another called Meredith Grey. Check out the epic performance below.

When Selena Gomez initially released “Good For You” it featured a rap verse from A$AP ROCKY. However, when the music video premiered, it noticeably left out the 26-year-old rapper. Inexplicably, two months later, an alternate visual including ROCKY has debuted. Random!!! Hasn’t the song already come and gone?

The new version includes all of Gomez’s parts where she’s writhing on a couch, showering and hanging out at some warehouse. A$AP performs his verses while a projector shows images of Selena and other random visuals on the wall. Check out the clip below.
