Not surprisingly, Logo has told RuPaul and her addictive reality show, “Shantay, you stay.” RuPaul’s Drag Race has been renewed for a ninth season. The news comes on the heels of Ru snatching her first ever Emmy nomination for Outstanding Host for a Reality of Reality-Competition Program. It’s about friggin’ time.

The network also announced it’s given a greenlight to a new docuseries set in Fire Island. The series comes from Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos’ Milojo Productions. Read below to learn the premise of the reality show.

Start your engines folks. There’s going to be plenty of shade during this summer. Logo just revealed all the queens returning for the second installment of RuPaul’s All Stars Drag Race.

“The girls dropped whatever they were doing to do this,” RuPaul told EW.com. “We’ve got a hundred girls now, so we could pretty much do All Stars forever.”

Surprisingly, there are only 10 alums returning to compete again. I naturally assumed there would be 12 like the first season. Season 5 is the most represented with four cast members. The most old-school alum, Tatianna, comes from Season 2

“The world needs these queens now more than ever,” declared RuPaul. “We take great pride in providing a platform for our all stars to shine bright. Because fierce is fierce is fierce is fierce is fierce is fierce.”

Season 2 of All-Stars kicks off with a supersized 90-minute premiere on August 25. Check out the entire cast below. Be sure to weigh in on which queen will snatch the elusive crown and title of “America’s next drag superstar” this go-round.

Going through RuPaul’s Drag Race withdrawal? Fear not. MTV is here to fulfill your shady needs.

It’s that time of year when high schools across the land prepare to hand out their annual yearbooks. Remember those ‘Most Likely’ awards featured in them? Well, MTV does and decided to interview a handful of Drag Race alums to participate in a fun game.

They asked the likes of Adore Delano, Katya, Courtney Act, Sharon Needles, Jinkx Monsoon, Violet Chachki and even judge Michelle Visage to hand out some shady ‘Most Likely’ honors. Watch below to see who ended up receiving the most nods.

A new episode of RuPaul’s Drag Race airs tonight and I can’t wait. After not keeping up with the competition reality series for the past couple of seasons, I’ve returned. The 100th episode lured me and now I’m invested.

As always, sprinkled with all the drag competitors are Ru’s Pit Crew. They show up every now and then to grace us with their oiled-up torsos. God bless.

If you’ve ever been curious about them beyond their muscles, check out the first webisode of the season. It’s sorta like Untucked with them as the focus, but much shorter 😉

Every week without fail, RuPaul slays the runway of her reality show. The 55-year-old drag icon serves up eleganza to the nth degree.

With RuPaul’s Drag Race celebrating it’s milestone 100th episode with the Season 8 premiere, Ru is taking a trip down memory lane. All her looks from the main stage runway from Seasons 1-7 are featured in her “U Wear It Well” music video. It’s a drag fashion history lesson you don’t want to miss.

“I put on dresses and wigs and pretend to be a life-size plastic person: you love it or you hate it.”

A quotation from Trixie Mattel that says it all.

Trix- as I like to call her- of Season 7 RuPaul’s Drag Race was a stand out from the very beginning. I loves me a funny girl and this Wisconsin lady never ceased to provide entertainment on the small screen as we rooted for her to take it towards the top. She was dropped in Episode 4 in one of the most controversial RPDR moments and was so good she was given a second chance at the title. While she didn’t win 1st place, she was absolutely successful at propelling herself onto the drag scene and her latest work, titled “Ages 3 and Up“, is happening Saturday, February 27 at club XY in Vancouver. And, I can’t wait to see the one WOMAN show!

From Season 1 champ BeBe Zahara to reigning queen Violet Chachki, every single RuPaul’s Drag Race winner convened for an epic photo. That’s a whole lot of fierceness!!! I’d love to see an All-Winners Edition of RuPaul’s Drag Race. Anyone else agree?

The stunning portrait, featuring RuPaul in the middle, was released by Logo to tout the premiere of RPDR Season 8 which begins on March 7. Reportedly, all the winners will somehow be involved with the first challenge on the premiere, which also happens to be the show’s milestone 100th episode.

Check out the full photo below, along with the extended teaser trailer recently released by the network. This season’s celebrity guest judges include Nicole Richie, Gigi Hadid, Marc Jacobs, David and Amy Sedaris, Debbie Harry and Chris Stein of Blondie, Ester Dean, Faith Evans, Jamal Sims, Chanel Iman, Todrick Hall, Thomas Roberts, Tasha Smith and Vivica A. Fox.

During the New Now Next Honors earlier this week, LOGO took the opportunity to reveal the cast of RuPaul’s Drag Race Season 8. It’s about friggin’ time 😉

The premiere will be a supersized 90-minute extravaganza on Monday, March 7. As it turns out, the premiere also marks a drag milestone as it features the 100th episode and 100th drag queen to sashay into the work room. Expect an unpredictable season full of head-turning twists.

“This is an amazing time to be producing television,” said executive producer RuPaul Charles. “The fact that ‘RuPaul’s Drag Race’ is celebrating its 100th episode is undeniable proof that there is an insatiable hunger for authentic, unfiltered and ribald voices that not only challenge the norm, but help redefine mainstream media.”

The drag queens will be competing for a $100,000 cash prize and more importantly, the coveted title of “America’s Next Drag Superstar.”

The ones that made a solid first impression for me right away include Kim Chi, Naomi Smalls, Acid Betty and Derrick Barry. If you’ve been to Las Vegas, you’ll recognize Barry. Girlfriend does a sensational Britney Spears impersonation. If she makes it to the Snatch Game, you just know Barry will bring out his best Brit. Meet all the 12 fierce queens vying for your hearts this season.
