The first two rounds of our Sports Stud 2012 Showdown have wrapped up, with two new finalists being added to the final showdown. In Round 1, Lance Parker took the top spot, with who happened to be my first Sports Stud of the year in 2012. In second place was sexy volleyball player, J.P. Calderon whom you know best from Survivor. Last week, the voting for Round 2 was in full swing, with Olympic gymnast Jake Dalton taking the lead and diver David Boudia just barely making it into second ahead of some close competition.
Check out all of the Sports Studs from the third round below. Whichever two studs get the most votes will move onto the final round, kicking off a week from today. Happy voting!
Sports Stud Showdown Dates:
The Top 2 from each round automatically advance to the finals. Four wildcard spots will be given to the athletes who garnered the four highest vote totals from all rounds tabulated (winners excluded).
For this week’s Sports Stud, I decided to highlight NFL hottie, Rob Gronkowski who is currently on the cover of Muscle & Fitness magazine for the October 2012 Issue. The 23-year-old is a tight end (hehe) for the New England Patriots and is a towering 6’6″ and 265 lbs. In June of this year, “Gronk” signed a six-year, $54 million contract extension which included an $8 million signing bonus, but leaves the 2012 and 2013 seasons of his rookie contract intact. Not too shabby!
He has so many hot pictures which I’ve included below, but one of my favorite things I’m sharing with you is in the form of a video. When ask who he’d “Marry, Bury, or F*ck” between Tim Tebow, Betty White and Rex Ryan, he chose to eff Tebow so he could take his virginity! Hot! Check out the pictures and his funny comment below.
ESPN just unveiled the 2012 edition of their popular “Bodies We Want” issue. It’s definitely my favorite from the publication. Truth be told, it’s the only one I check out from the magazine. What can I say, I’m not a diehard sports addict. Whether you watch sporting events religiously or just the thought of sitting through a round of golf bores you to death, you’ll appreciate ESPN’s ode to the human form. Who doesn’t love looking at well-chiseled hard bodies?
Once again, they’ve rounded up athletes from various sporting disciplines. Whether they’re hitting home runs, sinking a hole in one, sailing, or riding a horse, the issue proves you can have a hot body no matter what sport you dedicate yourself to. 23-year-old New England Patriot Rob Gronkowski, received the honor of gracing the cover of the Body Issue. I don’t blame them for giving it to Gronk. That boy is one sexy “tight end“. He’s so fine.
Other athletes we’ve been fans of for several years are also included in the issue. Ashton Eaton, Danell Leyva, Carlos Bocanegra have all been featured here on Homorazzi.com previously. Check out a few of my favorite pics from the issue. I know they’ll motivate me to hit the gym harder and more regularly… like once a month ;)
The other day, Fox revealed their new celebrity dating show, “The Choice“, debuting this summer. It’s “The Voice” meets “The Dating Game” sprinkled with a little “So You Think You Can Dance” courtesy of Cat Deeley. The British host will be serving double duty this summer for FOX by returning to SYTYCD and hosting this new reality guilty pleasure.
So what is “The Choice“? It’s your opportunity to go on a date with a “celebrity”. The six-episode series will feature singles pitch themselves as the ideal love connection to celebrity bachelors/bachelorettes who are seated with their backs turned to them a la “The Voice” during the blind auditions. If more than one celebrity turns around, the non-famous single person will get to choose who they want. From there, it goes to some sort of “Speed Choice” round, but I’ll wait for Cat Deeley to describe that part when the show airs. This post is to reveal all the celebrities involved.
Appearing on the show are 20 male celebs and 4 female ones. They range from professional athletes, to reality stars to actors. If you’ve ever wanted to date Mike “The Situation”, Olympian Jeremy Bloom or middle child Joe Jonas, then “The Choice” is the “choice” for you. Check out all the stars willing to sell themselves out for some television airtime. Truth be told, there are actually a couple of hotties. I’d even sign up for an opportunity to win them over.
