The last time Cameron Diaz co-starred with Jason Segel, they created magic with Bad Teacher. The comedy raked in over $216 million worldwide with just a $20 million budget. It was such a hit, CBS is adapting the film for an upcoming sitcom debuting later this month. Diaz and Segel reunite for what appears to be another smash.

In the first red band trailer for Sex Tape, the two play a married couple with a less-than-exciting sex life. To spice things up, they film a sex tape. Instead of deleting it, Segel accidentally uploads it to their iCloud. Unfortunately for them, Segel isn’t well-versed with the technology. “Nobody understands the Cloud,” shouts a frustrated Segel. “It’s a f—ing mystery!”

As a result, everyone they gave iPads to at Christmas has access to their intimate moment. They frantically hunt down every device before their relatives and close friends witness their three-hour lovemaking session. Or in the words of a friend, where Diaz gets “Lincoln’d.”

Helming the R-rated comedy is their Bad Teacher director, Jake Kasdan. Ellie Kemper, Rob Corddry, Rob Lowe, and Jack Black round out the cast. Sex Tape arrives in theaters on July 25. Watch the hilarious trailer below.

Adam’s Hilarious Jewish Movie Pick: In a World

In: Adam, Movies
in-a-world-movie-review

Now this is one funny movie. Basically a sitcom premise for the big screen, In a World follows the neurotic and unaware of her own gorgeousness Lake Bell as she attempts to break into the apparently very male dominated arena of trailer movie voice overs. You know, the guys who say: “In a world where men and women have to fight for survival etc etc..” Well, apparently this “world” is quite commanded by sexy sounding men who do NOT want to give up any screen time to a lady. Lake Bell takes issue with this. The daughter of one of the most famous movie voice over artists, Lake lands job after job as she burrows into this exclusive career to the dismay of her coworkers and acclaimed father.

An odd but fun premise for a movie, the real meat is in the relationships Lake has with her family, her clients and the odd duck who has a crush on her. Lake plays alongside some C-List names including Fred Melamed, Rob Corddry and Michaela Watkins who all play comedy to the max in their respective roles. Each character seems completely consumed by their own world and issues to the dismay of everyone else around them, but in classic american film style: deep down everyone is essentially a good person and cares for one another. It’s sweet, it’s damn funny and it’s definitely gonna give you a laugh: watch this one with a date.

The red band movie trailer for an upcoming comedy/horror called Rapturepalooza and we’ve got your first look below. It’s quite a bizarre film and I’m not sure what I think of it yet, but I love Anna Kendrick and some of the others that star in the film so I’ll definitely give it a shot.

The film centers around two teens that battle their way through a religious apocalypse on a mission to defeat the Antichrist, played by Craig Robinson (The Office). The film is best described as Zombieland meets The Big Lebowski. Other famous faces in the film include John Francis Daley, Thomas Lennon, Ana Gasteyer, Ken Jeong and more.

Check out the trailer below. The movie is expected to be released later this year, although no date has been set yet.

The first four minutes of an upcoming movie called Warm Bodies has been released and it’s definitely worth checking out! The film stars Nicholas Hoult, whom we first got to know in About A Boy, and later in A Single Man. He’s also the star of Jack The Giant Slayer and will also be reprising his role as Hank McCoy / Beast in X-Men: Days Of Future Past.

In Warm Bodies, Hoult stars as R, a zombie who becomes involved with the girlfriend of one of his victims. Their romance sets in motion a sequence of events that might transform the entire lifeless world. The first four minutes sets the scene for the film and gives you a good feel for what to expect. I wasn’t expecting to like it, but I was pleasantly surprised.

In addition to Hoult, the film also stars Teresa Palmer, Rob Corddry, John Malkovich, Analeigh Tipton, Dave Franco and Cory Hardrict. Check out the first four minutes of the film below!
