Friends’ Thanksgiving Episodes Ranked

In: Donovan, TV Shows

First and foremost, Happy Thanksgiving to all our US readers. Hope you’re not eating too much turkey today. Something I can never accomplish. I tend to overindulge big time during the holiday season.

To celebrate turkey day, I thought I’d rank Friends‘ Thanksgiving episodes. Their holiday-themed shows were typically their best and most anticipated of the season. Til this day, I still enjoy watching the classic NBC sitcom. Check out how I ranked the episodes below. To refresh your memory, I added a memorable scene from each. Enjoy!

The second the American Music Awards picked Jennifer Lopez to host the 2015 telecast, you just knew we’d be in store for multiple costume changes. The 46-year-old entertainer certainly didn’t disappoint. She rocked ten separate looks. Girlfriend didn’t mess around.

While there’s no doubt J. Lo can rock a garbage bag and make it look like haute couture, some of the outfits she wore on stage were more successful than others. Check out my ranking of my least to favorite looks Lopez modeled. Be sure to share your thoughts if you agree/disagree with my picks.

According to the annual Halloween Consumer Spending Survey, Americans will spend about $74.34 on Halloween-related expenses. That’s slightly down from $77.52 last year. All and all, the total spending is expected to reach $6.9 billion this year. That’s a whole lot of candy, costumes and decorations.

To celebrate the spooky holiday, WalletHub crunched numbers to determine which US cities are the best and worst places to celebrate Halloween. Using 16 key metrics including weather forecasts, party tickets, safety, costume stores and more, the website ranked the 100 largest cities in the United States. Find out which cities fared the best and worst after their detailed research.

On October 17, the Internet’s go-to destination for information on all things related to films, television and celebrities, turned 25. I can’t imagine life without it. I never have that nagging feeling now of not being able to figure out where I recognize a certain actor from.

“Over the course of 25 years, IMDb has evolved from my personal film diary to the #1 movie website in the world,” said Col Needham, IMDb’s founder and CEO. “Even as we celebrate our heritage, we are energized by our mission to bring the IMDb experience to every customer on every screen. Moving forward, our vision is that wherever customers are engaging with content, IMDb will be there enriching the viewing experience – from your local movie theater to your living room TV to your phone and everywhere in between.”

In honor of this milestone, IMDb revealed the Top 25 stars of all-time. These stars have consistently ranked highest on the IMDb weekly STARmeter chart over the past 25 years. The rankings are based on the actual page views of IMDb’s more than 200 million unique monthly visitors.

A few of the placements might shock you, including Pamela Anderson and Lindsay Lohan making the cut. The Baywatch actress ranking in the Top 5 certainly took me by surprise. Find out below who took the top slot along with the entire list.

Being the face of the revolution against President Snow pays.

Forbes reveals that Jennifer Lawrence is the highest paid actress over the past 12 months. At a whopping $52 million, she soars above her compatriots. No doubt a good chunk of that coin comes from The Hunger Games franchise. Her lucrative endorsement deals for brands such as Dior certainly pad her bank account quite nicely as well.

Coming in at the runner-up slot is Scarlett Johansson at $35 million thanks to The Avengers and Lucy. Rounding out the Top 3 is Melissa McCarthy at $23 million.

Last year’s top dog Sandra Bullock falls to No. 15 on this year’s list, earning $8 million according to the publication. Check out below which other actresses are laughing all the way to the bank.

There’s no denying that Max Martin has the ‘Midas Touch‘ when it comes to crafting hit singles. His resume includes countless of Top 10 singles, many of which have reached pole position on the Billboard Hot 100.

Recently, the prolific Swedish producer notched his 21st chart-topper with The Weeknd’s “Can’t Feel My Face.” Though Martin produces for both male and female acts, it’s his collaborations with the women that have yielded him the biggest successes. Katy Perry can thank Max for eight No. 1 hits while Taylor Swift and Britney Spears have four and three courtesy of his genius.

Check out my Top 10 favorite chart-toppers from Martin below. There’s no rhyme or reason. It’s just purely based on personal preference.

Ten years ago today would forever change the landscape of the Internet. YouTube was officially founded by three former PayPal employees. The first video, however, wasn’t upload until April 23, 2005 by one of the co-founders. If you’re curious, “Me At The Zoo” can still be viewed on the video-sharing website.

In honor of YouTube’s 10th anniversary, I’ve embedded the Top 10 viewed videos. The lowest garnering 796,000 to the cream of the crop with over 2 billion clocks. Not surprisingly, music dominates the list. Especially Katy Perry and PSY who both nab two entries each. The sole exception being “Charlie Bit My Finger – Again!.” Check out the most popular clips ever below.

Believe it or not, Rihanna just notched her 13th chart-topper. With her collaboration with Eminem on “The Monster,” the Bajan singer now ties Michael Jackson on the all-time list. Insane, right? Personally, singing just the hook on predominantly rap songs seems like cheating, but if it’s okay with Billboard, it’s fine with me. Even if you take away her rap collabos, she still has ten chart-toppers which is still quite impressive given her age.

Prior to placing third with MJ on the all-time list, she previously was in a three-way tie with Madonna and the Supremes for the fourth-most. Holding the record for most No. 1’s in Billboard’s 54-year history are The Beatles with 20 chart leaders. Mariah Carey with 18 is in the runner-up slot.

While Rihanna doesn’t sell as many albums as a few of her compatriots, there is no denying she’s a hit-making machine. Rihanna is definitely the poster child of today’s music landscape. With digital downloads making singles both affordable and easy to purchase, it’s all about singles these days and not so much about the album. All you need is a couple of hit singles and fill up the rest of the album with filler.

Very few artists these days carefully put out well-thought albums with great concepts and attention to the fluidity from track to track. Enough of me sounding like an old man reminiscing about the good old days, let’s check out all of Rihanna’s chart toppers. Be sure to scroll all the way to the end of the post to see my ranking of all her hits.
