Another year has already flown by and today we start a new one! In 2011, I decided to do a recap of my year through photos and I really enjoyed the process of reflecting on everything that I experienced over the year – so I decided to do it again this year. I noticed that Facebook implemented a feature that does just that this year as well – highlighting key moments from your year.
The funny thing is that I used to be the guy that barely ever took any pictures, but over the last several years, I’ve found that I take way more pictures – obviously social media has had a lot to do with this, as has Homorazzi. You’ll also notice some of my photos have filters and that’s because I used Instagram a lot more this year.
I’ve broken down my year month-by-month and included a little montage of pictures from that month along with a little description. Happy New Year, everyone!
Its that dreaded time again. Elimination night. Last week, Mike Catherwood became the season’s first casualty when he was eliminated from the competition. Last night, the stars hit the floor with dances that reflected personal stories in their life. We heard of love, loss, triumph and celebration, but tonight, we close the chapter on someone’s story, but who will it be?
Len thought last night was fantastic. There were spills, thrills and the leaderboard was totally shook up. He said some of the routines were fabulous and stood out. Len picks Hines Ward and Kym Johnson to re-perform their sexy Samba from last night. But before they perform, Tom lets the two know that they are safe for another week.
Sugar Ray Leonard and Romeo are first to hear their fate. Sugar Ray had a fighting Paso Doble and Romeo did a touching Rumba for his fallen cousins. Len loved Sugar’s comeback Paso but thought that Romeo took a step backward in improvements this week. So who’s safe? Its Sugar Ray and Anna. Psych. Romeo and Chelsie are also safe this week.
Last week, viewers didn’t pick up the phone and hung up the Love Line on Mike Catherwood making him the first casualty of the season twelve. This week, the stars were able to choose their own music and tell their own personal stories through their dances. This was also great for the pros who could also pick from a variety of dance styles and weren’t locked into choosing between one or two.
Because we haven’t seen of the dances we are about to encounter, the Dancing With The Stars troupe takes to the floor to to show off what we are about to see. Tristan and Nicole are up first displaying a fiery Paso Doble. Ted and Peta take on the sexy stylings of the Rumba and Kiki and Oksana finish us off with a sassy Samba. We are in for a wild ride toinght.
Tom prefaces the night by saying we will experience stories of love, loss and celebration so without further ado, lets get started!
This fall, we have a lot of exciting changes happening with Homorazzi, and one of these changes will be implemented this weekend. We’ll be moving Sunday Submissions to Saturday, meaning that they are now called Saturday Submissions, and Sunday will be more of a Behind the Blogday where the cast focuses on writing more personal entries and sharing their own personal confessional or weekly recaps via webcam, should they be inclined to do so. Unscripted: Just the cast being themselves.
We are very excited to designate weekends on Homorazzi to getting to know our readers more, and getting to know the Homorazzi cast more.
