“I guess I picked the wrong day to serve waffles,” says Channing Tatum with a straight face. Forget what national security has to say, President Obama can take care of himself. It’s all about protecting recipes from those evil IHOP employees or as he calls them… Hoppers. Al-Qaeda has nothing on these pancake shilling terrorists.
Waffle House Down is a ridiculous, yet amusing, parody of Tatum and Jamie Foxx’s film, White House Down in theaters today. The clip appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live, the birthplace of Channing’s other hilarious offering, “Channing All Over Your Tatum.” Watch the 33-year-old actor fend off Hoppers with his killer waffles below. It’ll put a smile on your face. The elderly couple trying to have breakfast while mayhem ensues around them are adorable.
How much gayness can you put into one clip? Apparently quite a bit. Somehow Funny or Die was able to wrangle up every hilarious gay YouTube star for their Downton Abbey music video spoof. If you’re one of those who don’t understand the fascination with the slow-paced British period drama, you’ll definitely appreciate this clip titled “Snore.”
Using Madonna’s iconic hit “Vogue” as the beat, Willam, Drew Droege from those hilarious Chloe impersonation videos, Vicky Vox, Michelle Visage, Jonny McGovern and others swap out the lyrics to reference everything Abbey related. From its Christmas specials, multiple deaths and so forth, you’ll find it all in the clip.
If Madonna’s hit doesn’t turn your crank perhaps The Real McCoy’s “Another Night” will. A few bars of that dance classic are used in the bridge. Check out the latest FOD clip below which also features Mr. Neil Patrick Harris aka David Burtka and Stephen Guarino (EastSiders) to name a few. Enjoy.
I can’t with this. What I am about to post could very well one of the best YouTube clips that has ever been created.
We all know Mean Girls starring out favorite mess Lindsay (when she had a career), Rachel McAdams, Lacey Chabert & Karen, well someone has decided to do an updated Compton version and the result is pretty much youtube gold. In this version Cady Heron is from Korea when she transfers to a Compton high school. There she meets Janice and “Gaymian” played by Glee‘s Alex Newell, sees all the different cliques including the Black Barbies. All your favourite lines are in there but updated “You can’t twerk with us” “There is this one boy in my Ebonics class” and so one. I’m on my 5th time watching this in about an hour. The Halloween scene made me fall out of my chair.
Seriously you all need to take 5 minutes out of your day and watch this masterpiece. #splitsontress
I can honestly say, ALL my friends fall into at least one of the categories if not more. Believe it or not, there are a few douchey hipsters *cough* Nic *cough* ;) Doesn’t really say a lot about the company I keep, does it? Depending on the day (and amount of alcohol), I’m also guilty of these clichés.
Mikey Bolts and Josh Leyva (the sexy shirtless one) filmed a brilliant video describing the five archetypes of guys on Instagram. According to him, they are: the douchebags; hipsters; fitness guys; deep inspirational guys and wannabe gangsters. As all encompassing as his list is, he forgot the type that loves to photograph the meals they eat. You know what I’m talking about. Guilty as charged. Check out the clip below.
This post was originally written May 21, 2011, but since it’s Memorial Day for our US readers, I thought I’d recycle it. Personally, it’s my favorite one from Drew Droege’s clips. If you haven’t checked it out, you simply have to. If you have, why not give it another spin. Enjoy and Happy Memorial Day.
As you can see, it’s really not Chloe Sevigny but rather the fantastic Drew Droege. If you’ve never seen any of his Chloe impersonations, you’re missing out. My friend Dan from Seattle first introduced me to this online gem last year. Ever since, I’ve been hooked. Since Drew didn’t create a video celebrating our long weekend in Canada occurring this weekend, I thought I’d post this video in honor of that. And the fact Memorial Day is next week also made this post very timely.
In his past videos, “Chloe” has listed off her favorite things for “Summer” and “Birthdays”. For his new video, “Memorial Day“, the Chloe Sevigny impersonator recalls memories of Memorial Days past. Once again, the combination of random celebrities and past pop culture references had me howling out loud. Plus his side-hip pose delivery with his signature voice cracks me up. Check out the awesomeness that is Drew Droege aka Chloe below. You’ll never look at the real Chloe Sevigny the same way again.
Do you have any Abercrombie & Fitch clothing kicking around the house gathering dust? Hopefully the answer is negative. No self-respecting homo should have a logo tee from the brand in their closet since the early 2000s, especially all you 30+ ones. That’s right, I’m talking to you. Unless you’re in high school or early college, you have no business wearing A&F. I’ll give a pass for those pieces with very subtle branding on it. On the off chance that you do, here’s a brilliant and hilarious idea on what to do with it.
Greg Farber came up with a creative idea to change the brand’s image. His video is in response to Abercrombie & Fitch CEO Mike Jeffries’ ridiculous statement about how he doesn’t want “not so cool” kids or women who wear size large to wear his company’s clothes. As Farber points out in his video, this coming from a guy who looks like Biff from the Back to the Future flicks makes it all the more absurd. Watch Farber as he covers the company’s business practices and goes on a hunt for A&F clothes in vintage stores in hopes of donating them to skid row residents. Check out the clip below.
It’s recently come to my attention that it’s been a while since Drew Droege filmed one of his entertaining Chloe Sevigny videos. Thankfully, he realized this as well. Droege returns with another snippy and sharp-tongued clip. This time he combines pop culture references with his love for furry creatures. That’s right. It’s an ode to pets. Watch Drew channel his inner Jack Hanna as he works out his fierce outfits and accessories. Check out the recently-released clip below.
Have you seen those Dove “Real Beauty Sketches” commercials? It’s where women sit down with a forensics artist behind a white sheet to describe themselves. Then another person comes in to give their description of said person. The whole point of the campaign is to show women they’re more beautiful than they think. Regardless of gender, we truly our own worst critics.
A few parodies of the Dove creative have surfaced online. A few weeks ago, one showed men having an inflated opinion of themselves. They thought they looked like movie stars like Brad Pitt and George Clooney, but in reality they weren’t. As funny as that sketch was, this new #Balls parody is even funnier.
Only 4% of men around the world know how beautiful their balls are, according to the video description. Watch men discover that their soggy freckled balls are actually beautiful visions to behold. Check out the new parody below, along with the original Dove commercial.
