I’m totally on board with this whole without music‘ trend. Without the actual song playing in the background and sound effects amped up, music videos become brilliant comedic clips.

The latest artist to suffer through this treatment is Madonna for her colorful “Bitch, I’m Madonna” visual. The whole thing plays like a comedy-horror short film once the Diplo-produced beat is removed.

Madonna wrestling with the balloons and being choked, along with Chris Rock’s vocals are my favorite parts. Check out the brilliance below courtesy of YouTube user House of Halo.

First and foremost, Happy Father’s Day to all you dads out there. Hope you’re all being spoiled on your special day.

Dad bods are suddenly all the rage. Finally, men with less than a perfect bodies and have a little more meat on their bones are getting their due. Here are a couple of parodies celebrating full-figured dudes. Coincidentally, both are set to the tune of Taylor Swift’s “Bad Blood.” Check them both out below.

Must See Sketch: We Don’t Serve Gays

businesses-denying-gay-patrons

We’ve all heard stories about LGBT patrons being denied service for their sexuality. Perhaps, you’ve been on the end of such discrimination. Most often, religious beliefs are the go-to reasons as to their motives.

This spoof highlights exactly how silly businesses look when they refuse to serve the gays. Even though some reasons are outrageously ridiculous, they’re no more insane than actual ones dished out by bigots. Check out the clip below.

Anna Kendrick As A Female Indiana Jones?

In: Donovan, Movies
anna-kendrick-female-indiana-jones

Given Hollywood’s track record rebooting popular films with female leads like Ghostbusters and The Expendables, this doesn’t seem that far fetched. Anna Kendrick can do no wrong in my book, but wearing the archeologist’s signature hat and handling his whip would be a huge misstep. Thankfully, this is just a promo for NBC’s upcoming Red Nose Day special on May 21.

The Pitch Perfect actress plays Indianna Jones (note the spelling) in this cute parody. She recreates that memorable Grail Room scene from Indiana Jones and The Last Crusade. Does Anna pick the right cup or does she meet an untimely fate? Watch the video below and find out.

fifty-shades-of-black

I’m surprised something like this hasn’t been announced sooner. The erotic thriller is just begging to be poked fun at.

Marlon Wayans is hoping that his project becomes the first feature film to spoof Fifty Shades of Grey. According to the Hollywood Reporter, Wayans and his Haunted House director, Rick Alvarez, will be introducing Fifty Shades of Black to buyers at this year’s Cannes Film Festival which begins next week. The 42-year-old enthusiastically told the publication the following.

“Sex and comedy go hand-in-hand and I’m looking forward to having fun with this project. It’s amazing when a film of this caliber comes along begging to be made fun of. I’m really happy to be doing what I love with people I love to do it with. That double entendre was intentional.”

Did you enjoy Wayans’ Scary Movie spoofs? Does Fifty Shades of Black pique your interest? Weigh in below and check out the first piece of artwork.

It’s not the first time Todrick Hall has parodied Beauty and The Beast. Previously, everyone’s favorite animated bookworm sang and danced in the hood. This time, she’s been transported to the gaybourhood.

Belle bumps into a few gay celebs including RuPaul, Looking‘s Daniel Franzese, Lance Bass, Ross Matthews and Frankie Grande to name a few. Since it’s West Hollywood, naturally she encounters several local drag queens and plenty of shirtless gym rats as well. Check out Beauty and the Beat Boots below.

Amy Schumer Hilariously Parodies One Direction

In: Donovan, Music

Amy Schumer delivers yet another hilarious home run. The 33-year-old comedienne takes aim at the now-quartet boyband, One Direction, with her brand new clip.

Schumer uses their single “What Makes You Beautiful” off their debut LP, Up All Night, as inspiration. The English boyband infamously sang to their fans that they “don’t need make-up to cover up.” It appears that only applies to a certain few. In Amy’s case, more is more. The boys change their tune once they see her sans cosmetics.

Girl, You Don’t Need Makeup” is a cornucopia of LOL pop culture references. There’s so many, I can’t pick which are my favorites. It starts slow but clicks into high gear during the second verse. Check out all the fun below.

It’s no secret that Todrick Hall is majorly obsessed with Beyonce. Time after time, he’s paid homage to the “Drunk In Love” singer in several of his finely-crafted videos.

For his latest titled, “4 Beyonce from Todrick,” the YouTube sensation sings all five Beyonce albums in just four minutes. That’s over 70 songs. Holy commitment Batman.

“This took four single take performances of memorizing four different sets of lyrics & choreography (ironically this was filmed in four hours), and is exactly four minutes in length because of Beyonce’s connection to the number 4,” explains Hall.

It’s great to see that even though he’s filming his new reality show for MTV, he’s still uploading fantastic content on his YouTube channel. Check out his latest masterpiece below. TODRICK premieres on MTV on Monday, August 31.
