The newest brain child of friend of Homorazzi’s Mark Kenneth Woods, known for the Deb and Sisi series, premiered on OutTV two weeks ago, with the second episode just airing this week. This latest mini series follows a group of delinquent characters all vying to win the title of spokesman for their hometown in a television competition testing their, *ahem*, “skills”.
Premiering to mixed opinions, the comedy series actually does something that I haven’t seen OutTV do before, and new blood and fresh ideas on that network are always welcome in my books. With more extras on the internet than there is actual television show, after every episode you can go online to, for instance, watch the audition videos after the first episode, or catch the blogs the characters have created in a, mostly, disastrous attempt to win that grand prize. Not only do you get an entertaining show, you also can delve into the internet side of the show and get to know the characters a little more in a non-live “After Dark” style thing.
You’ve seen our show, you love/hate our show and now you could be a part of our show!

Having just aired on OUTtv last week, we’ve got the latest episode of our Homorazzi show to share with you and this one’s pretty funny. Given that it was a while ago that it was filmed, some of the content is a bit out of date but regardless, we’re pretty sure you’ll get a good laugh or two. The usual peeps make up the panel (From Left to Right: Tommy, Nic, Patrick and Adam.
In this episode, the cast talks about a few of their goals for 2013, as well as the latest in music, television, movies, and gay news. The cast also discusses their plans to attend WinterPRIDE 2013, which they did indeed end up doing this past weekend (stay tuned for pictures and video from the weekend).
Keep your eyes peeled for all of Adam’s eye rolls and one part where Patrick says something he didn’t intend to (something that sounded dirty but wasn’t supposed to) and the result is the whole crew bursting into laughter. Nic & Patrick have some serious trouble pulling it together after that.
Watch the episode below and subscribe to Canada’s LGBT television network OUTtv to watch new episodes as soon as they come out.
“It’s said that the best looking girls in Thailand… are men.” A new series on OUTtv called Ladyboys investigates gender-reassignment surgery in Thailand, following transsexuals as they challenge perceptions to achieve financial success in their chosen careers and fight national law to be officially accepted as women.
One familiar face on the series is Belle Nuntita. She took the world by storm when she auditioned on Thailand’s Got Talent. She first sang beatifully as a women, then took the audience by surprise by tapping into her deep, masculine voice revealing that she was transgender.
One of the Ladyboys explains, “My mind is not wrong, my mind is correct, but my body is wrong.” Around 1% of the Thai population are Ladyboys – men who use hormones and surgery to become females. It’s a very interesting show and if you haven’t check it out yet, you can watch the first two episodes of the series below.
A new episode of Homorazzi has been airing this week on OUTtv, but in case you’ve missed it or you don’t live in Canada, we’ve got it here for you to check out, witch cast members (from left to right) Tommy, Nic, Patrick, and Adam. We’ve also included our New Year’s Special, which aired on New Year’s Eve as well.
As you may recall, Nic was away in Hawaii for our last episode as well as for the New Year’s Eve special. In our newest episode, he may have been wishing he was still there because Adam seemed to be on his case the whole episode, catching Nic off guard by calling him out on some things that had recently happened (allegedly) in his personal life. Nic was not happy and ironically, this all went down while discussing the new Les Miserables film.
The panel talks about what they think about Ke$ha‘s new album, The Hobbit, This Is 40, the Gossip Girl finale and more. They also talk about how much they love the hilarious new web series, Willam’s Beatdown.
Last night (Wednesday), the season finale of DTLA aired but in case you haven’t seen it yet, we’re going to take a look at three of my favorite scenes from last week’s episode that I’m sure you’ll enjoy. Next week, we’ll do the same for the finale. As you may recall, in last week’s episode, Matthew’s (Patrick McDonald) play finally opens and the evening is filled with surprises… for everyone. *As a sidenote, did any of you see DTLA star Darryl Stephens on Two Broke Girls this week? Love that show!
In the first of my favorite scenes titled Plane Spotting, Waylon takes Lenny (Darryl Stephens) to a grassy patchy where they lay together and watch planes fly overhead. From there, then end up in the shower where they get super hot & heavy. Wow.
In the second scene called Lenny Wants To Get High, Lenny heads over to his nudist neighbors to see if he can score some weed and “take the edge off.” They invite him in and while smoking up, help him recognize where his stress is coming from.
Finally, in the third scene, SJ (Marshelle Fair) has had too much to drink and Kai (Hiro Tanaka) finds her passed out on the bathroom floor. He tries to help her get her sh*t together because her husband Norm has arrived. She is not in good shape. Check out all three scenes below and vote for your favorite. Two are NSFW just as a heads up.
This week, a new episode of Homorazzi aired on OUTtv (Episode 9 to be exact) and in case you missed it, we’ve got the full episode for you to check out below. Since Nic (one of our usual panelists) was away vacationing in Hawaii (stay tuned for coverage on that), Blue from OUTtv join in as a special guest!
As usual, the panel started off by tackling some of the latest Gossip and the most heated discussion took place on the topic of Rihanna & Chris Brown seemingly back in a relationship. The conversation then transitioned to Britney Spears & will.i.am‘s new “Scream & Shout” music video as well as comments on how she’s been doing on The X-Factor as a judge. Also discussed was Tegan & Sara‘s new “Closer” music video and we’d like to clarify that the Canadian indie rock duo are indeed both lesbians and twin sisters (despite some of the confusion discussed in the episode below – LOL).
In closing, they talk about the recent viral YouTube videos that started with “Gay Men Will Marry Your Girlfriends,” and a new gay British series worth checking out. Check out the episode below!
Last week, I shared with you two of my favorite sexy scenes from Episode 6 of DTLA. This week, I have three scenes from Episode 7 for you to check out and once again vote for your favorite out of the three. To lure you in, one of the scenes is called “Elevator Sex” Hmm… going down? Haha.
In the first scene titled “Brian Is Gone“, Lenny’s (Darryl Stephens) nudist/hippy neighbors come over to help lift his post-breakup spirits, while Brian (Matthew Stephen Herrick) has an emotional breakdown. In second scene titled “Elevator Sex,” Matthew (Patrick McDonald) & Marky (Scott Pretty) get hot & heavy when they go to explore the top of the elevator shaft (Something tells me that wasn’t the only shaft explored). Finally, in the third scene, Kai (Hiro Tanaka) is in the “Principal’s Office” to deal with the drama going on between him and one of his gay students. This is definitely one of the more intense scenes as Kai is falsely accused of some pretty serious things by both the student and subsequently his parents.
Watch the three clips below and vote for which one you like best. A new episode of DTLA airs on OUTtv tonight (Wednesday, December 8) and this coming Friday on Logo. Enjoy!
