On March 25, 2016 the Caped Crusader and Man of Steel battle it out in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. They’ll also have to contend with another major force- Nia Vardalos and her huge Greek family 😉

Opening the same day as counterprogramming will be My Big Fat Greek Wedding 2. The rom-com will most likely have to settle for second place at the box office, but should rake in the dough as well. After all, the first flick earned a whopping $368 million worldwide against a $5 million budget. Not a bad profit.

The first trailer for the long-overdue sequel just dropped. Fourteen years after they walked down the aisle, Vardalos and John Corbett are still together. From the looks of it, as happy as could be. They now have a teenage daughter about to go to college who’s struggling with her Greek identity. Speaking of all things Greek, prep yourselves for another huge Portokalos wedding. The couple getting hitched might surprise you. Check out the clip below to find out who’s say ‘I do.’

It’s been thirteen years since My Big Fat Greek Wedding charmed movie goers. A sequel for the 2002 romantic comedy sleeper hit finally heads into theaters on March 25, 2016 where it’ll face off against the highly-anticipated Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. Not very good odds for the Greek flick 😉

Nia Vardalos promises My Big Fat Greek Wedding 2 will be a ‘bigger’ and ‘fatter’ wedding. What she neglected to add was ‘buffer’ to the list. Her on-screen husband, John Corbett, certainly fits that adjective.

It’s as if no time has passed since the first film. The 54-year-old actor has definitely taken care of himself throughout the years. His body is one lean, mean fighting machine. Check out the shirtless photo shared by Vardalos from the set.

Law & Order: Special Victims Unit is one of the shows I should probably break up with. Fourteen seasons is a lot of time to invest on a drama. In my defense, it’s the only crime procedural I watch religiously. I never got into any of the CSIs, both NCIS series or other crime-solving franchises. That said, I’m really looking forward to Kevin Bacon’s The Following on FOX. That looks soooooo good.

Even though very little surprises me on the show anymore, there is something that keeps drawing me in. When Stabler (Christopher Meloni) left, it would’ve been an ideal time to bid sayonara, but my curiosity got the better of me. I wanted to check out the new additions. Surprisingly, I’ve grown to like both Det. Nick Amaro (Danny Pino) and Det. Amanda Rollins (Kelli Giddish). I’m sure I’m not alone with this sentiment and figured there might be a couple of you who might find this bit of casting news interesting. Find out upcoming guest stars below.
