Not going to lie. I picked Karlo Faggetter as this week’s Model Behavior pick mostly because of his last name. Sure, he’s one handsome guy, but it’s all about that surname. How awesome is it?
British-born Faggetter is relatively new to the modeling game. He was a finalist in last year’s Elite Model Look Singapore search. Since then he’s been building up his portfolio posing for photographers like Jasmine How and Skye Tan. With regards to the latter, Karlo appeared in an August Man editorial snapped by him. Check out the 6’0″ stud below. I personally think he looks better when he doesn’t straighten his naturally curly hair. See if you agree.
We’ve all seen what how handsome Brapanese (Brazilian & Japanese genes) men are. Now we can add another sexy concoction to the mix. Meet 20-year-old Simonas Pham. The striking Lithuanian-born stunner is of mixed Lithuanian and Vietnamese descent. With his defined cheekbones and adorable facial freckles around his cheeks and nose, he sorta reminds me of a male Lucy Liu.
Pham began his modeling career after attending an open casting with a friend. In his relatively short career, he’s fronted ad campaigns for Stone Island (S/S 2013) and Duckie Brown (F/W 2012). His runway credits include shows for Jeremy Scott, Bespoken and Public School. A few of his editorial work has appeared in Vogue Hommes Japan, GQ China, August Man, Open Lab and GQ Style Korea to name a few. Currently, he’s represented by Elite in London and Milan, and by ReQuest Model Management in New York. Check out Simonas’ portfolio below.
Ask and you shall receive. When I shared a fashion spread featuring Arran Sly, one of our readers suggested I highlight the British model in an upcoming Model Behavior post. Here it is. I’m glad I listened because Sly is way cuter than he appears in that editorial. It definitely didn’t do him justice.
Arran was born in 1993 in the UK. The blue-green eyed stunner was scouted by Elite Models in 2012. Since then, he’s landed major gigs including ad campaigns for Calvin Klein with Matthew Terry and Armani Exchange. His editorial credits include features in Tetu, Attitude, Style and Vogue Hommes Japan to name a few. Sly has walked for Louis Vuitton, Z Zenga and many more. It’s no wonder he’s ranked in the Top 50 on models.com. With the buzz building around Arran, I foresee a long lucrative career in his future. Check out plenty of photos of him below.
I honestly had such a dilemma on whether to highlight Thomas Davenport in my Model Behavior feature. Not because he’s not cute, because he’s totally adorable. But rather I couldn’t decided if I should give him to Patrick for Sports Stud or include him in my Man Crush series. Normally, he’s not my type but I find myself kinda crushin’ on him. I’m obsessed with his hair.
Davenport hails from Australia. Even though his comp card claims he’s blonde, I sense he’s more of a ginger. Just check out his armpits ;) Currently, he’s represented by Chadwick Models (Sydney) and Giant Management (Melbourne). When he’s not posing in front of the camera for clients like Levi’s, he’s a personal trainer and boxing instructor. Check out his portfolio below. If you like tattoos, strawberry blond hair and pale skin, Thomas is the man for you. Enjoy.
Obrigado and arigatou. I can’t think of a better way to express my gratitude for this sexy Brapanese (Brazilian-Japanese) model. Hideo Muraoka is the perfection combination from both nationalities.
Even though Muraoko was born in Sao Paolo, Brazil, he’s huge in Southeast Asia. Most notably in Thailand and in the Philippines. With regards to the latter, he’s appeared in numerous fashion publications including Men’s Health, Metro and Garage magazine. If you think Hideo is just a dimwitted model, he’s not. He’s posing in front of the lens while he studies law. I’d like to see this 25-year-old’s “gavel” ;)
Check out his portfolio below. You can definitely tell his Muay Thai kickboxing and capoeira skills does his body good. Hope you enjoy this week’s Model Behavior selection. If you have any future suggestions, please share them in the comments section.
I’ve been in an athletic state of mind ever since writing last week’s Sports Stud. That Tal Evans is all kinds of hotness. Since I picked an Australian athlete slash model for that feature, I thought I’d head back Down Under and pick a model slash athlete for today’s Model Behavior.
Meet Aussie Max Papendieck. This former collegiate basketball player is now an in-demand male model. He moved from his native Australia to the US for a basketball scholarship. He began modeling in Miami where he also completed his business degree. The 25-year-old has worked with renowned photographers like Greg Vaughan and Bruce Weber. In fact, the latter got him his first gig – an editorial in Spanish Vogue.
Papendieck has appeared in campaigns for Abercrombie & Fitch, Ralph Lauren fragrance Big Pony and worked with major department stores like Macy’s and Saks. Currently, he’s repped by Soul Artist Management. Check out plenty of photos of Max showing off his Fight Club-ready abs below.
Even though I promised more diversity in my Model Behavior feature at the beginning of the year, don’t mistake the inclusion of Andre Douglas as a sign of tokenism. This caramel stud is all kinds of sexy. I was half debating saving him for my Man Crush series instead. With his stunning face, body and height, it’s hard to imagine he had no interest in modeling. Thankfully after turning down multiple offers, the Wilhelmina model chose to follow his destiny to the fashion industry.
“Fortunately, I’ve been blessed in this industry to where I’m not struggling and I’m able to work with a wide variety of clients. But I do know that this journey and where I’ve made it is not owed to me by any means, so I take it as a blessing and I’m thankful every day”. – Andre Douglas in OUT Magazine
With his chiseled face and bad boy tattoos, Douglas is a favorite among designers. His classic All-American looks landed major campaigns with Abercrombie & Fitch, Levis, D-Squared and Barneys, but his bread and butter is with Tommy Hilfiger. The American designer has used Andre for multiple campaigns. His runway credits include strutting it out for DSquared2 and Nautica. His editorial work has appeared in Details, Essence and GQ. Check out plenty of pics of Douglas below.
His last name says it all. I’m pretty sure Kute isn’t pronounced “cute“, but for argument’s sake, let’s say it does. After highlighting a major player (Arthur Kulkov) in the fashion industry last week for my Model Behavior post, I wanted to sex it up this week. Cold showers were invented for people like Adrien Kute. Several glances at his portfolio will definitely heat you up.
I first noticed this French model when he appeared in a swimwear editorial for AXN magazine last year. Since then, Kute popped up in a couple of international gay publications- DNA and Sensitif- both of which were photographed by Simon Le. Most recently, he appeared in Pulse Denver magazine showing off his Baskit while working out. Check out Adrien’s portfolio below. Be forewarned, there are plenty of swimwear and underwear photos. I couldn’t help it because I could only find a handful of photos with him wearing clothes. No Lie.
