No matter who you are, regardless of star status, everyone has their fair share of fans and haters. Celebrities just have more than most. Star magazine compiled a list of twenty celebrities who have more people loathing them, than adoring them. Check out which controversial singers, self-promoting reality TV stars and pretentious actors made the list.
Naturally, Chris Brown made the cut. Ever since assaulting then-girlfriend Rihanna back in 2009, he’s been on many people’s hit list. His seemingly lack of remorse and douchey attitude hasn’t helped redeem his image. Surprisingly, the R&B singer lands at No. 20. Believe it or not, there are 19 other personalities more hated than him.
Kim Kardashian, whom I loathe, and mom-ager Kris Jenner only placed at 11th and 10th respectively. Anne Hathaway with her perceived faux humility and humbleness during the Oscar awards season earned her a No. 9 slot. Not even cheating Kristen Stewart with her surly and less-than-thrilled expressions snagged the top spot. She came up short in the runner-up slot. Find out who the “Most Hated Celebrity In Hollywood” is below and the rest of the Top 20.
Even though Anderson Cooper’s syndicated talk show is canceled, he’s still one hot commodity. Not only is the 45-year-old CNN reporter being eyed for one prestigious hosting gig, but two. Like they say, when one door closes, another one opens. In this case, it’s two.
According to Deadline.com, NBC executives have reached out to Cooper about taking over The Today Show when Matt Lauer’s $25 million contract expires in 2014. With Lauer receiving plenty of negative press since Ann Curry’s ouster and his approval ratings tanking, the peacock network clearly won’t be renewing his contract. The once mighty daytime talk show is consistently playing second fiddle to ABC’s Good Morning America. Obviously, NBC is looking to shake things up and regain the crown.
Even though Matt is on his way out, execs reached out to him for his blessing. Not surprisingly, he’s not happy about his possible replacement. Allegedly, he even contacted Cooper to express his disapproval which caught Cooper by surprise. Ummmm, when did Lauer become the biggest douche in the world? Perhaps, he’s acting all competitive because both him and Cooper are up for another high-profile gig. Find out which one below.
You’d think after the wardrobe malfunctions of Britney Spears, Paris Hilton, and the countless other celebrities that have accidently (or purposefully) flashed photographers while getting out of their limos and wearing short skirts that one would consider the possibility of vajajay exposure… especially if not wearing underwear.
At the premiere of Les Miserables in New York City on Monday night, Anne Hathaway became the latest celebrity to get her panties in a knot…correction, to not be wearing panties. The Devil [Doesn't] Wear
Prada Panties star was getting out of the town car in her Tom Ford gown when photographers got pictures of her “you know what”.
“It was devastating,” Hathaway told Vanity Fair. “I was getting out of the car and my dress was so tight that I didn’t realize it until I saw all the photographers’ flashes. It was devastating. They saw everything. I might as well have lifted up my skirt for them.” Hathaway was also on Today this morning with Matt Lauer where he asked her about the incident as well. Watch the interview below (and I’ve also included a link to the photo if you’re at all interested in seeing what all the fuzz fuss is about.
The sexy Matt Damon joined The Today Show host Matt Lauer for their “Social Q’s” viewer mail segment this morning where they tackled “How To Handle Awkward Holiday Situations.” Coincidentally, yesterday I wrote about Juicy Couture’s Dos & Don’ts for the holiday season as well.
The viewer question in today’s segment read, “My girlfriend is an excellent cook and really defensive. When she cooks, she tosses the salad with her hands without washing them and tastes everything with her fingers. It makes me feel a little sick. Can I fix this?” Well, Damon couldn’t resist being set up for a perfect joke. “That’s not what they told me about tossing salad,” he joked. Personally, I’m curious to know how exactly how much Damon knows about tossing the salad – wink ;)
So just to be clear in case you aren’t familiar with the phrase “tossing the salad” when it comes to bedroom slang… it’s oral-anal sex, otherwise referred to as Anilingus. I just wanted to make that clear so were were on the same page with how naughty (and funny) it was for Damon to say that on live television. Watch the “cheeky” clip below.
This morning, Donald Trump stopped by The Today Show with Matt Lauer to talk a little about politics, but mostly to talk about the cast for the upcoming All Stars Celebrity Apprentice, premiering in March 2013.
It’s a great mix of people this year and people are definitely bound to butt heads. One of the people I’m most excited about having back is Omarasa – not because she’s my favorite, but because she seems to bring the drama and tension into the show. Remember in the first season when she kept complaining about the fact that a chip from the ceiling fell on her head? I can just imagine how her and LaToya Jackson will clash. Oh, slip of the tongue – she’s back too!
Out of the fourteen cast members, only one former winner is returning and that is the 2010 champ Bret Michaels. Check out the full cast list below, as well as Donald Trump introducing them all back while they were all on The Today Show this morning (with the exception of two of them who couldn’t make it).
It looks like there is some dramz going on over at NBC’s morning staple, “The Today Show.” Back in December, I wrote about the possibility of Ryan Seacrest joining the morning broadcast to replace Matt Lauer. So far, the rumors have turned out to be false. Now, some grumblings are taking place once again at the network that another anchor may be getting the boot shortly. But who will it be?
Could Matt Lauer be on his way out the door once again and is Ryan Seacrest still a candidate? How about America’s trusted weatherman, Al Roker? Now that’s he’s lost all the weight, could he be moving on to different broadcast? Could it be Ann Curry who has recently replaced, Meredith Vieira on the morning’s talk show couch? Find out who could potentially be getting the boot and leaving the show this summer below.
Yesterday in a press release, it became official that Lindsay Lohan would be playing a young Elizabeth Taylor in the upcoming Lifetime biopic, ‘Liz & Dick‘. Of course given Lohan’s less than favorable real life drama that has played out in the media over the last several years, some are skeptical that she is up for the job or even capable of pulling it off.
One of these people is Rosie O’Donnell. Perhaps bitter that her show was canceled and people like Lohan are getting new opportunities, O’Donnell was on ‘Today‘ with Matt Lauer, Donny Deutsch, and Star Jones and felt very strongly that Lindsay Lohan was “not capable” of this role. “She’s had a lot of trouble doing every single movie, including ‘SNL.’ She was out and not in rehearsal. I think she’s not in a place to work.” She continued, “I feel sorry for her. I think she needs a lot of time away… I don’t think she’s right for the role, and I don’t think she’s capable at this point to portray that character.”
Watch the segment on ‘Today’ below and share your thoughts on Lindsay taking on this notable role.
When “Good Morning America” announced Katie Couric was returning back to early morning television to fill in for vacationing Robin Roberts, her former co-workers over at “The Today Show” were reportedly pissed. Looks like the NBC show staffers were rightfully worried about Katie’s week-long comeback to the format that made her into a star. Once unthinkable, GMA might have a shot at supplanting Today as the most-watched morning show last week.
The NBC morning show has been the No. 1 rated show for an unprecedented 852 weeks which is roughly about 16 years. The last time “Today” wasn’t top dog was back when Bryant Gumbel and Katie Couric were anchors with Matt Lauer as the news anchor. Over at GMA, Charles Gibson and Joan Lunden were the hosts. Preliminary ratings for last week indicate ABC has a shot of ending NBC’s streak. The margin separating the two shows is so razor-thin it’s too early to declare a winner. See just how close they are below.
