The first teaser trailer for the highly-anticipated Magic Mike sequel just debuted. While it doesn’t give away too much in terms of storyline, it does reveal plenty of scenes of Channing Tatum and company without their shirts. Let’s face it, that’s why we pay the price of admission.
The clip starts off with Tatum working in a metal workshop before busting out moves to Ginuwine’s “Pony” once again. After that, a montage of beach and clubs scenes follow showing the sexy antics Matt Bomer, Joe Manganiello and Adam Rodriguez experience on their road trip to a stripping convention.
Magic Mike XXL slinks into theaters on July 1, 2015. Amber Heard, Jada Pinkett Smith, Andie MacDowell, Elizabeth Banks, Donald Glover, Michael Strahan and Ellen DeGeneres’ sexy gardener Billy Reilich join the cast. Get your first look at the sexy sequel below.
After checking out this video from HBO, I realize I watch a lot of the network’s programming. From Girls, True Blood, The Newsroom, Behind the Candelabra and Game of Thrones, clearly I’m a fan. I should really consider purchasing some stock.
The network released a video highlighting some of their best programming from the past year. It also gives a preview of what’s to come in 2014. Included in that bunch is the highly-anticipated new series Looking.
In addition, we also have footage from Ryan Murphy’s adaptation of Larry Kramer’s Tony award-winning 1985 play The Normal Heart. It follows a group of gay men in New York in the 80s during the HIV/AIDS epidemic spread. It boasts a star-studded cast including Julia Roberts, Matt Bomer, Jim Parsons, Mark Ruffalo and Taylor Kitsch. Not sure how I feel about Taylor’s haircut and color, but I digress. The latter two are pictured in the photo above. The Normal Heart is scheduled to air in Spring 2014. Check out the video below.
“It’s a movie about AIDS, but it’s also really a civil rights movie,” says Ryan Murphy, who worked with Kramer on the script for three years. “I think it’s more timely than ever before. It’s really about the quest to be seen, not as a gay person or a straight person but just a person…. It’s an activist movie that also has a really great love story in it.” Adds the director, “Of everything I’ve done in my career, I think it is the biggest labor of love.”
He’s just so darn pretty. SIGH. Life’s just not fair sometimes ;)
Matt Bomer definitely knows his bread and butter. He knows he’s dashingly handsome in a suit. Recently, the White Collar actor released a fashion line including bow ties, suits and pocket squares inspired by his character on the show, Neal Caffrey. The 35-year-old is certainly becoming the fashion maven.
Adding to his fashion cred, Bomer pops up in the latest issue of DA MAN magazine. Photographed by Mitchell Nguyen McCormack, Matt’s spread is stylishly cool and relaxed. I love the blue blazer and plaid pant look. Soooo hot. Check out a few photos from his shoot, along with a few quotes where he discusses being a father, keeping sane in Hollywood and his next project.
Having a life outside of the business that grounds you. For me, it’s my family. They always come first, and always will. But it doesn’t have to be exclusive to family. There are lots of things that keep the business in perspective. We’re very blessed to be able to tell stories. It’s an essential way for humankind to understand itself: who we are, where we come from, where we could be going, what we’re capable of. But at the end of the day, if you’re not living a life outside of the business, you’re going to run out of things to bring to the table.
Speaking on behalf of most of our readers, I’m sure we’re all in agreement that we’d much prefer to see Matt Bomer out of clothes instead of being in them. With a body like that, it’s a shame it’s behind all those suits on White Collar. That said, Bomer is strikingly handsome in his stylish threads. While his drop dead gorgeous looks are unattainable to most of us mere mortals, pretty soon we can have the same wardrobe as him. That’s at least something, right?
“I think it starts with the European stars of the fifties and sixties – Marcello Mastrioanni, Jean Paul Belmondo, Alain Delon – and then Cary Grant of course was a big stylistic influence for Neal, and I love the whole American prep look of the fifties and sixties. Steve McQueen, and Paul Newman, and James Dean.” – Matt Bomer
The 35-year-old actor teamed up with Alton Lane to create a range of suits, shirts and bow ties based on his hit show. Pieces from Bomer’s clothing line will be made exclusively on Gilt.com starting 12am EST on January 22, 2013. A portion of sales will benefit Project A.L.S. Reportedly, the first 500 members will receive a complimentary Alton Lane pocket square designed by Bomer himself. Check out a few promo pictures and pieces below.
“Neal’s look is mostly skinny ties, so we wanted to make sure we found something that was skinny but appropriate for everyone,” Bomer explains. “There are a lot of great pocket square and shirt options to choose from if you want to put your own personal touch on things to reflect your own personality.”
Did you watch last night’s episode of The New Normal? If you did, you definitely missed out. Not only was it one of the better ones of the season, but it also featured Matt Bomer shirtless, sweaty and looking pretty damn fine. If you’ve dismissed the comedy purely on the premise, or your dislike for Ryan Murphy or being disappointed after sampling the pilot episode, I highly encourage you to give it a second try. Catch up on old episodes on NBC and I guarantee you’ll fall in love with it.
Bomer guest starred as Bryan’s (Andrew Rannelis) hot ex-boyfriend Monty. We see glimpses of Monty in flashback and present day. Whether he was shown in a sharp suit, roller blading or doing crunches upside down, Bomer was a sight to behold. Everyone on the show was fawning over him including Bryan’s surrogate. Speaking of which… check out a clip from the show below where the boys confront Monty for trying to steal their surrogate away.
Channing Tatum scored People magazine’s big honor of Sexiest Man Alive, but he’s not the only one oozing sex appeal. The publication also honored other men responsible for making women and gay men’s temperature rise. From former Sexiest Man Alive honoree Denzel Washington to South African double-amputee Olympian Oscar Pistorius, People highlight other gorgeous dudes in their annual issue.
If that isn’t enough to quench your hunger for hot men, People also scoured the country to pick the sexiest man from each state. Naturally, Tatum was chosen as Alabama’s representative. How funny would’ve it been if some other schmo, was Mr. Alabama? Pretty hilarious if you ask me. Curious to know which celeb, the publication saddle you with? Find out below.
On the last episode of The New Normal, David (Justin Bartha) proposed to Bryan (Andrew Rannelis) in a touching moment in front of their unborn child’s ultrasound. Is happily ever after in their future? Perhaps, but trouble could be brewing thanks to someone returning from the happy couple’s past. Ryan Murphy tweeted, “Guess who’s coming on The New Normal as Bryan’s sexy ex-boyfriend? The one and only (blank)!!!” I purposely blanked out the name to tease you a bit longer.
With Bartha, Rannelis and Jayson Blair already on the cast, I don’t know if the show can handle anymore gorgeousness. Find out who’s guest starring on the NBC sitcom below. Here’s a hint. He’s played a stripper and con man in the past. Have any guesses?
When Donovan asked me to go see Magic Mike I’ll admit I had my reservations. As much as I love nearly naked men as much as the next gay, I didn’t really think there could possibly be a movie with this much hip thrusting and sweaty men that I would want to be watching in public. Fortunately, what I expected to have me asking for my dollar bills back at the end of the night turned out to be a highly entertaining movie with a gratifying storyline, semi-solid cast, and throbbing beats that made me want to get out of my seat and take my clothes off… almost.
Channing Tatum stars in this film, which is loosely based on his experience as a stripper after dropping out of high school. In this version of the story, Alex Pettyfer (Beastly, I Am Number Four) stars as the young kid Adam, while Tatum portrays the 30-something male stripper and titular character Mike. The two meet while working on a contruction site and while hesitant at first, Mike takes the kid under his wings and introduces him to the highly profitable world of male stripping.
Shortly after being thrust on stage, and awkwardly removing his clothes to “Like a Virgin” while high on GHB, Adam is thrown into full rotation at Xquisite, the local male strip club. He begins taking lessons from Dallas , the club’s owner, emcee and former stripper who is played by Matthew McConaughey. Adam soon learns how to twist, pump, thrust and gyrate his way to that next dollar. He is soon deep in a world where the money, drugs, and women come quicker and faster than you did your first time *wink*.
