This week, many of us here at Homorazzi are groping the slopes at WinterPRIDE in Whistler. Since I’m away, I thought it’d be a good time to share with you some of the things that happened this week in my life.

Earlier this week, my business partner Jamie and I made our debut on CTV Morning Live, chatting with co-host Norma Reid about Valentine’s Day gift ideas for men. In case you don’t know already, aside from Homorazzi, I am also the co-founder of MASC (shopmasc.com), a skin care & grooming product store and online store based here in Vancouver. We sell the best in men’s skin care & grooming products ranging from your cleanser & moisturizer to razors to fragrances and everything in between.

It’s the time of year where many of you are searching for something unique for the special man (or men) in your life. Well, as you know I am the co-founder of a men’s skin care & grooming store called Masc and myself and Jamie were guests on Global BC Morning News to talk about gift ideas for men this past Friday morning. This was our second year as guests of this morning show (having also been guests last year), so we selected some new & noteworthy products that we hadn’t yet discussed on the air before.

Sophie Lui was off for the day, so it was just us with Steve Darling discussing the latest and greatest in men’s skin care. We touched upon some stocking stuffer ideas, a toiletry bag made of recycled tire inner tubes, fragrances, Knot Theory ties, and more! Watch our 5 minute segment below!

Last week, I informed you that my MASC business partner Jamie and I pitched our business on CBC Dragon’s Den and that it would be available to watch online this weekend. That’s right, for those of you that don’t know, prior to also being business partners with Donovan for Homorazzi.com, I was and still remain business partners with Jamie for MASC. Anyway, our segment is now here and now you can get your first look at the segment! I just watched the segment myself for the first time, after having filmed it way back in the spring. I had to keep tight-lipped about this whole thing for months! It was a little nerver wracking when watching at first, not knowing how they did the final edit, but I’m happy with how it turned out.

Earlier this fall, my business partner Jamie and I pitched our business, MASC, on the reality show Dragon’s Den. For those of you in the United States, this show is the equivalent of Shark Tank and even has a few of the same Dragons!

Today, we were informed that our segment is going to be featured online next Wednesday, September 21st on the CBC website. Season 6 of the Canadian series will be premiering on CBC this coming Wednesday.
