Months after “Who You Love” first surfaced online, John Mayer and Katy Perry finally got around to pose for their duet’s official artwork. Perhaps it was due to their busy schedules or their on-and-off again relationship status that kept them from being snapped by famed photographer Mario Sorrenti. Whatever the reason, at long last we have the stunning black-and-white photos to check out. It’s a beautiful way to commemorate their collaboration.
“If the music is framed correctly and quality. And if it’s right and the soul is there, it would be the highest compliment to the record if somebody said or people said, ‘I don’t even think about it being [about] a relationship, I just hear it as a great song,’” – John Mayer
Surprisingly, the beautiful ballad hasn’t done well on the main chart, but has managed to break the Top 20 on both Billboard’s Adult Top 40 and Rock charts. Hopefully, coming soon is a music video to accompany these gorgeous pics. Check out the photos below.
There’s nothing particularly news breaking about this post besides the fact that Marlon Teixeira is fine as hell. But didn’t we know that already. It’s not secret I have a huge hard-on for this Brazilian model. Like majorly. I simply had to share his latest campaign for Just Cavalli’s fragrance for men. He previously appeared in the scent’s print campaign, but now a short black and white commercial has been released. He’s even more seductive and sexy in motion. Check it out below.
Side note: It’s a bit ridiculous he’s fronting a fragrance campaign. I’m 100 percent certain his natural scent is far more tasty. Right? He should just bottle that up instead. I’d buy it in a heartbeat and I’m sure I’m not alone ;)
Well hello there Miss Jennifer “Elizabeth Taylor” Lopez. The “Live It Up” singer serves some major Liz realness circa Cat On A Hot Tin Roof era for Mario Sorrenti. The famed photographer snapped Lopez for the latest issue of W magazine. The cover debuted a couple of days ago, but the inside editorial have just surfaced. Wearing vintage fur (PETA would so not approve), J.Lo. heads back to her childhood home in the Bronx in glamorous style. Wouldn’t expect anything less from the pop diva.
Inside the accompanying interview, Jennifer reveals she was homeless before getting her big break. She also talks about her relationship with her mom, her own parenting skills and her feelings about returning to the Bronx for the shoot and interview.
“The last time I was in there was when my mom and dad called us home to tell us they were separating after 33 years of marriage. I think that’s why I was nervous about coming here today. It’s like seeing someone from the past—you’re afraid to run into them because you never know if it’s going to be ‘wow’ or very difficult. This is a combination of both.”
In “Prometheus” Charlize Theron and Michael Fassbender played siblings. They’re definitely anything but in the latest issue of W magazine. Unless you’re from the South ;) I kid. The two actors get hot and steamy in a fashion spread snapped by Mario Sorrenti with styling by Edward Enninful. They have sex appeal oozing out of every pour.
Given that “Prometheus” opened in theaters last month, the timing of Theron and Fassbender’s cover seems a little late. Since the film’s release, it has earned over $122 million domestically and almost $300 million worldwide. I’m sure their appearance in the August 2012 issue of the publication will bump up those box office numbers even more.
In the accompanying interview, the two’s chemistry is evident in their playful banter. They discuss the first film they saw of each other, along with what’s more difficult to shoot- sex scenes or death ones. “It depends on who you’re doing the sex scene with,” Theron says. “I don’t have issues being naked [pauses]. That sounds very slutty.” “Kind of. I didn’t want to say anything, but yes,” Fassbender responds. It’s those kind of responses that make the interview an entertaining read. Check out a few more pictures and quotes below.
Homorazzi.com is starting to look exclusively like a “Rock of Ages” fan site given the coverage we’ve dedicated to the upcoming musical. What can I say? I love musicals and I love my 80s rock music. Yesterday, we heard and saw the first full-length performance from the Adam Shankman-directed film courtesy of Mary J. Blige. The Grammy-winning R&B singer worked it out with her cover of Journey’s “Any Way You Want It“. Today, it’s Tom Cruise’s turn to show us how he sounds rocking it out.
Before we listen to one of his tracks, I quickly wanted to write about his W magazine cover. The 49-year-old actor revisited his “Rock of Ages” character Stacee Jaxx for the photo shoot snapped by famed photographer Mario Sorrenti. Donning a host of fake tattoos and posing with two blond groupies who come in the form of models Edita Vilkeviciute and Abbey Lee Kersha, Cruise perfectly personifies the stereotypical heavy metal rock band frontman so prevalent during that decade. Considering he’s almost 50-years-old, Tom still looks pretty good. Apparently, Scientology does a body good.
To play the role of Stacee Jaxx, Cruise trained with Guns N’ Roses lead singer Axl Rose’s vocal coach. In addition, he also learned to play the guitar to portray the film’s bad boy. Considering he’s singing on a third of the soundtrack, Tom’s vocal pipes had to be in tip top condition. In a sneak peak given to Ryan Seacrest, we get to hear the first ever audio of Tommy belting it out (minus his Righteous Brothers tribute from “Top Gun”). He takes on Def Leppard’s iconic and awesome “Pour Some Sugar On Me“. Check it out below.
Last year “The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo” actress Rooney Mara covered W Magazine’s Movie Issue, this time around the publication decided to divide the honors between two of Hollywood’s biggest stars. They enlisted Brad Pitt and Charlize Theron who are currently working the awards circuit with their stellar performances in “Moneyball” and “Young Adult” respectively to pose for them. Snapped by famed photographer Mario Sorrenti, the two channel their inner models for two separate smashing covers for the annual Movie Issue.
I can’t believe Brad Pitt is only a couple of years away from his golden birthday. The “Se7en” actor still looks as fine as he did during his breakout role on “Thelma and Louise”. In his additional photos, Pitt looks as dreamy as ever under Sorrenti’s camera lens. For his interview with Lynn Hirschberg, Brad admits he couldn’t act and was instructed to enroll in some acting classes after auditioning for a Jodie Foster movie. He’s certainly come a long way since then as evident with his past Oscar and Golden Globe nominations.
