Michael Fassbender has played an X-Men, an android in Prometheus and showed it all as a sexaholic in Shame. Amen for that last movie :) In the coming months, he’ll hit cineplexes in two completely different roles- a slave owner in 12 Years a Slave and a greedy lawyer in The Counselor. It’s his diverse roles that has GQ naming him the leading man Hollywood’s been waiting for.
Famed photographer Terry Richardson snaps the 36-year-old actor for GQ’s November 2013 issue. Along with showing off his bulging arms while posing with sweet classic vehicles, Fassbender talks about his dark side, his dating history and much more. Check out more photos and quotes below.
“Let me put it to you this way, right? A lot of comedians are dark personalities, but they’re making people laugh. So, you know, it can flip the other way. People that are playing dark roles can actually be quite light. It doesn’t necessarily go hand in hand. I think sometimes maybe people that are lighter can access that darkness easier, whereas people that are dark don’t like to access it.”
Attitude magazine sure has a hard-on for Harry Judd. The British publication named the McFly drummer the sexiest man of the year in both 2011 and 2012. Once again, they’ve tapped the 27-year-old to grace the cover. This time they included the rest of his bandmates along for the ride.
The entire group previously landed the cover back in 2010. That time they shed all their clothing for a steamy sauna-inspired shoot. Their bare glistening butts were a magnificent sight to behold. This time, McFly heads to the great outdoors for a camping adventure. Check out the boys getting “cheeky” aka showing some booty, in the Bella Howard-snapped editorial below.
Not that he was in bad shape before (because he wasn’t), but Usher amped up his workouts for a movie role. If you’re going to play the legendary Sugar Ray Leonard, you definitely have to be in tip top shape. The 34-year-old plays the iconic boxer in the upcoming film, Hands of Stone.
The Season 4 Voice coach opens up about the challenge of playing Leonard, workout mishaps and more for Men’s Health for their November 2013 issue. More importantly, the “Yeah!” singer shows the product of all his hard sweaty work at the gym. Check it out below.
“My commitment to this character demands that I not only physically get ready, but also become him. The hair, the personality, the manner he conducts himself in—all that. He’s an incredible man.”
You know you’re a big deal when you’re on not just one, but two covers in the same month. Both Men’s Health and OUT magazine tapped Joseph Gordon-Levitt to grace their October 2013 issues. Since one is an LGBT publication, I’m going to pick OUT to highlight. That and there were no shirtless pics in the health magazine ;)
The folks over at OUT boldly call the 32-year-old actor as the silver screen’s new leading man. With four films last year and a couple on the way, I couldn’t agree more. Who would’ve thunk the kid from 3rd Rock From The Sun would blossom into one of Hollywood’s hottest actors, literally and figuratively.
Along with mugging for photographer Kai Z Feng, Gordon-Levitt sits down with Aaron Hicklin for in-depth interview. In addition to promoting his new film Don Jon, he talks about gay rumors and his late brother Dan. Check out his answers to these questions below, along with several more pics.
Lady Gaga gets up close and personal with Elle magazine for their October 2013 issue. The “Applause” singer discusses the pressure of being her public persona, firing back at her critics and why she changed her name. Check out a few quotes from her chat with the publication below, along with a couple pics snapped by photographer Ruth Hogben.
“Everyone is so cynical – that I can’t purely love my fans, or share an honest story about my past, without someone asking me if I really, truly struggled. Do you know how much dirt I ate? Do you know the men I had to crawl through, the people that disrespected my body, my mind, my heart?”
Justin Timberlake ditches his suit and tie for the cover of New York magazine. Instead, he opts for more of a rugged look complete with some facial scruff. If it’s possible, he looks even sexier. I can’t wait til the publication releases more photos from their shoot along with the accompanying interview. Undoubtedly, a good chunk of his chat will include promotion for his upcoming The 20/20 Experience – Part 2 of 2, dropping September 30. In the meantime, let’s just all revel in his “SexyBack” glory above.
Absolutely ridiculous. Christina Aguilera looks insanely hot on the current issue of Maxim magazine. With a svelte new body, I don’t blame her for showing off all her hard work at the gym. It’s sexy without being too trashy like her previous editorials with the publication. Remember her slut-tastic one during her “Dirty” era?
In addition to posing for photographer Mark Liddell, the 32-year-old singer opens up about what she finds sexy in guys. Speaking of sexy guys, Maxim asks her which of her former Mickey Mouse Club co-stars was cooler, Justin Timberlake or Ryan Gosling? Find out her answer below, along with a few other memorable quotes and more photos from her sizzling photo shoot. Side note: Love the headline, “Hear the Voice, See the Body!” Preach Maxim, preach.
I’m such a down-to-earth girl, I’m comfortable in just a jersey and boy’s underwear. Trying too hard to be sexy is the worst thing you can do. Sexiness should be effortless.
Just when you thought the buzz surrounding her headline-grabbing MTV VMA performance had died down, Miley Cyrus receives word of another person not impressed with her sexy number. She’s already drawn criticism from everyone, including fellow celebrities, parents, and now she has Steve Chmelar to add to that list.
Who is Chmelar? At 16-years-old, he created the original “No. 1″ hand to support his Iowa high school basketball team. His original version was made of paper-mache and hardware cloth. This inspired Geral Foss to create a foam version. The foam finger was first sold at the 1978 Cotton Bowl game between Notre Dame and Texas, and it has been appearing at sporting events ever since. I’ve probably purchased a handful during my lifetime.
Now 59-year-old, here’s what Steve had to say about Miley using his creation to perform some R-rated actions on stage.
“She took an honorable icon that is seen in sporting venues everywhere and degraded it,” Chmelar told Fox News. He added, “If I had choice between Julie Andrews singing ‘The Sound of Music’ and Miley Cyrus doing ‘Can’t Stop’, I’d go the Julie Andrews route, but everyone has their choice and their decision.”
In other Miley-related news. The “We Can’t Stop” singer graces the cover of Notion Magazine’s 65th issue. As usual, Miley’s being Miley in her latest editorial, wearing marijuana-inspired clothing. Check out the dope shoot below.
