First and foremost, Happy Belated Birthday to Ian Somerhalder. The Vampire Diaries actor turned 35 on Sunday, December 8. His fans know him best for playing Damon Salvatore. For me, however, he’ll always be Boone from Lost or that guy who hit on James van der Beek in Rules of Attraction. I’m sure if he had the guns he has now (see picture above), Dawson might not have turned him down.
Somerhalder shows off his biceps on the cover of Annex Man’s latest issue. Snapped by photographer Bradford Rogne, Ian models an array of wardrobe including pieces by Ami, Neil Barrett, Mugler, Alexis Mabille and more. Check out some pics from his editorial featured in the publication’s Winter 2013/2014 issue, available now.
Initially, Alan Ritchson auditioned for the role of Finnick which eventually went to Sam Claflin. A couple of months after not hearing from the casting director, he received an offer to play Gloss. If you’ve seen The Hunger Games: Catching Fire, much to his fans’ dismay, he’s barely featured. Even more disheartening is the fact producers didn’t utilize that ripped eight-pack of his. Luckily for us, Da Man had no problem exploiting his natural assets.
The 29-year-old former American Idol hopeful poses for a stylish and sizzling editorial in Da Man’s latest issue snapped by Mitchell Nguyen McCormack. Ritchson can next be seen in Michael Bay’s upcoming big budget Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles where he plays Raphael. Given that he’s a turtle, I’m pretty sure, once again, moviegoers will be deprived of his toned physique on the big screen. Better get your fill from the pictures below.
“I’d be lying if I say genetics don’t play some part of that, but at the same time, I think people take for granted how hard it is to achieve any kind of success. I do work really hard, I work out five days a week and I’m very disciplined about my regimen. I focus on cardio; it’s the foundation of my workout. The best of me is poured into that and the rest of it goes into resistance training. If anyone wants to get ripped, I recommend sprint training.”
The 34-year-old singer certainly has a lot to be thankful for this year. With The Voice still kicking ass in the ratings, an engagement with Victoria’s Secret model Behati Prinsloo and recent multi-platinum selling album under his belt, Levine is hotter than ever. During The Voice’s results show, Carson Daly made the announcement official we previously reported last week. Adam Levine is People’s Sexiest Man Alive for 2013.
“As a musician, you have fantasies that you want to win Grammys, but I didn’t really think that this was on the table,” the singer tells PEOPLE. “I was just amazed and stunned and it almost seemed like they were kidding, but they weren’t, so that’s cool.”
While I do find Levine attractive, I’m not sure he’s the best choice for People’s annual honor. Personally, the publication’s previous picks throughout the years have either been hit or miss. I still don’t get how Ryan Reynolds nabbed it in 2010 or the fact Johnny Depp earned the title twice since 2000. Live Pirates and the Caribbean but c’mon.
Check out all the men who have received the honor since 2000 below and weigh in if Levine belongs with the bunch. Also, be sure to share which one you find the sexiest of them all.
I don’t know about you, but whenever I go to the gym, I couldn’t give a rat’s ass on what I look like. Black shorts and basic grey tees are my typical go-tos. So vastly different from every other aspect of my life. However, I’m sure if I lived at the gym like several people I know, I probably would put more of an effort, especially if I was single.
Model Gui Costa shows off the latest workout attire for a spread in the latest issue of Men’s Fitness Turkey. Watch him work out a sweat for photographer Tayfun Cetinkaya in sporty pieces from NIKE, Reebok, Hugo Boss to name a few. Check out the entire editorial below.
OUT magazine’s annual OUT 100 issue is on newsstands today. With his coming out making huge headlines, naturally Wentworth Miller is the publication’s “Newsmaker of the Year.” Hands down for us, our post on Miller’s open letter to Russia publicly declaring his homosexuality was our top-viewed one of the year.
Miller wasn’t the only one to get his own cover. Lee Daniels (Artist of the Year), Jim Parsons (Entertainer of the Year) and Edie Windsor (Lifetime Achievment) join Miller at the head of the 2013 class.
Also making it on the prestigious list are Jinkz Monsoon (RuPaul’s Drag Race), country singer Steve Grand, Victor Garber (Alias), Jonathan Groff (Looking), photographer Tom Bianchi, Rex Lee (Suburgatory) and politician Brian Sims to name a few. Check out the other four covers below, along with a shirtless surprise of one of the OUT 100 class. Hint. It’s not Edie. I kid.
Lady Gaga may not be “conventionally beautiful,” according to herself, but Mother Monster can certainly turn it up when needed. Gaga looks all kinds of fierce on the December issue of Glamour magazine. The “Venus” singer executes her best brokedown doll pose for photographer Patrick Demarchelier. If you think the cover is hot, wait til you see the pics of her wearing some interesting headwear below
Along with channeling her inner supermodel, Gaga sits down with Andy Cohen for the publication. During their chat, they discuss her confidence, her looks and much, much more. Check out a few quotes and pics from Glamour’s Women of the Year issue on newsstands November 5.
We haven’t seen too much of Ryder Lynn (Blake Jenner) on this season of Glee so far. Hopefully, that’ll change real soon. Thankfully, Jenner brings his hotness to Bello Mag for an editorial in their October 2013 issue.
Photographed by Aleksandar Tomovic, the 21-year-old shows off looks from G Star, Gap, Naked, DSquared2, Penguin and much more. Check out a few photos below along with excerpts from his interview including what he learned from his co-star Cory Monteith.
“I really love to run and then right after get some good lifting in. Then of course, follow all that up with some healthy meals and protein.”
Taking a page out of Britney’s playbook. Rihanna shows she’s also a lover of snakes. The 25-year-old entertainer serves major Medusa realness on the cover of British GQ. The publication enlisted photographer Damien Hirst to capture Rihanna for their 25th anniversary issue.
“Damien Hirst is one of the world’s most highly acclaimed living artists. Rihanna is one of the world’s most successful pop icons. To celebrate GQ’s 25th anniversary, these two creative firebrands embarked on an art project the like of which has never been seen before.” – British GQ
I can’t wait to see what else they have in store for us. Based on another preview pic below, more snakes and more nudity are a safe bet. Pretty much what you’d expect from the “Stay” singer. Check it out below.
