To promote his upcoming film Need For Speed, Aaron Paul sat down with Details magazine. Although he’s on the verge of conquering the silver screen the 34-year-old actor has abandoned the small one. Paul reveals to the publication that he’d love to take part in the Breaking Bad spinoff titled Better Call Saul. In addition to his career, he shares some personal insights including how he met his wife. Check out more quotes from his interview, along with photos snapped by Robbie Fimmano.

On Breaking Bad Spinoff (Better Call Saul)

“Both Bryan [Cranston] and I want to be a part of that. If they’ll have us.”

mindy-kaling-elle-magazine

Amy Poehler, Mindy Kaling, Zooey Deschanel, and Allison Williams all appear in separate covers for Elle’s Women in TV issue. While Poehler, Deschanel and Williams’ respective photos are in color and reveal their entire body, Kaling’s is noticeably a different color and only features the comedienne’s upper body.

Some critics are slamming Elle for being racist and “fat-ist.” This isn’t the first time Elle has been slammed for not embracing full-figured women. The publication wrapped Melissa McCarthy in an over-sized coat last year. Kaling made light of the controversy and used the opportunity to promote a new episode of The Mindy Project.

“Wishing for more skin on my @ELLEmagazine cover? Chris Messina & I are naked on a brand new #themindyproject tonight, ya pervs! 930/830 FOX.” Later on, Mindy tweeted “I love my @ELLEmagazine cover. It made me feel glamorous & cool. And if anyone wants to see more of my body, go on thirteen dates with me.”

Elle also broke their silence and wrote, “Mindy looks sexy, beautiful and chic. We think it is a striking and sophisticated cover and are thrilled to celebrate her in our Women in TV Issue.” Editor in chief Robbie Myers wrote in a press release, “The covers we shot with Zooey Deschanel, Mindy Kaling, Amy Poehler and Allison Williams are all distinctive.”

Sometimes I feel people have a tendency to overreact to situations like this, but you can’t deny something is a little fishy here. Kaling’s cover is so vastly different, I can totally imagine what editors said while picking the photo. I’ve seen Devil Wears Prada numerous times ;) Check out the other covers below which were all snapped by photographer Carter Smith.

eva-longoria-maxims-hottest-woman

We’re only less than a week into the new year, but Maxim has already named their Woman of the Year. I’m not sure exactly what their criteria is but Eva Longoria seems to have met them all. Last year, it took the publication til May to declare 2013′s hottest babe. That honor went to Miley Cyrus. Here’s what the 38-year-old actress said about receiving the 2014 title.

“It’s especially awesome after how long it’s been since my first cover. I’ve had a beautiful relationship with Maxim over all these years.” – Eva Longoria

Love Longoria, but it seems a little ridiculous to already start declaring “of the year” honors at this early stage. Don’t you think? I will say though, Eva looks downright smokin’ in the Randall Slavin-snapped pics. Check more out below, along with more quotes from her interview found in the January/February 2014 issue which hits newsstands on January 17.

chris-pine-hollywood-reporter

Before he became a star in his own right, Chris Pine was best known for being that piece of eye candy used as a love interest for young Hollywood starlets. He appeared in The Princess Diaries 2: Royal Engagement and Just My Luck with Anne Hathaway and Lindsay Lohan respectively. With regards to the 2006 rom-com with LiLo, here’s what he had to say about his experience filming the movie.

“It was a real cyclone of insanity, like being around The Beatles. It was fascinating to watch, and in hindsight it’s really a distinct moment in someone’s life when you see what’s really wonderful about what we get to do and what’s really dangerous about it.” - Chris Pine

I can only imagine how crazy it was. That was during the peak of Lilo’s career. She was paid a whopping $7.5 million to star in the screwball disaster.

The 33-year-old actor has certainly come a long way since then. Not only does he have one lucrative franchise under his belt (Star Trek), he’s launching a potential new one in a couple of weeks, Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit. He’s the fourth actor to play the iconic character created by the late Tom Clancy. Alec Baldwin (The Hunt for Red October), Harrison Ford (Patriot Games, Clear and Present Danger) and Ben Affleck (The Sum of All Fear) previously played Jack Ryan.

Which DNA 2013 Cover Model Is The Hottest?

In: Donovan, Totally GAY!
dna-magazine-2013-covers

Without a doubt, DNA magazine has the hottest cover boys around. Month after month, the Aussie publication never cease to amaze me with their impeccable choices. With the year drawing to a close, I thought a trip down memory lane was in order. Who wouldn’t want to relive all their sexy covers?

Check out Rodiney Santiago, Matt Chapman (my favorite), Philip Fusco, Daniel Garofali and others below wearing very skimpy bottoms and little else. Be sure to vote for your favorites at the end.

joe-manganiello-muscle-fitness

With the new year fast approaching, it’s time to start thinking about those resolutions. Without a doubt, getting into shape and losing that holiday weight is probably the most popular goal. Within weeks, if not days, many fall off the wagon. Hoping to keep us inspired, at least for the month of January, Muscle & Fitness picked Joe Manganiello to grace their first cover of 2014. Great choice if you ask me.

With a new fitness book to pimp out, naturally Manganiello agreed to show off his signature physique for the publication a second time. Featuring black-and-white photographs throughout, and Manganiello’s step-by-step workout routine that combines weights, intense cardio and a high protein diet, Evolution: The Cutting Edge Guide to Breaking Down Mental Walls and Building the Body You’ve Always Wanted promises to “turn any Average Joe into a Joe Manganiello.” His words, not mine.

If you need any more convincing that’s a good thing, check out the payoff from all the 36-year-old’s countless sweaty hours at the gym. Oh to be a towel after his workout. SIGH!!!

bradley-cooper-gq-magazine

GQ kicks off 2014 with Bradley Cooper on their cover. I can’t think of a better way to ring in the new year. While I prefer my Bradley with longer locks, I’d take one with a close buzz cut or even with a 70s perms looks anytime. I’m not that picky when it comes to Cooper.

The publication enlisted photographer Peggy Sirota to hustle herself down to Hawaii to snap the American Hustle star. Tough gig. Where do I sign up? The 38-year-old actor channels old school Steve McQueen cool wearing sharp threads while talking candidly with GQ. He talks about his past drug abuse, how it affected his work and how he so desperately wanted to be written off Alias. Was Jennifer Garner that bad? Nope, that’s not the reason. Find out why below, along with more quotes and photos from his slick editorial.

Ian Somerhalder Smolders For Annex Man

In: Celeb Gossip & News, Donovan
annex-man-ian-somerhalder

First and foremost, Happy Belated Birthday to Ian Somerhalder. The Vampire Diaries actor turned 35 on Sunday, December 8. His fans know him best for playing Damon Salvatore. For me, however, he’ll always be Boone from Lost or that guy who hit on James van der Beek in Rules of Attraction. I’m sure if he had the guns he has now (see picture above), Dawson might not have turned him down.

Somerhalder shows off his biceps on the cover of Annex Man’s latest issue. Snapped by photographer Bradford Rogne, Ian models an array of wardrobe including pieces by Ami, Neil Barrett, Mugler, Alexis Mabille and more. Check out some pics from his editorial featured in the publication’s Winter 2013/2014 issue, available now.
