In: Donovan, TV Shows
jason-morgan-elle-man-czech

You might recognize Jason Morgan as the face of Giorgio Armani Acqua di Gio or flaunting his enviable physique for Emporio Armani underwear or somewhere else. The Philly-born stud is always in demand. With his stunning blue eyes and Clark Kent-like chiseled features, I can certainly see why.

Morgan lets it all hang out, literally, for the latest issue of Elle Man Czech. He shows off that aforementioned hot bod for photographer Branislav Simoncik. Lucky guy.

Whether he’s rocking underwear, Armani of course, or nothing at all, Jason is fearlessly fierce in the sizzling editorial. Check out the slightly NSFW pics below.

Just like X-Men: Days of Future Past, Empire magazine is issuing collectible covers for the latest installment. The publication dedicates nine for X-Men: Apocalypse, the conclusion to the latest trilogy of films from Bryan Singer. “The End Is Nigh,” as each cover declares.

It’s interesting, how some of the mutants score their own, while others have to pair up. Surprisingly, Hollywood’s ‘It Girl,’ Jennifer Lawrence as Mystique shares the spotlight with Evan Peters as Quicksilver. Meanwhile, Sophie Turner as a young Jean Grey nabs a solo cover. Check out all the covers below to see who’s paired up with whom.

Men’s Health really, really, really likes Tom Hopper. The 31-year-old English actor just graced the cover of the South African edition a few months ago. Truth be told, the pictures appear to look like they were taken during that time and just recycled for another edition. At least for the US edition, they used a shirtless photo. And for that, muchas gracias.

If you’re a fan of Starz’s Black Sails and specifically how Hopper and the cast gets in superb shape, Hopper dishes about his training. Read below for some quotes and more pictures of Hopper.

On Training For The Pirate Show

“I honestly felt like I was going to die, and it was where I first experienced what [my trainer] calls ‘going dark.’ Now I’ve become used to this fear of the dark, and even begun to crave it—it has made me stronger physically and mentally, and I’ve learned that you should never give up, to keep fighting, no matter what your mind is telling you.”

The American Society of Magazine Editors (ASME) declared Caitlyn Jenner’s Vanity Fair issue shot by Annie Leibovitz as Cover of the Year. Roughly 100 of the industry’s top editors, art directors and photo editors came to the decision.

“The cover contest judges had tough decisions to make this year,” said ASME chief executive Sid Holt. “Any time you have to choose between an already legendary Annie Leibovitz shoot on the cover of Vanity Fair, a Mark Seliger comedy special on GQ and one of the year’s most talked-about news covers, ‘Cosby: The Women’ on New York — plus Serena Williams on both Sports Illustrated and New York — that’s a good time to be a magazine editor and an even better time to be a magazine reader.”

While Vanity Fair beat out Amy Schumer’s GQ cover, the Star Wars-themed issue won out in a separate reader’s choice contest. Other winners include Reese Witherspoon’s Glamour Woman of the Year cover by Tom Munro and Rihanna’s Harper’s Bazaar cover by Norman Jean Roy for women’s lifestyle category, and fashion and beauty category respectively.

David Beckham really has a golden aura about him these days, a star quality burnished by a dedication to self-improvement, a savvy series of brand endorsements and the not inconsiderable fact that the public as a whole appear to have taken him to their hearts,” Dylan Jones, British GQ Editor

In addition to British GQ’s tribute, an exhibition at London’s Phillips Galleries will showcase some of his most iconic photographs taken by artists including Damien Hirst, Marc Hom, Nadav Kander, Annie Leibovitz, Vincent Peters, Mario Sorrenti and Paul Wetherell. It’s all about girl power for Vanity Fair’s annual Hollywood Issue. Not just any women either, but Tinseltown’s fiercest actresses. Jane Fonda, Cate Blanchett, Viola Davis and Jennifer Lawrence score the prime spots on the publication’s iconic three-panel foldout.

These four women aren’t just talented and beautiful but very outspoken as well. The have all at one point this past year spoken out about the problems with Hollywood. From ageism to diversity to equal gender pay, all of them have stated their opinions. It’s a bold statement from Vanity Fair indeed. I love it.

Once again, Annie Leibovitz snapped the group picture. The famed 66-year-old photographer has helmed the shoot for all but three of the Hollywood Issue covers since the edition debuted in 1995. Check out all the past covers below, along with the full foldout from this year. Weigh in on which covers are your favorites.
