Pitch Perfect defied all odds when it hit theaters in September 2012. Not only did it earn rave reviews, generate major box office revenue but it developed a cult loyal following. The sequel definitely has a lot to live up to when it hits theaters next year on May 15, 2015. Director Elizabeth Banks certainly feels the heat.

“It was pretty modest,” director Banks shared about the unexpected success of the first film to EW. “But it engendered a lot of love. That’s what we could not have foreseen. The first film flew under the radar, and it was a gift. This time around, much higher stakes. Everybody is much more involved. As the saying goes, ‘Success has many fathers.’”

Entertainment Weekly gives a sneak peek at the highly-anticipated film. Brittany Snow, Rebel Wilson and Anna Kendrick, wearing colorful frocks and boas, grace the publication’s latest cover. Head over to EW.com for more of a preview of Pitch Perfect 2.

Every year GQ Magazine honors celebrities who’ve made a mark in pop culture the past twelve months. Chris Pratt is one of the publication’s Men of the Year for 2014. Yesterday, I shared his cover, which is one of six for the special year-end issue.

Gracing the other five are Dave Chappelle, Michael Sam (pictured above), Steve Carrell and The Fault In Our Stars’ breakout stars Ansel Elgort and Shailene Woodley. The latter given the title of ‘Our Favorite New Crush’ by the glossy. Check out the rest of the covers below. GQ’s Men of The Year issue hit stands on November 25.

Guardians of the Galaxy hero Chris Pratt is one of six cover boys for GQ magazine’s annual Men of the Year issue. The others are Dave Chappelle, Ansel Elgort, Michael Sam, Steve Carell and Shailene Woodley as the lone woman getting the honor. Quite an eclectic random bunch, right?

Inside the issue, Pratt talks about Parks and Recreation ending, his urge to step behind the camera and being the first fat superhero. Check out a few quotes and more pics below.

OUT magazine celebrates its 20th anniversary this year with the theme “On the Shoulders of Giants.” For it’s annual OUT 100 list, they’re referencing pivotal moments in LGBT history.

As always, they’ve chosen compelling people from all walks of life and fields, ranging from entertainers to athletes, activists, journalists and everything in between to honor. The publication has chosen Sam Smith (Breakout of the Year), Ellen Page (Entertainer of the Year), Zachary Quinto (Artist of the Year) and Samira Wiley (Ingenue of the Year) to grace their four collectible covers. Check out the other covers below and be sure to head to OUT.com to see who made this year’s OUT 100.

“My main aim is to tell people how good its been for me so that, hopefully, gay men or parents with gay children can look at my story and think, Wow, that’s how it should be. That’s what we can work towards.” – Sam Smith

This holiday season, Rob Marshall brings another beloved musical to the big screen. He trades in the killer women of Chicago for singing fairy tale characters in Stephen Sondheim’s Into The Woods. The musical is considered Sondheim’s best work and one of the greatest musicals ever written.

“I didn’t want this to look like a cartoon world,” says Marshall to Entertainment Weekly. “It’s not sunny, sunny, sunny—we wanted a sense of danger.”

After half glimpses of Johnny Deep as The Big Bad Wolf in a couple of movie trailers, Entertainment Weekly finally gives the first full look. He graces one of the publication’s four collector’s edition covers.

Meryl Streep and MacKenzie Mauzy appear in the artwork above as The Witch and Rapunzel respectively. Check out Anna Kendrick as Cinderella and Chris Pine as Prince Charming and more below on the other covers. Into The Woods hits theaters on Christmas Day this December.

shia-labeouf-interview-mag-cover

Shia LaBeouf can often times come off as a douchey dick. Right? Admit it though, it’s kinda sexy and part of his appeal.

The 28-year-old actor poses for a black and white editorial in the latest issue of Interview magazine snapped by photographer Craig McDean. LaBeouf looks hot showing off his toned bod, often shirtless in the spread. My favorite is the next picture below where he’s putting on a pair of boots. WOOF!!!

Shia can currently be seen in theaters in Brad Pitt’s war flick, Fury. Check out more photos below.

Have you read any of the gay fan fiction out there fantasizing about a Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson hookup? Well, Benedict Cumberbatch has. And he has a very detailed account on how most of them go.

On Sherlock & Watson Gay Fan Fiction

“Because, you know, they either want to make John [Watson] into a sort of cute little toy, or me into a cute toy, or we’re fucking in space on a bed, chained together. It’s always , like, one of them is tired, one comes back from work, the other is horny, a lump appears in his trousers, and then they’re at it. It’s usually me getting it – I’m biting Watson’s dog tags.”

The 38-year-old actor also talks about sexual politics in Hollywood, bullying and religious tolerance to name a few topics with the publication. Dude certainly has his opinion. Check out a few quotes below, along with more photos snapped by photographer Samuel Bradley. Cumberbatch can currently be seen playing Hamlet at the Barbican Theater in London.
