With famed photographer Annie Leibovitz helming the shoot, you know the finished product would be nothing but spectacular. In my opinion, this is hands down one of Katy Perry’s best photo series ever. Definitely a great way to celebrate her first Vogue cover. She previously graced an issue of Teen Vogue, but this is the first for the fashion bible.
The 28-year-old evokes old school Hollywood 50s icon Jane Russell in the country-themed spread. The “Fireworks” singer is without a doubt the most glamorous farmhand I’ve ever seen. With Valentino, Prada, Ralph Lauren and Michael Kors designs, it’s hard not to look fabulous. My personal favorite though is the Zac Posen dress she’s wearing where she’s laying in a bed of hay. Stunning.
“He’s a very smart man, and I was in love with him when I married him. Let’s just say I haven’t heard from him since he texted me saying he was divorcing me December 31, 2011. At first when I met him he wanted an equal, and I think a lot of times strong men do want an equal, but then they get that equal and they’re like, I can’t handle the equalness. He didn’t like the atmosphere of me being the boss on tour. So that was really hurtful, and it was very controlling, which was upsetting. I felt a lot of responsibility for it ending, but then I found out the real truth, which I can’t necessarily disclose because I keep it locked in my safe for a rainy day. I let go and I was like: This isn’t because of me; this is beyond me. So I have moved on from that.”
Well, isn’t Joe Manganiello one generous fellow. Just last month he showed off his Greek god-like body to Men’s Health UK. He’s once again shirtless but this time it’s for the US version. The 36-year-old covers the publication’s June/July 2013 issue and heads to the beach for the inside editorial.
Clearly, the magazine has a hard-on for Manganiello. Not only is he their cover boy, but he recently ranked as No. 1 pick on their Best Summer Bodies list. I don’t blame them. He’s all that and then some. Side note: Did you catch his hot sex scene on the True Blood season premiere this past Sunday? His butt left me absolutely speechless.
“I’m playing a werewolf. I want to look sinewy. I want to look like an animal when the shirt comes off, but I want it to be a bit misleading when I have the shirt on.”
It’s a good thing Alexander Skarsgård is a vampire on True Blood. Based on these pictures, I’m not sure he could hold his own in the boxing ring. Definitely not flying like a butterfly nor stinging like a bee. The sexy Swede looks a tad busted up. However, he looks somewhat adorable with that band-aid on his beaten nose. Any takers to nurse him back to health? I call sponge bath duties.
The 36-year-old actor graces the cover of M Magazine’s latest issue. He was snapped by photographer Matthew Brookes and styled by Alex Badia for the editorial titled, “Knockout at Fortune Gym.” Check out Alexander a little bloodied, bruised, sweaty but also sexy in the pics below. Be sure to catch the sixth season premiere of True Blood this Sunday, June 16 on HBO. I can’t wait.
Even though Shakira doesn’t have any contestants left on The Voice, her judging stint on the NBC show has proven fruitful. By all accounts, her freshman year has been met with positive reaction, reacquainting her back with North American fans. Elle magazine taps the Colombian singer for its feature editorial in their July 2013 issue. Photographer Carter Smith perfectly captures the 36-year-old singer’s natural beauty and sexiness.
Inside the issue, Shakira talks about her relationship with sexy soccer player Gerard Pique, being a new mother and the direction her music is headed in the future. Check out her spread below where she rocks out threads by Diane von Furstenberg, Versace and many more.
“He has his own world and that’s actually one of the healthiest things about the relationship. I know that he’s the one person who is with me not because of any interest other than the love than unites us. There’s nothing I can offer him beyond my womanhood – does that word exist in English?”
Thank God for Emma Watson. Otherwise, current child stars might think the only option in the future is to become the next Lindsay Lohan and Amanda Bynes. The former Hermoine Granger proves the entertainment industry isn’t to blame for child stars turning to hot messes but bad parenting and not having a solid support system. That’s right Dina Lohan, I’m talking to you.
Even though she has a red hot career on her hands, the 23-year-old revealed in an interview to Rookie Mag that she’s returning to Brown University in the Fall. She attended the Ivy League for her second year, but left to focus on promoting the last chapter of the Harry Potter franchise. There were rumors (which she debunked) that her departure were caused by bullying. Clearly that’s not the case since she’s returning back to Brown to finish off her senior year.
“I really like the fact that [Brown] has a very open curriculum, that there aren’t any requirements. Really, I’ve kind of been in charge of my own education since I started out on ‘Potter’ when I was 9 or 10, and I liked that I could design my own major if I wanted to, and I could take independent studies if I wanted to on subjects that weren’t necessarily in the curriculum. I did an independent study on the psychology and philosophy of how and why we fall in love, which was awesome.” – Emma Watson
It’s so nice to see a young Hollywood starlet that is not only pretty and talented, but who is also intelligent and full of class and grace. Good for her and all the girls who admire her. She is the definition of a good role model, don’t you think? Just in case you missed it, I posted her recent editorial in W Magazine snapped by Michael Thompson. She looks absolutely stunning.
People magazine’s reigning “Sexiest Man Alive” is officially a DILF ya’ll. Channing Tatum and his wife Jenna Dewan-Tatum welcomed their first child, daughter Everly, just a few days ago. Congratulations to the new parents.
In anticipation of his impending fatherhood, the 33-year-old actor sat down with Vanity Fair for their July 2013 issue to discuss his father and his parenting skills and why he won’t medicate his own children if they have any learning disabilities. And in a seemingly unrelated random topic, Channing talks about Justin Bieber. Check out his thoughts on the “Boyfriend” singer below, along with photos captured by Bruce Weber at One Gun Ranch in Malibu California. If you’re an animal lover and wanna see Tatum wear chaps and ride horseback, you’ll enjoy the video.
“I don’t think you can prepare. It’s a bit of a freestyle.”
True Blood is around the corner and you know what that means. Time for HBO to parade Joe Manganiello shirtless to entice viewers to tune in for the premiere. Truthfully, I don’t know what I’m more excited for, the actual show or Manganiello whoring himself out to various magazines.
The 36-year-old actor graces the cover of Men’s Health June 2013 issue. Photographer Patrik Giardino snaps him as he rock climbs. I’m not sure what’s more chiseled, the rock formations he’s scaling or his ripped body. Perhaps the reason his muscles pop so much in the editorial is due to advice given by his idol Arnold Schwarzenegger.
“We had a photoshoot for the movie [Ten] poster. I was wearing a sleeveless top, crossing my arms and flexing,” he recalls. “Arnold came in and said, ‘I see you’re flexing your biceps. Don’t do that. Keep it loose and [with crossed arms] put the other hand back to push [the muscle forward]—you’ll get an extra three inches.’”
“Will Union J be a SMASH Hit?” asks Attitude magazine. I surely hope so. I’m sorta digging their debut single “Carry You.” It’s also nice to see a boy band out there with an out-and-proud gay member. And the cute one to boot, at least in my opinion he is. Jaymi Hensley and his boys cover the youth issue of the British gay publication where Hensley talks everything homosexual.
Even though the 23-year-old came out to his family and friends years earlier, it wasn’t until the weekend of the seventh live show of The X Factor did he come out publicly. Instantly he became a role model for young adults struggling with their own sexuality.
“I thought it was important for kids to know I have made nine weeks on X Factor without having to speak about it, but when I do, it’s going to make absolutely no difference whatsoever.”
Jaymi tells Attitude it was a lot easier for him to come out than another X Factor contestant- 6th series winner Joe McElderry. Find out why below.
