A little whiplash after her epic fall at the 2015 Brit Awards isn’t going to slow Madonna down. The 56-year-old pop icon announced a tour to support her 13th studio album. Fingers crossed she doesn’t tie that Giorgio Armani bull fighter cape next time around.
The Rebel Heart Tour kicks off on August 29 in Miami. The 35-city engagement will span cities in North America and Europe. Additional tour dates for Asia and Australia are expected to be announced soon. Pre-sale begins tomorrow with general tickets available on Monday March 9. Check out all the tour dates below.
Madonna has the distinction of gracing more Rolling Stone covers than any other female. With so many under her belt, some repetition was bound to happen.
For her latest cover, the 56-year-old poses for a close up rocking a sexy red lip. The visual is very reminiscent of her Marilyn Monroe-inspired cover in the 90s. Hey, if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it, right?
Inside the issue, Madge gets fiery and introspective. One of the topics she discusses is ageism in pop culture. Recently, the “Living For Love” singer felt the sting of that when a radio station in the UK banned her for being ‘irrelevant and old‘ for its teenage listeners. OUCH!!!
Madonna also reveals her real feelings about Lady Gaga, her marriage to Guy Ritchie, her relationship with Judaism, her assessment of Kanye West, calling him a ‘brilliant madman‘ and Taylor Swift. Check out some quotes below.
“She has an opinion, and she’s going against the norm. So in that respect, she is similar to me, yeah. And also, people just want to give her a hard time all the time because they think she’s a goody-two-shoes, so of course I want to embrace her.”
Who knew her lyrics for “Living For Love” would be so prophetic? Madonna may stumble, but she’ll still carry on. Not even an epic fall due to a wardrobe malfunction could stop Madge at the 2015 Brit Awards.
“Armani hooked me up! My beautiful cape was tied too tight! But nothing can stop me and love really lifted me up! Thanks for your good wishes! I’m fine! ??#livingforlove” Madonna wrote on her Instagram.
After falling backwards some five steps, the 56-year-old entertainer got back up and danced like nothing had happened. Given the magnitude of the stumble, I’m impressed she only missed a few notes and didn’t break her hip. That looked like it hurt hardcore. I’m sure though she’ll be sore and bruised tomorrow. Check out the fall below.
Madonna is no dummy. The 56-year-old legend knows exactly where the majority of her fan base lies. Ergo the strategy behind this unique promo sweepstakes.

Throughout the night, only a handful of awards were presented during the 57th Grammy Awards. The marathon telecast instead opted to show performances. Some were memorable while others almost put me to sleep. Seriously, I have no idea what Ariana Grande was thinking. She has so many far superior songs than the ballad she chose.
By far, my favorite was Sia’s latest performance of her smash hit “Chandelier.” Maddie was once again on hand to execute some wicked contemporary choreography but this time she was joined by the hilarious Kristen Wiig. I’m still in shock the Aussie singer lost out Best Video to Pharrell Williams’ “Happy.” #robbed
Other highlights came from female veterans. Madonna injected some much needed energy in a night filled with ballads. Say what you will, but the 56-year-old can still deliver a fun pop performance. Meanwhile, Annie Lennox cast a spell on the audience when she joined Hozier. Mary J. Blige did the same when she paired up with Best New Artist Sam Smith on his ubiquitous hit, “Stay With Me.”
Beyonce closed out the show by delivering a soaring gospel number. Instead of being accompanied by women on stage, Bey opted to feature men who have suffered and lived. “I felt like this is an opportunity to show the strength and vulnerability in black men,” she revealed. Check out her unforgettable performance below along with the others. Be sure to weigh in on your favorite Grammy performances.
Madonna sure has a hard-on for all things bullfighting related. She’s often taken inspiration from the spectacle for several of her music videos and once again does it for “Living For Love.”
The 56-year-old icon engages in a beautifully choreographed duel against some hunky shirtless human bulls. The dramatic visual was directed by J.A.C.K. (Julien Choquart and Camille Hirigoyen). It ends with the following quote from Friedrich Nietzsche.
“Man is the cruelest animal. At tragedies, bullfights and crucifixions he has felt best on earth; and when he invented hell for himself that was his very heaven.”
Madge made history with “Living For Love” by becoming the first artist to premiere a music video on Snapchat. Check it out below. I actually quite dig it and makes me like the track more.
New club location in the city’s downtown core now accepting memberships!

The exquisite 42,000 sq. ft. facility is the brand’s first club in North America and the largest of all current Hard Candy Fitness gyms whose current locations include Rome, Sydney, Santiago, Mexico City, Moscow, St. Petersburg, Russia, and Berlin.
“We are very excited about the opening of Toronto’s new Hard Candy Fitness,” said Leonard Schlemm, chairman and co-owner, of Hard Candy Fitness Toronto. “The club is in one of the city’s most beautiful condominium towers in arguably the most vibrant neighborhood in Toronto.”
Apparently, dancing is all the rage in fashion these days. Instead of models just doing their signature walks, girls are now being asked to shimmy, shake it and grind it on the runway. First Rick Owens showed off his entire collection at Paris Fashion Week using stepping teams, and now Jean Paul Gaultier is getting his groove on. The French designer is best known for creating Madonna’s iconic cone bra back in the 90s during her voguing days.
Speaking of vogue, JPG enlisted Karlie Kloss to show off her skills. While Scissor Sisters’ “Let’s Have A Kiki” played in the background, girlfriend busted out more angles than a protractor. Kloss was facilitating a master class in geometry, for real. Fierce doesn’t even begin to describe the unforgettable moment.
Also busting out in dance was Canadian supermodel Coca Rocha. The former professional Irish jigger (is that a word?) channeled her inner John Travolta for a Grease-inspired segment. From the pompadour to the iconic dance moves, Coco served major Danny Zuko realness. Watch both epic moments below, along with the entire Gaultier fashion show.
