Publicists for Ben Sherman, if you’re reading this I want everything posted here mailed to me stat. Especially those printed shorts and collared shirts. Please and thank you ;)
Perhaps it’s the masterful lens of photographer Sam Hendel, but all these pieces are just screaming to go into my closet. Love the retro styling feel of the shoot. Plus model Jack Vanderhart isn’t too hard on the eyes to look at. Check out Ben Sherman’s Summer 2013 ad campaign below.
My neck of the woods experienced the hottest weekend so far this year. It was definitely time to bust out the tees and tanks. I came across this new label and immediately wanted to post about it. I’m a sucker for a typography graphic top. Plus, model André Hamann is pretty easy on the eyes. In that skateboarder scruffy kind of way.
We Are Freaks is a brand new clothing line specializing in graphic tanks, tees and skateboards. The logo and all designs are created by illustrators and designers Sandra Greiling and Annika Janssen a.k.a. YAWN.
The company tapped Kult male model Hamann to grace their 2013 Spring/Summer lookbook. Hamann reminds me of Aussie Thomas Davenport whom I’ve featured in Model Behavior recently. Expect an upcoming post dedicated on Hamann soon. He is fiiiiiiiine. Check him out rocking the casual designs from We Are Freaks below.
I had no idea there were so many Francisco Lachowski fans on the site. My last post featuring the Brazilian top model working it out for PONY, generated some serious views. Since the 21-year-old model is popular with our readers, I thought I’d share his latest ad campaign. Side note: Did you know he welcomed his first child earlier this year? So young to be a daddy. No wonder he’s appearing in so many ads lately. Papa’s gotta pay for them diapers ;)
This time around, Lachowski utilizes his good looks for German label Review. Francisco joins several other models on a road trip-inspired shoot. Who doesn’t love hitting the road? Check him out with his travel buddies sporting washed denim pieces, fitted shirts and printed tees below.
PONY’s Spring/Summer 2013 ad campaign is so adorable, it almost makes me yearn for those all-nighters during my university days. Almost being the operative word. The American brand taps top models Francisco Lachowski and Lenz Von Johnston to show off their latest collection. Photographer Stephen Rose does a great job of capturing the collegiate vibe so perfectly put together by stylist Antonio Branco.
While the intended demographic are guys in their early 20s, some of the pieces, notably the jackets, can be worn by others beyond the demo without looking age inappropriate. There’s nothing worse than being THAT guy of a certain age and still rocking that Abercrombie & Fitch logo proudly. Gross ;) Check out the ad campaign and fashion film below.
Even though Original Penguin’s latest ad campaign has been circulating online for several weeks now, I thought I’d share it. I just love the color palette, prints and styling. It’s all definitely on point for spring and summer 2013.
Photographer Danielle Levitt does a great job of using Nashville, Tennessee’s local haunts to complement the brands threads. The feel of the entire campaign certainly evokes that summer feel. Pictured left to right are models Wendell Lissimore, Dusty Reynolds, Daniel Ness and Chris Colton. Check them out in Original Penguin clothing below.
Parke & Ronen is one of my favorite brands. Their swimwear and shorts are everything- classy, stylish and sophisticated. Thought I’d share the company’s new Spring/Summer 2013 lookbook which features Ford model Travis Cannata. He looks so much better with his short ‘do than he did with his shoulder-length curly locks. I’m a fan of long hair on guys, but a closer cut definitely suits Cannata better. Check him out modeling Parke & Ronen’s looks below, captured by photographer Justin Violini.
Since I caught up with (Justice Joslin), the runner up for my 2012 Man Crush Showdown, earlier this week, I thought it was only fair to do the same for Tomas Skoloudik who place second in the 2012 Model Behavior Showdown.
Calliope tapped the Czech model to front their Spring/Summer 2013 lookbook. Skoloudik looks effortlessly handsome in the photos snapped at a beachfront setting. He especially looks great wearing the yellow striped shirt and even better without it. If you recall, before Tomas became an in-demand fashion model, he did some porn work back in the day. Congrats to him for his successful career change. Check out Tomas’ latest sizzling ad campaign below.
It’s the collaboration that keeps on giving. Jeremy Scott’s partnership with adidas originals began in 2008. His shoe designs became instant iconic bestsellers for the brand. Once again, the American designer creates eye-popping masterpieces. I totally want the totem pole-inspired high-tops. I just hope they don’t get pulled from stores like last season’s high-tops which came with plastic orange ankle cuffs. Civil right groups claimed they were racist since they resemble shackles- a symbol of slavery.
For the Spring/Summer 2013 collection, Scott looked at Native American imagery for inspiration. Several pieces feature heavily printed images of totem poles and eagles. Not everything has this motif however. Plaid is also very well represented. He mixes and matches prints perfectly for a track jacket and pair of sneakers. Speaking of footwear, Jeremy brings back his popular wings for certain styles. Though I would never wear them, the bear camo high-tops are totes adorable. Check them out and the rest of his outlandish and fun collection featuring ANTM judge and male supermodel Rob Evans.
