No joke. In the two minute-long clip, Kellan Lutz utters just one line and it occurs about halfway through. All the dialogue is left for the supporting players to deliver. I’m not sure it bodes well when the title character is practically mute. However, I’m not complaining about all the eye candy Lutz is serving. Dude is looking extremely jacked in the new trailer. If you like 300, Gladiator and Spartacus, I’m sure the Renny Harlin-directed film will be up your alley.
Set in Ancient Greece, Hercules who is born out of wedlock, must choose between following his destiny or his true love, the Princess of Crete (Gaia Weiss). Just one slight problem. She’s been promised to his own brother. Because of his feelings, his stepfather sells him into slavery.Through harrowing battles and gladiator-arena death matches, Hercules embarks on a legendary odyssey to overthrow the King and restore peace to the land. It’s all so Herculean ;)
Hercules: The Legend Begins hits theaters on January 10, 2014. A competing Hercules film directed by Brett Ratner and starring Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson is also due out next year in July. It’s interesting that not much from that film has surfaced online. Things that make you go hmmm. Check out the new trailer below.
How dirty and hot does that sound? A couple of weeks ago, Starz announced it was bringing the Spartacus Saga back to the network. Not with new episodes, but by rehashing the existing ones and airing them uncut. What does that mean? More blood and more sex. I didn’t think that was possible.
From Spartacus: Blood and Sand to Spartacus: War of the Damned, you can now relive all of the Thracian warrior’s adventures in extended episodes. The Spartacus Saga: Uncut airs every Saturday beginning October 26, 2013 with Liam Mcintyre hosting each week. Check out the video promo below.
Side note: Since they are uncut episodes, there should be a drinking game where everyone drinks a shot whenever foreskin is shown ;) How fun would that be?
Last week, I posed the question asking if Kellan Lutz is the sexiest Hercules ever. The response on the site, Twitter, our Facebook page and other social media platforms was a resounding “yes.” Can’t say that I blame all of you. His smoking body definitely makes up for any acting shortcomings he has. In his defense, the Twilight films didn’t exactly allow him to flex his thespian talents. Thankfully, his muscles are the only thing moviegoers want to see flexed when they fork over money for the 3D flick.
In hopes of further distancing Hercules 3D from the other Hercules film in production starring Dwayne Johnson, director Renny Harlin revealed his Lutz-led film is more Gladiator and less fantasy. Based on recently-released movie stills, Harlin’s claims are true. Lutz is serving major Russell Crowe Gladiator realness. Check out the images below.
It was only a matter of time before One Direction release a 3-D concert film of their own. It’s relatively cheap to produce, yet can yield huge revenue at the box office. Gotta suck more money from those rabid teen girls. Simon Cowell can never have too much money ;) Seriously, that man must be super loaded by now.
The British boy band just unveiled the trailer for This Is Us. The three-minute clip has everything you would expect from Liam Payne, Niall Horan, Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson and Zayn Malik. Lots of tomfoolery, hijinks, exploits and touching moments with their fans and family. The scenes between the boys and their loved ones are definitely the highlights.
I have to say, the slickly-edited promo almost makes me want to see it (on home video of course). Check out the first trailer for the Morgan Spurlock-directed film below. If you stay til the end, you get to hear a few seconds of their new single “The Best Song Ever” available on iTunes on July 22. This Is Us hits theaters on August 30.
From Roman history to Greek mythology, Liam McIntyre sure loves keeping it old school. The 31-year-old actor is set to appear in the big budget take on the Greek demigod Hercules. The $70 million film directed by Renny Harlin is set to begin filming May in Bulgaria. Harlin had nothing but kind words for his newest castmember.
“He’s infinitely entertaining to watch. I am lucky to have him play military commander, Sotiris, Hercules’ best friend. Their relationship begins antagonistic and develops into a close bond, forged in battle.” – Renny Harlin
McIntyre joins Kellan Lutz who plays the titular character in the film. This will mark Liam’s first Hollywood feature role. The Aussie has previously appeared in TV series (Spartacus) and short films.
And then there were ten. Now that the preliminary rounds are over, it’s time to kick the 2012 Man Crush Showdown into high gear. Over the next few days, your votes will crown a winner. Who will follow in the footsteps of Scott Herman and Jonathan D. Lovitz who won in 2010 and 2011 respectively.
Check out the lucky recipients of the four wildcards below. Surprisingly, three of them come from Round 1 where the voting was feverish. Since I don’t want to persuade and affect the outcome, I’ll keep to myself the three Man Crushes I’m secretly rooting for. Without further ado, let the sexy games begin.

Like my Model Behavior series, it’s also time to wrap up my other weekly feature, Man Crush. For those who are new readers, this is when I pit my weekly crushes against each other to see who reigns supreme. In 2010, Scott Herman won the title and in 2011 it was Jonathan D. Lovitz who won your hearts. Who will it be this year? Only your votes will determine that.
Once again, the 2012 Man Crush Showdown will be divided into three rounds. Read below to see how the final round will be determined and ultimately the winner crowned. If you’re craving more pictures of each stud, click on their name to check out their original feature with plenty of pics. Without further, let the Man Crush games begin.

Since I wrote about Jon Hamm and Daniel Radcliffe hanging out in a hot tub together earlier today, I felt this was a perfect complement to that post. Director TJ Scott who’s previously worked on Xena: Warrior Princess, Hercules: The Legendary Journeys and pretty much any episodic show filmed in New Zealand, is utilizing his creative eye to raise funds for breast cancer research.
Scott is in the midst of completing a coffee table photo book titled In The Tub with proceeds going to the charity. Given that Spartacus is filmed in New Zealand, a lot of his celebrity subjects are stars from the Starz show. Not to say the photos are exclusive to that drama. Former JAG star David James Elliott and Dallas‘ J.R. Ewing himself (Larry Hagman) are a couple of other stars that pop up in the photo series. Check out a few photos below. Obviously, I limited my choices to the men. We are Homorazzi.com after all ;)
