Hell hath no fury like Donald Trump scorned. Former Miss Pennsylvania Sheena Monnin accused the 2012 Miss USA pageant was rigged. She claimed a fellow contestant allegedly saw a list containing the top five winners before they were officially announced. She resigned from her post and blasted the contest as “fraudulent, lacking in morals, inconsistent and in many ways trashy.”
Not surprisingly, The Donald filed a lawsuit against Monnin claiming defamation. Back in December, an arbitrator ruled in Trump’s favor and ordered the beauty queen to pay the Miss Universe organization $5 million. A figure reportedly lost from potential sponsors due to the allegations.
Monnin filed an appeal but just this week, a US District judge upheld the decision and ordered her to pay an additional $50,000 to cover the organization’s legal fees. OUCH. Not able to pay the debt, the former Miss Pennsylvania is accepting donations on her Facebook page.
Do you think Sheena should pay this much for her allegations? Since he’s rich enough, should Trump forgo receiving the judgement? Should the victory be enough for Donald? Sound off below.
I’m certain the last thing Ciara was expecting while serving it on stage was to get served herself. Believe it or not, that’s exactly what happened.
During an outdoor mini-concert for LA Pride, West Hollywood club Hit Factory attempted to serve Ciara with papers. Allegedly, the club’s owners claim the “Body Party” singer backed out of a scheduled gig on Friday which they had been heavily promoting throughout the week. They are asking to be compensated for the money they spent on promotion as well as the sales that they lost due to the non-appearance.
Ciara’s rep maintains there’s no cause for a lawsuit as a deal was never sealed in the first place between her client and the gay bar since Ciara had already committed to perform at L.A. Gay Pride on Saturday night. The rep also claims The Hit Factory continued to promote Ciara’s supposed appearance in their bar despite being already notified against it early last week.
The Factory admits to having been advised by CiCi’s camp that she wasn’t allowed to perform, but could make an appearance at their event without any problems. I predict this is going to get messy. Hell hath no fury like a gay scorned. LOL. Check out the serving along with Ciara’s performances below.
I should probably say cold milk instead of water considering that’s what people usually dunk their favorite cereal in. When they say breakfast is the most important meal of the day, I’m sure this isn’t what they had in mind. That said, I wouldn’t complain getting my nutritional fill from this ;)
I’ve been chomping at the bit to publish this post for several days now. Patiently I waited til the weekend since I prefer to share our most salacious posts when most of our readers aren’t at work. Trying to keep the site as SFW as possible. It’s hard, but I try my hardest ;) Gay-for-pay porn star Cody Cummings recently changed the title of one of his films from “Breakfast of Champions” to “More than a Mouthful.” Why? Continue reading to find out.
According to TMZ, a guy named Benjamine Bowers who worked at an Abercrombie & Fitch store last year is claiming that the store referred him to a modelling agent who asked him to strip down and masturbate so that he could take more “relaxed” photos.
“Hilburn convinced Benjamine that he needed to display a relaxed look for his modeling portfolio, and the best way of achieving that look was to masturbate in front of the camera, so the photog could capture his expression immediately after orgasm,” TMZ explains about the lawsuit. “And for good measure, Hilburn allegedly told him the drill was to do the whole thing in the buff.”
The sexy model is now suing Abercrombie and Fitch and the photographer, Brian Hilburn for $1 million. The incident allegedly took place one year ago yesterday, on June 17, 2011. I’m interested to see how this turns out and if A&F will be held responsible for any of it. What are your thoughts on this lawsuit? Check out more pics of Bowers below and share your thoughts.
According to a lawsuit by her former manager Michael Sanchez, the answer would be “YES”. Along with making these extremely unflattering comments, Sanchez is suing his former client for breach of contract and seeking more than $1 million in damages. He represented her from 2006 til 2010. Maybe Kelly Killoren Bensimon’s wise words on the RHONY Season 2 reunion show are true after all. Celebrity lawsuits are the new recession vocation. LOL.
While the timing of this lawsuit is suspect considering “So You Think You Can Dance” Season 9 premieres this week, it’s still juicy to read what Murphy allegedly does behind the scenes. Sanchez goes on to insinuate that she engaged in “many inappropriate sexual relationships” with crew members on “Chelsea Lately” and SYTYCD. That bed hopping wasn’t limited to time on set apparently. He claims she had sexual relations with her drug dealer and a married U.S. Naval officer Mary met online. SCANDALOUS.
According to the lawsuit obtained by TMZ, Leighton Meester‘s mom refuses to work and just lives off her daughter, but Leighton felt bad for her younger brother Lex who has severe medical issues. Therefore, the Gossip Girl star was sending her mom a sum of $7500 a month so she could take good care of her brother. Well, apparently things didn’t go as planned.
Turns out, her greedy mother Constance used the money for plastic surgery, hair extensions, and botox. Her mother denies that the money was to be used for her son and says that her and Leighton had an oral contract that requires Leighton to give her $10,000 a month for life. Um, sorry Lady, it’s not the lottery…she’s your daughter. This is your family. Anyway, if you ever watch People’s Court, Judge Marilyn Milian does NOT approve of oral contracts – LOL.
Lady Gaga is being accused of pocketing a bunch of the money from the sale of her “We Pray For Japan” wristbands and a class action suit has been filed against her. An attorney for 1-800-LAW-FIRM named Ari Kresch explained, “I’m suing Lady Gaga simply to hold her accountable for giving the money that she was raising for charity to the cause that she was trying to raise it for.” Fellow attorney Alyson Oliver added, “When you use your celebrity and your power as a musician to take money from people under false pretences, that’s just wrong.”
Mother Monster charged $5 for the wristbands, plus an additional $3.99 for shipping & handling and $0.60 for taxes. The law firm is claiming that she inflated the cost of the wristbands and kept the difference. She also apparently didn’t reveal how much of the $5 goes to the victims, when her website says that all of it goes to the victims.
Born in Toledo, Ohio, Katie Holmes is the youngest of a family of five children and first came to fame when she played “Joey Potter” on Dawson’s Creek. In 2005, the spotlight on her intensified when she started dating Tom Cruise. As a Hollywood A-Lister that became more known for his erratic behavior and his association with Scientology than his movies, it was understandable that everyone was intrigued by this new relationship. Katie started dressing differently – all in black to be specific, and from the outside seemed like she was totally changing as a result of the Cruise and Scientology influence.
Recently, Star Magazine published a story with the headline “Katie Drug Shocker.” Holmes has decided to pursue a libel lawsuit against American Media, Inc. after they did not agree to detract the story at her request. Holmes released the following statement: “Of all the fabricated stories that continue to be published about me, this instance is beyond the pale. The publisher knew this outrageous story was false and printed it anyway to sell magazines.”
On the flip side, American Media, Inc. feels very differently about the situation…
