We’re only a few weeks away before Netflix unleashes the second season of Orange Is The New Black. I fully expect to spend the entire weekend of June 6 binge watching all the episodes. Anyone else with me?

For those who can’t wait for the ladies of Litchfield to return, the online streaming service released some new character posters for some of our favorite inmates. Included in the first batch are Laura Pepron (Alex), Natasha Lyonne (Nicky), Laverne Cox (Sophia), Lea DaLaria (Big Boo) and Yael Stone (Lorna). Check out the artwork below. Orange Is The New Black Season 2 Trailer Released

Be sure to leave June 6 absolutely free. Netflix’s hit show Orange Is The New Black returns for another season of prison hijinks. I fully expect fans of the show to binge watch all 13 episodes of the addictive show in one seating with only minimal bathroom and snack breaks. I wish all shows did this. I hate waiting a week (sometimes more) for a new episode.

Taylor Schilling, Jason Biggs, Laura Prepon, Laverne Cox and Kate Mugrew all return with new addition Lorraine Toussaint as Yvonne “Vee” Parker joining in on the fun. As the trailer states, “This is like next-level crazy…” I can’t wait.

Find out what all your favorite female inmates at Litchfield prison have been up to since last year. Watch the trailer below.

Orange Is The New Black Available Now On Netflix

In: TV Shows

While it doesn’t come with as much fanfare as Arrested Development or House of Cards, Netflix’s new original series Orange Is The New Black is worth giving a shot. Not only is it winning critics over, but the on-demand Internet streaming media provider is so bullish on the dramedy that it ordered a second season even before premiering. That’s almost unheard of.

Orange Is The New Black is the brainchild of Weeds creator Jenji Kohan. It follows Piper Chapman (Taylor Schilling), an upper-middle class bisexual woman who finds herself incarcerated for a crime she committed 10 years prior. It’s actually based on Piper Kerman’s memoir sharing her experiences serving a 14-month sentence in a women’s prison in 2004. While the main character is based on Kerman, the rest of the characters are fictional. Rounding out the cast are Jason Biggs, Kate Mulgrew, Laura Pepron and Natasha Lyonne.

If the trailer above piques your interest, all thirteen episodes of Orange Is The New Black are available online on Netflix beginning Thursday at 12 a.m. PDT.
