I can imagine being a celebrity can be scary at times, with people running up to them when they least expect it or when they’re not supposed to be. Such was the case when a fan tried to approach Lady Gaga in Bucharest, Romania.
In the footage below, Lady Gaga was just coming through the hotel lobby in Bucharest, escorted by two bodyguards and about to greet fans outside. One older gentlemen decided to not follow the rules and rushed in through the other revolving door to try to ensure he gets an autograph from Gaga. Because of the sudden and unauthorized approach, Gaga was quite startled for a moment and the bodyguards quickly, and calmly took the guy down. These guys are good at their job!
The guy wanting the autograph was taken down to the ground, but not seriously injured. Afterward, he got up and went back out the door he came in. Needless to say, there was no autograph for him. Watch the footage below. Also, Gaga’s fancy black & white is fabulous.
After reading the unprofessional letter the VP of PETA wrote to Lady Gaga, I have to say her response was perfection. Like Gaga, I don’t agree with wearing fur, etc. but when they recently accused her of doing just that because of pictures and videos they had seen, they went too far in the what they said to her. I dont’ believe for a second that she wore real fur.
I’ve included both open letters below. In PETA’s, the Senior VP Dan Mathews asks Gaga if she has amnesia because she had in the past said she doesn’t like fur and hates it and they request to know her official stance on the matter. He also says that Gaga is making herself a target like the “mindless Kim Kardashian“. With respect to that, he’s referring to when Kardashian was once flour bombed at a red carpet event for having previously worn fur. When you read his letter, you’ll see how immature it sounds and I feel they should have just contacted Gaga directly if they had questions about what she was wearing, rather than making accusations they can’t backup. Read the back & forth below.
When Lady Gaga does a fragrance commercial, expect it to be outside the box. Mother Monster has just released the trailer (Of course it’s a trailer) for her “Fame” fragrance and it’s pretty freaking incredible.
Directed by Steven Klein, the trailer shows Gaga emerging out of a black tar-like substance then strutting her stuff in an all black outfit, then a naked giant version of herself has people crawling all over her… I don’t even know why I’m bothering to try to explain it. It’s like a dream sequence so it doesn’t make a lot of sense when you try to write it out. It’s better explained if I say it is something that could have been seen in the film ‘The Cell” or in the creepy video you aren’t supposed to watch in ‘The Ring‘… but in a good way.
This fragrance is apparently the first ever Black eau de Parfum. Watch the gagalicious trailer/commercial below.
Scoring the cover of Vogue’s September issue is like winning a gold medal in the fashion Olympics. It’s the issue Anna Wintour and her minions work tirelessly on all year long. Just watch the awesome 2009 documentary titled “The September Issue” to see what is entailed to bring the issue together. This year they must’ve worked even harder since the 2012 issue is a total of 946 pages, -the largest ever for the publication. The 26-year-old singer unveiled the cover on her new social network littlemonsters.com, posting:
“SHH DONT TELL TWITTER/ SEPT ISSUE OF VOGUE MAGAZINE/ Sorry Anna but the underground kids deserve it. bisous!”
Who better to grace the cover of the extra-large issue than larger-than-life pop icon Lady Gaga? This marks the second time she’s landed the cover. The first time occurred in March 2011. With a new album, “ARTPOP“, to promote, Gaga must’ve been elated to score the essential Fall fashion bible for fashionistas everywhere. In the issue, Gaga talks about having sex on beaches, her world tour, launching her perfume, fashion risks and her music.
“I don’t really make records for people to listen to and go, ‘Wow, she’s a genius’. I’d really like you to order a drink, maybe kiss the person you came with that evening or rediscover something about your past that makes you feel even more brave.” – Lady Gaga
This could really help seal the deal on a comeback! Things finally seem to be going write for Lindsay Lohan in terms of her career. Right now she’s got Liz & Dick coming to Lifetime, another film called ‘InAPPropriate Comedy’, and lastly a role in ‘Scary Movie 5‘. Now, she’s got one more big project to top all of this off courtesy of Mother Monster, Lady Gaga.
Lindsay Lohan will allegedly be starring in Lady Gaga’s next music video from a song on her upcoming album ‘ARTPOP‘. A source told E! News, “She will be in Gaga’s video. They’ve become good friends, they talk and text all the time. Gaga really likes Lindsay and Lindsay is really happy to be able to be part of it—she has a genuine respect and admiration for Gaga and her music.”
Elton John truly has not been the biggest fan of Madonna as of late. He’s made that very clear in multiple interviews and even in publicly dissing her Super Bowl halftime performance. It looks like Elton’s opinion hasn’t changed at all especially after checking out clips of her latest MDNA tour. John has some strong words for the music legend. In a recent interview with Molly Meldrum, Elton John exclaims that Madonna’s “career’s over” and even drops the “C” word on her. WOW! Here’s what he had to say about her newest album.
“If Madonna had any common sense she would have made a record like Ray Of Light and stayed away from the dance stuff and just been a great pop singer and make great pop records, which she does brilliantly,” Elton said. “She looks like a fucking fairground stripper.”
In the same interview, Elton poised some serious praise upon pop singers Rihanna, Katy Perry and of course, godmother of his son Zachary, Lady Gaga. Elton goes on to discuss how Madonna has been terrible to Gaga and explains how great Gaga is stating, no matter where she is in the world, she’ll call or text. When she’s around, she’ll come over and bath baby Zachary and sing to him. How adorable is that? Check out the video interview below.
Gaga’s album “Born This Way” only came out a year ago but already, the shocking pop artist is ready to shock our earbuds once again with a new album. With Mother Monster busy touring overseas, she’s been out of sight, out of mind and for me, I am very grateful. I think she became a little overexposed for a while there and very annoying in my opinion. With a new album on the way, will Gaga continue on a path of crazy and shock value, or will she return to her more pop roots. I hope so.
A week ago, Gaga posted a photo on Instagram of her with a new tattoo that reads, “ARTPOP.” Immediately, rumors swirled that this was the title of her fourth studio album. On Twitter yesterday, Gaga confirmed the news: ”Make sure when writing about my new album/project ARTPOP that you CAPITALIZE the title, its all in the details.”
According to Idolator, ARTPOP is expected to drop “before spring” 2013, with the first single due before the end of this year. One of the possible tracks on the LP could be “Princess Die”, a suicide-themed song inspired by the late Princess of Wales that Gaga premiered live back in June during her Born This Way Ball tour stop in Australia. Check out the photo started all the rumors below.
We’ve always known that Lady Gaga was a bit of character, but now, she’s ready to prove just how much to the world. It has been officially announced that Gaga will make her acting debut in the upcoming sequel, “Machete Kills.” News broke after director Robert Rodriguez tweeted the following message:
“I just finished working with @LadyGaga on @MacheteKills, she kicked SO MUCH ASS! Holy Smokes. Blown away!”
Following the tweet, Rodriguez revealed a new poster for the film revealing Gaga as the character of La Chameleón wearing a wolf shall.
