Call me vanilla, but I’d don’t get the whole golden shower fetish thing. To each their own though. With that in mind, you can only imagine my reaction to watching Ke$ha’s latest antic on her MTV reality show, Ke$ha: My Crazy Beautiful Life. Beautiful, not so much. Crazy, hellz yeah.
The 26-year-old pees in a bottle while riding in a vehicle. She then proceeds to offer her fellow passengers a whiff. Ummm, thanks but no thanks. Judging by her reaction, it’s a safe bet drinking her own urine won’t become a regular habit despite hearing “it was good for you.” I can only imagine how gnarly her pee tastes like. Watch the whole stunt go down below.
It’s all about collaborations recently. Snoop Lion roped in Miley Cyrus for “Ashtrays & Heartbreaks.” Then Cyrus sang on will.i.am’s “Fall Down.” Now will.i.am is helping out Ke$ha with her third single from Warrior. Can we expect a Ke$ha and Snoop Lion collabo soon?
As with many artists who made splashy debuts, Ke$ha is suffering the dreaded sophomore slump. Her first album, Animal, sold about 1.4 million units domestically. So far, Warrior has only moved just a bit over 200,000. The lead single, “Die Young” did relatively well but then was pulled from radio stations after the Newtown shootings. The follow up single “C’Mon” only peaked at No. 27 which isn’t bad for most, but all of the 26-year-old singer’s singles have charted in Billboard’s Hot 100 Top 10. I’m sure her record label had a hand in bringing will.i.am on the reworked track. But does he elevate the single or bring it down? Check it out below. “Crazy Kids” will hit U.S. radio on April 29.

Ke$ha‘s new “Woohoo” track has just leaked in full online and we’ve got it for you to check out below. It’s definitely one to put you in the mood for partying (if you aren’t already doing so) and it’s bound to be a hit. The “Woohoo” is a sample of the original from by Blur’s original song, with the “Woohoo” done by frontman Damon Albarn.
In the chorus, Ke$ha sings, “Party people / Woohoo / If you’re ready to throw down / Woohoo / Like we never been allowed / Woohoo / If you just don’t give a f— / Woohoo / Throw ‘em up / Woohoo / Throw ‘em up / Woohoo / Everybody throw ‘em up / Woohoo.” In another part, Ke$ha is her usual funny and dirty self as she says, “Ladies are to be seen not heard / Cook and clean, not use our words / If you think I’m too absurd / Suck my d— while I flip the bird.”
Listen to the song below and share your thoughts on what you think in the comments. I’m definitely digging the track.

March 1 (today) is Justin Bieber’s birthday and he was photographed shirtless heading to his hotel room after performing in Birmingham, England. I gotta hand to the Pisces guy – he has been working hard at the gym because his body is looking good. This is/was his 19th birthday and is said to have been planning a circus-themed birthday party.
I have to confess I’m hyperaware of which celebrities have their birthdays today because it is also my birthday. Thirty-two years ago I was born in a hospital and the following day, my parents who had arranged to adopt me came and picked me up… so now I like to celebrate the 2nd as well.
Anyway, check out which other celebrities in addition to Justin Bieber are celebrating their birthdays today. One of them came out with a new album a few months ago and the other guys are just hot. Oh, and Bieber’s shirtless photo is after the jump too.

Ke$ha has had a pretty incredible ride in her career thus far and certainly has made her mark and stood out from the rest in her own way. Like other pop stars, who she is as an artist extends beyond her music and is part of who she is and how she lives her life. Now, Ke$ha is giving fans a glimse into that life with a new MTV reality docu-series titled, Ke$ha: My Crazy, Beautiful Life.
“You might have heard my voice on the radio, seen me onstage or in a music video, but that’s only part of the story,” Ke$ha says. “With this documentary series I’m revealing a more complete picture of what my life is really like. It’s not all glamorous but it’s all real. I want you to come on a whirlwind journey with an all-access pass to My Crazy Beautiful Life.”

After the Sandy Hook shootings, Ke$ha’s “Die Young” was pulled from several radio stations across the US. This forced the 25-year-old singer to halt promoting the single and focus on her new track off her sophomore album, Warrior. To ensure there’s no controversy with the “C’mon” music video, Ke dollar sign ha headed back to her comfort zone- party trash pop.
The new visual starts off with Ke$ha working at a diner wearing pigtails and Daisy Dukes. For some reason, she decides to quit and soon hops into a van which is inexplicably adorned with a large tail. An 8-track is then inserted into a console and all hippie mayhem ensues. Ke$ha then goofs around with life-sized stuffed animals including a white rabbit which I’m not sure is supposed to reference Alice In Wonderland.
With her animal friends in tow, she trashes a convenience store and the diner where she worked at. Not sure what the deeper meaning to all of this is, but since it’s Ke$ha I’m sure there is none. Check out the newly-released clip below which is a little trippy, ridiculous and kinda fun.

Not surprisingly, in light of the tragic Sandy Hook shootings in Newtown, Connecticut, Foster The People’s “Pumped Up Kicks”, has been dropped by radio stations. Given its lyrics, “All the other kids with the pumped up kicks / You better run, better run, outrun my gun … better run faster than my bullet,” it’s the sensitive thing to do.
Also receiving a ‘no play’ status at several stations, especially in the regions nearby the shootings, is Ke$ha’s “Die Young.” Even though it’s a pop dance track about seizing the day, some might misinterpret the title as being inappropriate, reveal a few radio spokespeople. Surprisingly, David Guetta’s “Titanium” with its “bulletproof” line is also getting the axe. I guess you can probably add La Roux’s “Bulletproof” to that list.
On the flip side, several songs have seen an increase in airplay since the tragedy. Eric Clapton’s “Tears in Heaven,” Bette Midler’s “Wind Beneath My Wings” and Whitney Houston’s “Greatest Love of All,” have all received more requests than normal, according to the Hollywood Reporter. Sound bites featuring words from President Obama’s speech on Sunday night set to the music of Lifehouse’s “Aftermath” and White Lion’s “When The Children Cry” have played on WDAQ in Danbury, Connecticut.
Speaking of commemorative recordings, did you see last night’s moving tribute on The Voice. The show’s judges and contestants performed Leonard Cohen’s “Hallelujah” while holding cards with names of those who perished from the brutal shootings. Though relatively short, the performance was beyond powerful. Christina Aguilera’s solo was EVERYTHING. I go tingles and shed a couple of tears. When X-Tina utilizes her voice, nothing even comes close. Check out the performance below.

This week’s X Factor results episode was brought to you by Sony X Headphones. As if the Pepsi sponsorship wasn’t in your face enough, Simon Cowell is now pimping out Sony products. He even forced asked the Top 6 to praise the superior quality of the headphones which apparently he had a hand in their development evolution. Yay, right. That said, they do look pretty sexy and I want a pair. Simon, I expect my pair in the mail before Christmas.
On deck as filler for the episode were reigning X Factor champion Melanie Amaro and trash-pop innovator Ke$ha. I have to give Amaro credit. She really sold “Long Distance” with her live performance. I enjoyed it much more this time than the first time I heard it. Girlfriend was working that long side blond pony like her rent was due. To be honest, it is due. Melanie needs a hit stat. Otherwise, she might find herself back in Sunrise, Florida working on that island accent of hers *wink*.
Ke$ha performed “C’mon” from her Warrior album. Accompanying her were a quartet of crop-wearing male dancers wearing tiger heads. God love Ke$ha. Personally, I like “Die Young” better, but I’m sure “C’mon” will grow on me as with many of her songs. Note to production: They might want to check the pedestal Ke$ha was performing on for STDs. Girl was writhing on it like nobody’s business. I’m sure a drop or two of her juices leaked out. LOL. As expected, glittered confetti came fluttering down midway through her number. Without further ado, let’s get to the eliminations.
