With a love life as tumultuous as Liz Taylor, it’s difficult to figure out who Jennifer Lopez is referencing on “First Love.” Could it be her infamous liaisons with Puff Daddy or Ben Affleck? Perhaps it’s one of her three former husbands, Ojani Noa, Cris Judd or Marc Anthony or her current boy toy Casper Smart. Maybe it’s a combination of all of them. Whoever it is, it serves as the perfect inspiration for her new single.

“First Love” comes from hit producer Max Martin and is the official follow up to “I Luh Ya Papi.” It’s a major step up from its predecessor. Martin has delivered another winner. The music video was filmed in Los Angeles last week and features Puerto Rican model Elvis Rivera. Give the catchy song a listen below.

The 25th annual GLAAD Media Awards were held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Los Angeles Saturday night. Among those honored include Orange Is The New Black actress Laverne Cox, HBO mini-series Behind The Candelabra, moving documentary Bridegroom and Jennifer Lopez.

The American Idol judge was honored with this year’s Vanguard Award, presented to her by Rita Moreno. She received it for her efforts to increase visibility and understanding of the LGBT community through entertainment.

The Fosters, which she executive produces for ABC Family, won Best Drama Series. The show follows the lives of the titular Foster family, consisting of an interracial lesbian couple raising a blended family of biological, adopted and foster children. During her acceptance speech, she talked about her cool aunt who happened to be gay. Watch her speech below.

Pitbull and Jennifer Lopez teaming up has become a yearly tradition. Since 2011 the duo have released a collaboration. First came “On The Floor” in 2011 and then “Dance Again” and “Live It Up” the following years. Their 2014 offering finds them enlisting a third in Claudia Leitte.

The three get their Brazilian on for “We Are One (Ole Ola).” The track is the Official 2014 FIFA World Cup Song! It’s the lead cut off the World Cup’s album, One Love, One Rhythm. Mr. Worldwide along with J. Lo and Leitte will perform the song live during the opening ceremony of the World Cup on June 12 in Sao Paulo, Brazil.

“We Are One (Ole Ola)” is their weakest collab yet (IMHO) but an upgrade from Shakira‘s 2010 World Cup track, “Waka Waka.” Give them both a listen below and weigh in afterward.

I’m a little behind watching American Idol, ergo no recaps this week. However, I managed to sneak a peek at Jennifer Lopez’s performance on the results show.

I really didn’t want to like it, but I have to say “I Luh Ya Papi” has really grown on me. Especially that fun yet cheesy dance move that corresponds with the hook where J. Lo shakes her head. If you have no idea what I’m talking about, you’ll see Harry Connick Jr. do it in the clip below.

I also have to commend Lopez for bringing back former contestants Allison Iraheta, Pia Toscano and Jessica Sanchez to perform with her. They all looked fantastic. The three did a little acting before singing a short acapella bit which segued to the American Idol judge’s lip synced performance. Check it out below.

Jennifer Lopez debuted her “I Luh Ya Papi” music video on Thursday night during American Idol. As every respectable social media user knows, it’s #tbt or Throwback Thursdays for all not in the know. Fittingly enough, J. Lo wears a pantsuit very reminiscent of her iconic chest-baring Grammy Versace dress in her new visual. As hot as the 44-year-old singer looks, she doesn’t hold a candle to the stable of chiseled men surrounding her.

Taking a page out of every rapper’s music video, Lopez flips the script and objectifies men for once. Her gal pals come up with the idea when a label rep suggests some pretty lame-ass video concepts during a pitch meeting. While Jennifer parades around in glamorous clothing, scantily-clad men show off their muscular frames. Her friends get in on the action and even grope a few of them. #luckybitches

As nice as the video is to look at, the title of the single still annoys me ;) Check out the sexy clip below which also features French Montana.

Jennifer Lopez Debuts ‘I Luh Ya Papi’

Before we get to the actual single, can we just acknowledge how gorgeous Jennifer Lopez looks on the single artwork. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. I’m almost certain the 44-year-old entertainer found the legendary fountain of youth and is hording all its secrets to herself.

J. Lo premiered her latest single titled “I Luh Ya Papi” on Power 106’s “New at 2″ show with Yesi Ortiz earlier today. Aside from the annoying spelling, the track isn’t half bad. It has this cool breezy vibe that’s perfect for the summer months. The French Montana-assisted track is an official single, unlike “Same Girl” and “Girls” which were simply promo buzz ones. “I Luh Ya Papi” is off her yet-untitled eighth studio album due in stores later this year. Give it a listen below.

I don’t blame him. I wouldn’t mind playing tonsil hockey with Jennifer Lopez myself. Girlfriend is turning 45-years-old this year and looks exactly as she did during her “My Love Don’t Cost A Thing” era, if not better. Clearly, the Bronx beauty found the fountain of youth and is hording it all for herself. #selfishbitch ;)

Even before the music video debuted, Wisin, the lead artist, took backstage to both Lopez and Martin. Now that the accompanying visual has premiered, it’s even more evident that the feature singers steal the show, especially J. Lo. No matter what’s going on around her, your eyes immediately gravitate towards to her. That’s saying a lot given that I’m a gay man and Ricky is one hot piece of Latin ass.

There’s really no discernible plot but it’s really pretty to look at. The Thunderdome-like structure where most of the action takes place is fierce. I was half expecting Tina Turner to roll in at some point. Check out the Jessy Terrero-directed clip below.

Earlier this year, Puerto Rican reggaeton duo, Wisin & Yandel, announced a brief separation to work on other projects. Personally, I think they should stick to their winning formula. They’re stronger together than apart. Just look at Outkast and LMFAO as prime examples.

Not sure what Yandel is up to, but Wisin so far is ‘winning‘ in their breakup race. He’s enlisted fellow countrymen Jennifer Lopez and Ricky Martin on a hot new track titled “Adrenalina.” J. Lo previously worked with Wisin on “Follow The Leader.” “Adrenalina” is the lead cut off his second solo album, “El Regreso del Sobreviviente.”

Whether the track crosses over to mainstream radio, I have no doubt it’s going No. 1 on Billboard’s Hot Latin Chart. No disrespect to Wisin, but this track would be so much better with just Martin and Lopez. He actually brings it down IMHO. Don’t take my word for it, give it a listen below.
