CBS bestowed James Corden with a special to celebrate a year hosting The Late Late Night Show. The 37-year-old host certainly didn’t drop the ball with his primetime opportunity. I was thoroughly entertained the entire hour.

The Late Late Show Carpool Karaoke Primetime Special featured memorable moments from his time as host mixed in with some new footage. However, the main attraction was Jennifer Lopez. The American Idol judge rode along with Corden for an all-new Carpool Karaoke segment.

Naturally, they sang duet on her hits including “On The Floor,” “Jenny From The Block,” “Booty” and “Waiting For Tonight.” When J. Lo gave pointers on how to serve face during the latter, I died. It was sooooo good.

The best segment for me though was when James scrolled through all the famous contacts on Lopez’s phone. Demi Lovato, Bradley Cooper, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, Cristiano Ronaldo, Stacy Ferguson a.k.a. Fergie and Iggy Azalea were all there to name a few. When Corden stumbled upon Leondardo DiCaprio’s contact info, he sent him a message. You have to watch the clip to read Leo’s response. Can’t believe he actually replied.

Check out all the fun hijinks below. Even if you watched the special on CBS, the YouTube video contains footage not shown on Tuesday night including J. Lo and Corden coveringLocked Out Of Heaven” by Bruno Mars.

This week, James Corden hosts his first ever primetime special. Naturally, it’s all about his popular Carpool Karaoke segment which consistently provides watercooler moments.

Jennifer Lopez takes her first spin with Corden for the momentous occasion. I can’t wait to hear which of her hits they duet on. In addition to J. Lo’s new segment, James will revisit some of Carpool’s most memorable moments which have included Adele, Justin Bieber, Mariah Carey and Elton John to name a few.

Check out the video promo below which finds the 37-year-old talk show host channeling his inner Macklemore on a reworked “Downtown” featuring new lyrics.

Style, attitude and confidence is what Victoria’s Secret looks for when determining their annual round-up of all things sexy. At least, that’s what they say according to their website.

Earning this year’s Sexiest Actress honor is Kerry Washington. The Scandal actress takes the torch from last year’s winner Rachel McAdams. Meanwhile, Jennifer Lopez snags the Forever Sexy crown from Rihanna who earned the title last year.

To congratulate James Corden for a stellar first year as The Late Late Show host, CBS is giving him a primetime special. With “Carpool Karaoke” generating massive watercooler chatter, the popular segment will get the spotlight.

The show will reportedly feature highlights from the past year and Corden’s favorite moments. In addition, Jennifer Lopez will take a spin with the 37-year-old host for a new segment. I can already see the two belting out “Jenny From The Block.”

“I have loved every minute of hosting The Late Late Show,” Corden said in a statement, which you can tell is clearly true by just looking at how much fun he’s having on a nightly basis. “It’s been an incredible year. I look forward to this hour on primetime to look at some of my favorite moments and share a couple of great new ones. I can’t wait!”

On the heels of this announcement, comes rumors that Late Late Show producers are shopping around a “Carpool Karaoke” series. Please God, don’t let this come to fruition. As they say, this could be too much of a good thing. Don’t you agree? Weigh in below.

The Late Late Show Carpool Karaoke Primetime Special will air on CBS on Tuesday, March 29 at 10pm.

It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to know that Ben Affleck’s new phoenix tattoo is beyond douchey. Jennifer Garner recently weighed in to Vanity Fair about her ex’s new ink.

“You know what we would say in my hometown about that? ‘Bless his heart.’ A phoenix rising from the ashes. Am I the ashes in this scenario?” she said, later adding, “I take umbrage. I refuse to be the ashes.”

The other Jennifer in Affleck’s past also shared her thoughts on his back tat. During J. Lo’s appearance on Watch What Happens Live, the American Idol judge played a round of “Plead The Fifth.” Given that it was her third time playing the game, the 46-year-old superstar should’ve known not to pass on the first question. Really, she couldn’t choose between her Idol colleagues who to Shag, Marry or Kill?

Naturally, Cohen had a couple of scandalous questions for the next two. He asked Lopez about Affleck’s tattoo and why Jennifer was texting during Mariah Carey’s Billboard Music Awards performance. Is there or isn’t there a feud? Check out her response to both questions below.

Jennifer Lopez isn’t leaving television anytime soon. Even though American Idol is signing off, her cop drama has been picked up for a second season. NBC announced Shades of Blue will return next season.

“We want to thank Jennifer, who is the hardest working woman we know, for her incredible efforts as both the star and producer of this show, as well as well as our other amazing producers and cast for all their tireless work in creating one of the most compelling dramas on television today,” NBC’s entertainment president Jennifer Salke said in a statement. “We’re so excited to find out where this story will lead and have them raise the stakes even higher in what we know will be a fantastic second season.”

Despite Shades of Blue dipping to a series low with last night’s episode, the drama has given the network its first time period win (Thursday 10pm) since March 2010 in 18-49 and since March 2008 in total viewers. When DVR playback is factored in, the show averages 11.2 million viewers. Shades of Blue is one of the most time-shifted shows on television.

FOX promises the final season of American Idol will be a season-long celebration. Based on the opening sequence, they’re making good on their word. The intro is a nice blend of nostalgia while looking ahead to crowning the next and last American Idol.

“American Idol changed people’s lives,” says Lopez in the clip. “Not just the contestants. Not just me. But the people watching it because it made them believe that they could do anything.”

As a huge fan of the singing competition during the Simon Cowell era, I’m definitely tuning in and soaking up every minute. I can’t wait for the finale which will undoubtedly feature all the previous judges and previous winners, along with notable past contestants.

The final season of American Idol premieres Wednesday, Jan. 6 at 8 p.m. EST on Fox. Check out the opening sequence below.

In just a month on January 6, American Idol kicks off its 15th and final season. For any fan of the singing competition, especially of the earlier years, definitely tune in one last time. FOX promises the farewell run will be a season-long celebration.

The network begins its goodbye by releasing a mini-documentary. The current judges, Keith Urban, Harry Connick Jr and Jennifer Lopez, are interviewed along with the OG panel of Paula Abdul, Randy Jackson and Simon Cowell, to discuss the show’s highlights and impact on pop culture.

Watching the 20-minute clip, I couldn’t help but be a little nostalgic for the glory days. Used to be obsessed with this show, along with millions. While no longer the powerhouse it was once, you can’t deny American Idol’s accomplishments. It’s churned out plenty of household names who have sold millions of records and earned countless Grammys.

Walk down memory lane by watching the video below. It’s amazing to see how far and successful both Kelly Clarkson and Carrie Underwood have comes since auditioning for the show.
