Brad Pitt who? Vince Vaughn what? Jennifer Aniston‘s got a NEW man in her life and here’s hoping he’s the one! I was always on Team Aniston after Brad hooked up with Homewrecker Jolie. I think Aniston is a gorgeous, classy, and very funny lady (check out the trailer for “Horrible Bosses“) who deserves someone who’ll treat her right. Last fall, she met Justin Theroux while filming the upcoming film, “Wanderlust,” and they’ve been into each other ever since.
According to People magazine, over the weekend, Aniston had a little party and used it as a good opportunity to introduce her new man to some of her close friends (including Courtney Cox and Chelsea Handler). “They all had a great time and enjoyed Justin’s company,” the source told People. The source added that they are “doing great” and that he is “edgier than the guys Jen usually dates. She really likes him!” A source at US Magazine also added, “Jen is totally into him. They have been hanging out for months. She wants to be with him all the time. She’s diving in headfirst.”
UPDATE: Justin Theroux is still apparently dating Heidi Bivens and Ken Baker, chief correspondent from E! News has stated: “I’ve found out from Heidi Bivens’ mom, who apparently would know, that Justin has told her there is nothing going on between him and Jennifer, and that the’re just friends. It’s a big misunderstanding.”
Regardless, check out some pictures of Justin Theroux below…
For ten years, Jennifer Aniston played the lovable Rachel Green on the hit sitcom “Friends“. Everyone either wanted to date her, befriend her or look like her. Remember the Rachel haircut? With her romantic-comedy days coming to a close, Aniston is switching things up. For her upcoming movie, the actress not only dyed her hair chocolate brown, but she plays a super bitch of a boss and also goes topless. That’s right, Jen’s boobies are coming to at theater near you.
Aniston stars in an ensemble dark comedy titled, “Horrible Bosses“. In it she plays one of the three nightmare supervisors along with Colin Farrell and Kevin Spacey. The three of them make everyday work life for Charlie Day, Jason Sudeikis and Jason Bateman, respectively, living torture. So much so, the three contemplate murdering them. In it Aniston plays a devilish horny cougar who sexually harasses her employee. Check out the trailer below.
Jennifer Aniston hopes her latest effort for smartwater turns into a virus, correction, viral. Poor little thing, didn’t know the difference ;) The actress is starring in her first ever internet (PG!) video for the bottled water company. Since it’s her first foray into this type of online marketing, Aniston wanted to ensure it had the makings of the next big internet sensation.
Anything remotely related to viral videos has been incorporated into this smartwater promotion. It’s jam-packed with enough viral video cliches to make her head spin. From dirty dancing computer animated babies, to adorable puppies (like hundreds of them), to internet sensation Keenan Cahill to even a “Friends” Rachel reference. It’s got it all. The clip is also titled “Jennifer Aniston sex tape” to attract all those horny boys looking for a little Aniston T&A. Watch the clip below to see if this viral video novice pulled off her first attempt.
A busy weekend at the box office this weekend, with a few big releases that all did exceptionally well! At number one is “Just Go With It,” starring Jennifer Aniston and Adam Sandler. This film has received A LOT of press, with the two lead actors (namely Aniston) making their interview rounds on all the big talk shows. The extra promo definitely paid off big time, with the film surpassing $30 million in its opening weekend. Remember the flop that was The Tourist? Eat that, Jolie…clearly everyone is Team Aniston.
A close second this weekend was Justin Bieber‘s life story, that has been a dream come true, “Never Say Never” in it’s opening weekend as well. The 3D behind the scenes look at Bieber’s journey to fame nearly broke $30 million as well! I think Tyrell and I are going to go see this one tomorrow.
Two more films opened this weekend…one did well, and one was far behind in fourth. Find out which ones they were below. Did you see any of these new films this weekend? What’d you think?
While other writers on the site occasionally write about Heidi Montag and her cohort, Spencer Pratt, I have tried to shy away from giving them any sort of press. Sure, I sorta found their schtick amusing during Season 3-4 of “The Hills“, but their attitudes and actions have annoyed me to no end the past few years. These two are so hungry for fame and to stay in the news, they often stage things to garner press. From their their fictitious breakup, separation, divorce filing and back to their reconciliation, there isn’t anything Speidi won’t do to grab headlines. These two are seriously ridiculous. Having said that, when I read about this incident, I felt compelled to write about it and rip Heidi a new one.
In a statement, Heidi claims Jennifer Aniston banned her from attending the premiere of their movie, “Just Go With It”, for “being too polarizing”. Montag goes on to tell US Weekly, that she was also prohibited from walking the red carpet as well. Here’s what plastic Hills Barbie also stated:
“I’ve been such a huge Jennifer Aniston fan my entire life and it’s just really upsetting that she would do this to me. She should know how hard it is to make a career for yourself and to have someone like Jennifer Aniston go out of her way to make things hard for me is really disheartening.” – Heidi Montag
Why a network hasn’t picked up “Between Two Ferns with Zach Galifianakis” is beyond me? The comedian’s deadpan talk hosting style cracks me up. If feels like ages since Zach’s last segment on Funny or Die. Thank God, the wait is finally over. On his extremely low budget mock chat fest, he’s interviewed Bruce Willis, Michael Cera, Sean Penn to name a few. The latest celebrities to occupy the seats between his two ferns are ubiquitous MySpace pseudo-celebrity Tila Tequila and everyone’s favorite friend, Jennifer Aniston.
Bringing in two completely two different sides of the celebrity spectrum allows for some awkward on-air banter. It gets even funnier when Zach addresses most of his questions to Tila, practically ignoring Aniston. Eventually Jen gets frustrated and gives Zach a few #$%$# words. Watch the Zach’s latest installment of “Between Two Ferns” below.
Like clockwork, the day before the Academy Award nominations are announced celebrating the best in cinema from the previous year, the Razzies take stage front and center highlighting the worst movies. The annual awards were created in 1980 as a logical antidote to Hollywood’s annual of self-congratulatory awards. The voting members of The Golden Raspberry Award Foundation sifted through all the crappy movies of 2010 and picked the bottom of the barrel to single out.
In a year where Hollywood saw declining attendance numbers, perhaps the Razzies will serve as a wake-up call to studio execs to ease up on remakes, reboots, awful sequels or gratuitous usage of 3D. The number of films that exploited the gimmicky technology was so high, the Razzies created a special category for 2010 specifically for 3D movies.
Leading the packing with 9 nominations a-piece, were repeat offender M. Night Shyamalan and his badly-reviewed “The Last Airbender” and the third installment of the Twilight Saga, “Eclipse”. Other notable movies receiving the dishonor were the much maligned ” Sex and the City 2″ and pretty much anything that starred Jennifer Aniston. The actress was nominated for her turns in “The Bounty Hunter” and “The Switch”. Other thespians receiving worst acting nods include Cher, Ashton Kutcher, Miley Cyrus and the entire casts of “Sex and the City” and “Twilight: Eclipse“.
You can check out the complete list of the 2011 Razzie nominations below. The 31st Razzie Awards will announce the “winners” at Hollywood’s Barnsdall Gallery Theatre on Saturday February 26 at 7:30 PST, the night before the Oscars.
Hollywood is all about making money. In order to do that, studios weigh in a lot of factors. Some of them being which actresses are the most bankable, who’s right for the part or which lady is the current “IT” actress of the moment. For this particular list, Forbes gathered data from their annual Celebrity 100 list to calculate each actress’ estimated earnings for each film. In other words, which actress gave more bang for the buck.
In order to quality for their list, the actress had to have at least three films released within the past five years and opened in at least 500 theaters. That way arty indie flicks don’t bog down the ladies’ averages. So without further adieu, let’s see which actress offers movie studios the best return on their investment.
Return of Investment: $17 per dollar she’s paid.
Coming in fifth place is Carrie Bradshaw’s alter ego, Sarah Jessica Parker. With both SATC movies bringing in boffo business at theaters, those two films alone bring up her average. Parker isn’t always a safe bet though. You need not look any further than “Did You Hear About The Morgans?”. I caught that flick during a flight over the Atlantic. Let’s just say, had I been in a theater, I probably would’ve walked out.
