….someone told me once, and i got offended. See even though I strive to reach active nirvana and be wholly and totally complete with my method of exercise for the rest of my life, I just don’t work like that in any part of my life, let alone this. So even though my snap response was something along the lines of “I could stick to it if i wanted to” *tongue out* *nanner nanner booboo*, deep down and forever since, I’ve realized I have a time period on my exercise regimes.
I just get so bored! I need constant and new stimulation and cause to get out there and get it done. I’m not okay with the half hour treadmill, half hour weights ALL the time. Rewind to my 40 days straight of yoga program completed with flying colours, success, relief, cause for celebration, aaaaaaand I’ve been back how many times since?
But there’s two things through this that I’ve learned. That a) Lo-and-Behold, THIS is okay! It’s not FAILURE to need new stimuli and not stick to the same hobby, to not wanna do the same thing over and over. And b) that cross-training is a crucial part of the industry whether you’re a yoga teacher or a personal trainer or just a Jo Blo like me, and actually works out more positively for your body in the long run, to keep incessantly challenging it.

With the last update of the iPhone (3.0), came a quiet little feature called tethering. What this does is it allows the option to use your existing data plan that you may have with your iPhone and use that to connect your computer to the internet. In essence, it turns your phone into a portable modem. Over the past few months I’ve found this incredibly helpful when I needed to connect my computer and I wasn’t around a WiFi source. Working at the park is increasing becoming an easier reality.

Apple has announced that they’ll be releasing a new iPhone on June 19th! This newer, faster, and even more homolicious version of the iPhone 3G comes almost exactly one year after the drop of the 3G. I guess that, despite our 2/3 year contracts with Rogers / AT&T apple still wants us to upgrade annually :)
So what’s new and improved:
1. Processor and Ram make the “S” 2 times faster than its predecessor. Apparently, the graphics capabilities will be beyond what we’ve seen thus far as well.
2. Built in Video Camera with Auto focus allows you to shoot video right on your phone. (Pictures will be better as well with the new camera!)
3. Now available in 32 Gig version. Read the rest of this entry »
