Last month we received our first look at Beyonce’s collaboration with H&M. Today, the Swedish retailer revealed more visuals from their summer ad campaign. Even Lana Del Rey fans who were upset she was replaced with Bey have to admit, the 31-year-old singer is nothing but fierce in these new visuals. There’s nothing to do but “Bow Down.” Side note: I wonder if it was planned that in every picture, one hand had to be over her head. Every shot has her showing her pits ;)
As with the previously released image, Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin snapped Mrs. Carter on location in the Bahamas. Whether reclining on a beach chair or posing against a colorful wall, she’s modeling from head to toe. Tyra Banks would be so proud. Check out more pics below.

After months of speculation, H&M made it official today. Beyoncé is the company’s new cover girl, replacing singer-songwriter Lana Del Rey who held that position for about a year. Not only is Bey fronting the ad campaign, but she worked on the new collection as well. H&M head designer Ann-Sofie Johansson revealed, “what makes these pieces even more special is that Beyoncé herself had input in the designs, and they are full of her own personal style.” The new collection is tentatively slated to hit stores in the beginning of May.
“I’ve always liked H&M’s focus on fun affordable fashion. I really loved the concept we collaborated on to explore the different emotions of women represented by the four elements — fire, water, earth and wind. It was a beautiful shoot on a tropical island. It felt more like making a video than a commercial.” – Beyonce
Photographers Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin better known as Inez & Vinoodh shot the print and billboard images in the Bahamas. The Swedish retailer unveiled the first image today with Mrs. Carter wearing the “key pieces you need for life in the sun this summer.” The ads will feature the tagline, “Beyonce as Mrs. Carter in H&M.” Obviously an attempt to tie her latest endorsement deal with her upcoming “The Mrs. Carter Show World Tour.” The campaign will also include a commercial directed by Jonas Akerlund and will feature a new track from B titled, “Standing On The Sun.” Check out the first image below.
Kristen Stewart is probably hoping 2013 isn’t as dramatic as it was in 2012. I’m pretty sure the 22-year-old actress can’t take another major cheating scandal. I know Robert Pattinson can’t. If Kristen remotely even strays again, I’m sure he’s outta there. So far, she’s off to a good start. K-Stew graces the spring preview issue of V magazine. She also poses for a fashion editorial titled “The Cult of Kristen Stewart” which was snapped by photographers Inez & Vinoodh.
Kristen can currently be seen in the movie adaptation of Jack Kerouac’s On The Road. Her next project originally had her starring opposite Ben Affleck in the comedy Focus. Recently, Affleck pulled out of the project where he was supposed to play her love interest. I wonder if Jennifer Garner influenced Affleck’s decision. Wouldn’t want another repeat of Affleck’s alleged dalliance with Blake Lively during filming The Town. Right?
With 2012 behind her, Stewart tells V magazine that she’s living life “unafraid” and doesn’t “want to deprive herself of any bit of life.” She tells the publication how she’s changed over the past year and how she plans on using her new-found confidence in her post-Twilight career. Here’s a tiny suggestion. Try to develop another signature look besides her go-to pissed off and bitter one. You know what I’m saying. I actually like K-Stew but she always looks so annoyed to be anywhere. Check out her latest photo shoot below. She looks gorgeous but a smile couldn’t hurt, or at the very least a smize ;)

I honestly thought Lady Gaga released all the fashion films for “You and I” last year. Apparently, I was wrong. The 26-year-old singer still had one left up her sleeve which she finally debuted over the weekend. Given that Gaga is on the September 2012 issue of Vogue, and a new album, ARTPOP, coming out soon, promoting a track from her last album seems silly. The “Bad Romance” singer explained her reason why in a tweet this past weekend, “I’m supporting & sending love to Beyoncé & the UN for WORLD HUMANITARIAN DAY #whd2012″. World humanitarian or shameless self-promotion? You decide.
Once again, the visual was shot by the editorial team of Inez and Vinoodh. This time, however, it features Gaga’s sexy boy toy Taylor Kinney. In the newly-released clip, Gaga and Kinney get married, fake of course. Still, it could be a sign of things to come. The two have been shacking up for a decent amount of time now. Check out the clip below.

Last we saw Kazaky, they were turning it out with Madonna in her “Girl Gone Wild” music video. The Ukrainian group is back and doing what they do best- being fierce in extremely high heels. The super gay One Direction (LOL) appear in a high fashion spread and motion editorial for V Magazine.
Styled by Lady GaGa genius Nicola Formichetta, the guys get even more in touch with their feminine side by wearing flowy dresses with their signature stilettos. Titled, “Kazaky Horror Show“, the clip was filmed by fashion photographers Inez & Vinoodh. Warning. Get ready for plenty of attitude. The boys certainly SERVE it.
Kazaky also recently released a new track on YouTube the other day. “Barcelona” is another one of their sexy tracks that’ll do well on the international pop circuit. I’m sure the track will serve as a soundtrack for all those circuit boys in the bathroom stalls puking or receiving some anonymous blow job. LOL. I kid, but kinda serious ;) Check out “Barcelona” and their V magazine video below.
Everyone’s favorite pop punch line is back. The 25-year-old “Tik Tok” singer poses for a series of patriotic photos for V Magazine’s Americana issue. Snapped by Inez and Vinoodh, Ke$ha sports USA flag-inspired wardrobe and makeup for the publication’s June 2012 issue.
For the accompanying interview, Ke dollar sign ha talks about her upcoming album. Knowing her music reaches millions of people, she felt the new album should have a positive message instead of the drunken partying attitude of her debut. The underlying theme for the new album is “warrior“. If you’re worried she’s going to the extreme and tone it down completely, don’t be. Ke$ha says, “it’s not going to be some avant-garde jazz record. I innately write pop songs. That’s just what I do.” Read a few other memorable quotes from her interview with V Magazine below.
“When paparazzi showed up at my house, it was really mind-boggling. I’ve found ways to do exactly what I want, but in the privacy of my own sanctuaries. I have wild, wild nights [in the woods], but my friends and I are all really private. We get f–king crazy, but you’re not going to see me stumbling out of nightclubs.”
Lady Gaga is definitely all about short fashion films these days. First there was her five-part series directed by Inez and Vinoodh. Those black and white clips featured Gaga’s different personas seen in her “You and I” music video. Even though, the new fashion clip is under the creative direction of Nicola Formichetti and directed once again by Inez and Vinoodh, the new visual isn’t part of that series. Instead it’s for her good friend, designer Thierry Mugler.
The French designer showed the clip during his fashion show at Paris Fashion Week. It shows Gaga wearing colorful pigtails and some jacked-up teeth. Her new grill is something some hip hop rappers would die to have, given that there’s some serious bling in the form of encrusted diamonds.
This isn’t the first time Gaga has collaborated with Mugler. The singer strutted down his last fashion show in sky-high platforms, all while smoking a cigarette. While the new clip was met with positive reviews, Thierry’s latest designs were not. Perhaps if Gaga had been there in person, this new collection would’ve received better reviews. Check out the short clip below.

Lady Gaga just released her latest video from her five-part fashion film series. Set to her track “You and I“, Gaga transforms herself into different alter egos for each clip. Already, we’ve seen her as the nymph in the first one and as a robotic mourning bride in the second one. For the third installment she dresses up as Yuyi the mermaid. What can we expect next?
Who is Yuyi? From the looks of it, she’s a chain smoking mermaid who likes to flap her tail while sitting in a wheelchair. As with all the previous alter egos, Yuyi first appeared in the official music video for “You and I“. The remaining two clips will feature other characters. One of which will undoubtedly be her male character Jo Calderone. As with the other previous releases, Swedish photographers Inez and Vinoodh directed the shoot. Check out her latest creation below.
