Don’t ask me why (slow news day?), but this morning I was all of a sudden curious as to what ‘The Hills‘ stars were up to these days. After seeing a recent picture of Stephanie Pratt at the beach and Lauren Conrad talking about her secret to staying in shape, I got to Heidi Montag only to learn that she released a new EP last week called ‘Dreams Come True‘. In the album artwork above, Montag shows off her Hills cleavage in a skimpy outfit. The cover is somewhat similar to the style of her ‘Superficial‘ album.

The “Dreams Come True” (heavily autotuned) EP is selling for $4.99. To be honest, I don’t know who she is expecting to buy her album. After the 25-year old and her husband Spencer became two of the most despised celebrities for a while, got “written out” of ‘The Hills’ early, quit ‘I’m A Celebrity, Get Me Outta Here!,’ and completely cut her mom and sister out of her life, her fan base is bound to be pretty limited. ‘Overdosin isn’t actually a new song, and a super budget video was released for it several years ago. It’s a definite possibility. MTV’s hit “reality” (and I use that word loosely) show, “The Hills” has the potential to become a movie according to one of the stars. Audrina Patridge sat down with an on air interview with Ryan Seacrest and said that there original was plans for a movie, but everyone needed a break after the show ended:

“We were kind of all just so fed up with each other that we all needed a little break. We’ve all had our break. Maybe we’ll all come back together and do a movie.”

I should clarify that this is separate from Lauren Conrad’s “L.A. Candy” being made into a movie. This would be the actual cast from The Hills.

What happens when seven celebrities join forces to open a restaurant? We’ll have to watch this show to find out. The new series stars some of realities biggest celebrities we love to hate, including Heidi Montag, Jake Pavelka, and Danielle Staub. The objective is to become a partner in the Dolce group’s newest restaurant. To win, the cast will have to collaborate on all aspects of the new eatery and successfully open it in 28 days.

The restaurant opening process will cover everything from the renovations to menus to seating and the cast run into several problems along the way, as you’d expect. Broken refrigerators, a failed fire inspection, and budgetary issues. Definitely expect drama with these spoiled brats. There appears to be some food fights and even what looks like a crow bar dual and table flip that takes things to a whole new level. This is one of those shows that I know is complete trash to watch, but I’m going to want to watch it for that exact reason.

“Can seven, famous, over-the-top personalities work together and make it in the culinary world? Or do too many cooks really spoil the broth?” The series premieres on VH1 on Sunday, July 10th at 10:00pm.

You may have seen a recent ad from Virgin Mobile where they manufacture a fake celebrity couple: Spencer Falls + Sarah Caroll = Sparah. Of course desperate for attention, former Hills stars Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag (aka Speidi) went public with their anger that Virgin Mobile would copy their likeness and demanded to be paid.

Virgin Mobile has responded to their criticism in the BEST way possible. Reps for the new spoof celebrity couple “Sparah” told TMZ that they have no time to respond to Spencer’s accusations “due to their pressing endorsement commitments with Virgin Mobile and their frequent interactions with real celebrities.” BURN! Love it.

Chances are you’ve only seen the 30 second spot of this commercial. I’ve included the 60 second version below. My favorite line is from their publicist (Anna Curtis) at the very end of the commercial when Spencer says, “I’m so confused.” She then responds, “See! That right there? That’s a tweet. Tweet that shit.” LOL.

A few weeks ago, I wrote about Heidi Montag, Danielle Staub, and Jake Pavelka being photographed having lunch together (with cameras rolling) at Cafe Med in LA. It was definitely a “WTF?!” situation. Now, it’s been revealed that they were actually filming an episode of an upcoming VH1 reality show called “Famous Food.”

The former “The Hills” star, “RHONJ” star, and “Bachelor” will be joining Three 6 Mafia members DJ Paul, Juicy J, and Ashley Dupre, as well as Vincent Pastore of the “Sopranos,” all working together to open a new restaurant. They’ll be working with LA restauranteurs Mike Malin (“Big Brother”) and Lonnie Moore of The Dolce Group to launch a new LA restaurant called “Famous Food”. That’s a large group of “interesting” people, to say the least.

I’ll give you a second to go to the toilet & throw up…. Okay, you back? Well, it looks like these three reality reject fame whores are combining powers (Captain Planet style) to come up with a new show about their annoying lives. The concept of the show hasn’t come to light yet, but considering they are three of the most despised reality stars and biggest fame whores, I think it may have something to do with that.

This week, Heidi Montag (The Hills, etc.), Danielle Staub (Real Housewives), and Jake Pavelka (The Bachelor) were spotted filming at a restaurant in Los Angeles. They’ve all already done reality and between the three of them, they have sex tapes, nude photos, plastic surgery galore, gay rumors, lawsuits, and have been fired and tried to become pop stars. What more could they possibly have to offer?

While other writers on the site occasionally write about Heidi Montag and her cohort, Spencer Pratt, I have tried to shy away from giving them any sort of press. Sure, I sorta found their schtick amusing during Season 3-4 of “The Hills“, but their attitudes and actions have annoyed me to no end the past few years. These two are so hungry for fame and to stay in the news, they often stage things to garner press. From their their fictitious breakup, separation, divorce filing and back to their reconciliation, there isn’t anything Speidi won’t do to grab headlines. These two are seriously ridiculous. Having said that, when I read about this incident, I felt compelled to write about it and rip Heidi a new one.

In a statement, Heidi claims Jennifer Aniston banned her from attending the premiere of their movie, “Just Go With It”, for “being too polarizing”. Montag goes on to tell US Weekly, that she was also prohibited from walking the red carpet as well. Here’s what plastic Hills Barbie also stated:

“I’ve been such a huge Jennifer Aniston fan my entire life and it’s just really upsetting that she would do this to me. She should know how hard it is to make a career for yourself and to have someone like Jennifer Aniston go out of her way to make things hard for me is really disheartening.” – Heidi Montag

If you have been having Heidi Montag/Pratt withdrawals, have no fear. Heidi may be on your TV screen sooner than you think. With rumors of Camille Grammer and one other not returning to The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Speidi wants in on the opening.

According to sources, Heidi and Spencer met with Bravo execs about the show and the possibility of the couple moving to Beverly Hills. Spencer even said “we would move to Beverly Hills in a heartbeat… We would be psyched if this happened for us.” As much as these two are a nightmare, I think they would be a really interesting mix to the show no?
