The entertainment industry has lost another beloved talent due to cancer. Coincidentally enough, Alan Rickman was 69 at the time of his death, like David Bowie.

Rickman’s death was confirmed on Thursday by his family who said that he died “surrounded by family and friends”. He is survived by his wife, Rima Horton. The pair had been together since 1965 but only married in 2012.

Though best known for playing Professor Snape in the Harry Potter films, Rickman has plenty of other memorable roles. He made a huge splash as Bruce Willis’ adversary, Hans Gruber, in Die Hard. Love him in that movie. Other notable parts include Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves, Love Actually, Sense and Sensibility and Truly, Madly, Deeply.

Potterheads rejoice!!! The first look at the Harry Potter spinoff is finally here. Warner Bros. just released a teaser trailer for Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them and it’s as fantastic as the title suggests. Even if the film is underwhelming, the visuals will undoubtedly dazzle.

The title of the film comes from of one of Harry Potter’s Hogwart’s textbooks. It takes place about 70 years before Harry Potter arrived at Hogwarts, as Newt Scamander (Eddie Redmayne) travels to the United States for a conference and accidentally releases a whole whack of creatures into the unsuspecting world. JK Rowling who had no hand with the previous scripts, makes her screenwriting debut with this film.

Joining Redmayne in the film are Ron Perlman, Carmen Ejogo, Ezra Miller, Jon Voight, Katherine Waterston and Colin Farrell. Warner Bros. unleashes the beasts in November 2016. Watch the clip below.

Just when I thought I’d heard every possible rendition of “Hello,” I stumbled upon this. Apparently, even movie characters like C-3P0, Harry Potter, Dr. Evil, James Bond and more want to jump on the Adele bandwagon.

YouTube user Matthijs Vlot edited together multiple clips from well-known movies to create a cover of the Brit’s smash single. I can’t even imagine how painstaking of a process this was. Bravo to Vlot for having the patience. God knows, I couldn’t have. Check out the cinematic rendition below.

Praise baby Jesus!!! I’ve always wanted to go to the Harry Potter theme park, but if I’m going to fly all that way to Florida, I’m spending my time in Miami. No offense, Orlando 😉 Now, I can take in all things Hogwarts on the West Coast.

Universal Studios Hollywood announced The Wizarding World of Harry Potter is headed to La-la Land. It’s signature ride, the 3-D HD spectacular “Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey,” and other attractions are set to open sometime in Spring 2016. I can’t wait to enjoy some Butterbeer.

I’ll never watch Harry Potter the same way again. The 25-year-old actor who played Neville Longbottom is all grown up and kinda hot. Actor Matthew Lewis poses shirtless and in his underwear for the new issue of Attitude magazine.

While many Potterheads will appreciate the sexy pics, there’s at least one person who isn’t as excited. Author JK Rowling tweeted her thoughts upon stumbling upon his nearly naked photo shoot. Check out their cute Twitter exchange below.

“.@Mattdavelewis Not as bad as watching Dan in Equus, but close. Warn me next time, for God’s sake,” – JK Rowling

“Well, this is awkward. Sorry, Jo… ????” – Matthew Lewis

.@Mattdavelewis I will always support you whatever you want to do, Matthew. Now go put some clothes on.- JK Rowling

As you recall, Radcliffe went completely naked for his role in the stage production of Equus years ago. Like Rowling didn’t enjoy that view 😉 Check out Lewis’ pics below, and his thoughts on his hot makeover.

According to Variety, Eddie Redmayne is on top of the list to play the lead in the Harry Potter spin-off. The events of Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them takes place in New York seven decades before Potter’s story begins.

Redmayne is being eyed to play Newt Scamander in the highly-anticipated film. The character is described as a “magiczoologist.” For all you Potterheads, you know that’s a person who studies magical creatures. Besides Scamander, there are four other main roles — two American girls and two American boys.
