It was all about Leonardo DiCaprio at the 73rd Golden Globe Awards. Not just because he won Best Actor Drama or that his film The Revenant slayed the competition. Instead, it was all of his candid moments that got the Internet buzzing.

When Lady Gaga walked towards the stage to accept her Golden Globe, she accidentally bumped into DiCaprio’s chair. His slightly shady reaction was priceless. Naturally, memes popped up immediately. The 41-year-old actor explained his reaction to Entertainment Tonight. Find out below.

Leo also drove the Twitterverse into a frenzy when Kate Winslet and he hugged before a commercial break. The Titanic reunion made millions ecstatic, including Jane Fonda. Check out the hilarious moment below.

When Brie Larson accepted her Golden Globe for Best Performance by an Actress in a Motion Picture – Drama, the camera briefly showed the father of her Room on-screen son, Jacob Tremblay. All it took was a split second for millions to lust after this DILF. I suppose when you’re that hot, that’s all it takes.

Not much is known about Jacob’s sexy dad, including his first name. All we do know so far is that he’s a police detective for the Vancouver Police department. Since I live in Vancity, I’m half-tempted to commit a crime in hopes of getting handcuffed by this studly creature.

Check out pics of Mr. Tremblay below. Hopefully some shirtless pics soon surface online.

As always, the 2016 Golden Globes were a star-studded affair. The Hollywood Foreign Press Association sure love their celebrities. They’re definitely the biggest star f*ckers around ;)Naturally, the organization set up a photobooth to take pics of all the big names in attendance.

Famed photographer duo Inez & Vinoodh snapped stunning black and white photographs of all those who appeared on the stage- both winners and presenters alike. Check out below some of my favorite images of Lady Gaga, Taraji P. Henson and Jennifer Lawrence to name a few.

Heading into the 73rd Golden Globe Awards, Carol lead the pack with five nominations. Sadly, the 50s-set lesbian love story walked away empty-handed, failing to win in any of the categories it was nominated for. The Big Short was also shut out, not able to convert any of its four nods into wins.

The news was quite different for The Revenant. The grizzly drama won three of the four awards it was up for including Best Picture Drama and Best Actor for Leonardo Dicaprio. The Martian also did quite well, taking home two statues.

Over on the television front, Mr. Robot was the sole multiple winner with two- Best Television Series Drama and Best Supporting Performance in a Series for Christian Slater. Lady Gaga beat out Kirsten Dunst for Best Performance in a Miniseries. Check out all the winners below.

The Hollywood Foreign Press Association loves big names and this year is no exception. That’s why they love to split up the competition into drama and comedy categories- more attendees.

The nominations for the 73rd Golden Globes is a star-studded list of who’s who in Hollywood. Matt Damon, Jennifer Lawrence, Will Smith, Amy Schumer and Kate Winslet are just a few who were recognized.

Todd Haynes’ Carol leads the pack on the film side with five nominations. Cate Blanchett faces off against her co-star Rooney Mara for Best Actress in a drama. The film also snagged Best Original Score, Best Director and Best Film Drama nods.

Receiving four nominations were The Revenant, The Big Short and Steve Jobs. Spotlight which has been a strong player this awards season scored a Best Film Drama nom but none of its cast received solo nominations.

On the television side, American Crime, Fargo, Mr. Robot, Outlander, Transparent and Wolf Hall scored the most nominations with 3 apiece. The biggest story here is that for the first time ever Netflix is top dog, beating out HBO who typically is showered with the most nominations.

Lady Gaga scored an acting nomination for her role in American Horror Story: Hotel. In another surprising twist, Jamie Lee Curtis and Rob Lowe earned nods for Scream Queens and The Grinder respectively.

The 73rd Golden Globes air on NBC on Jan 10, 2016. Ricky Gervais returns after a three-year hiatus to host the event. Check out all the nominations below.

71st-golden-globes-nominations

It’s no surprise that 12 Years a Slave and American Hustle led the way with seven nominations each when the 71st annual Golden Globes nominations were announced this morning. Both have done well with all the critics awards leading up to today’s announcement, especially the former. The latter’s cast were showered with praises, earning a nod in every acting comedy category.

What was surprising, if not shocking, was one notable snub. The Hollywood Foreign Press Association are notorious star f**kers. They have a long history of nominating substandard performances in hopes of filling up the ballroom with famous people. However this year, lesser known names made the cut while arguably one of the most famous, if not powerful, person got completely shunned. Oprah Winfrey, my dear… you don’t get a nod! You don’t get a nod! In fact, no one from the star-studded Lee Daniels’ The Butler, including the film itself was nominated. The film was not only a box office hit but a critical favorite as well.

The silver lining is that there is absolutely no crossover with the HFPA voters and the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences. However, it’s still nice to be nominated given the show is widely seen and offers a great opportunity for those in the race to do some hardcore publicity and campaigning. With regards to the HFPA, I’d still be worried if I was one of the 90-something GG voters. We all know how long Winfrey likes to hold a grudge. Just go ask David Letterman.

Check out all the nominations below. Tina Fey and Amy Poehler will host the Golden Globe Awards on Sunday, Jan. 12, 2014. I have high hopes they’ll deliver another winning performance.
