For all those in need of a Bachelor fix, here’s a little something something to tide you over until Juan Pablo’s season premiering on Monday, January 6. Funny or Die enlisted recently-married Jesse Tyler Ferguson to front their parody of the long-running dating show. He plays faux gay bachelor trial attorney Bryden.
As you would expect, it’s wall-to-wall gayness coming from all directions. From George Takei channeling his inner Chris Harrison as host, to Lance Bass as one of the contestants looking for love, brace yourself for one homosexual rollercoaster ride. You haven’t seen a rose ceremony as dramatic as this before. Check out Bryden’s adventures below which includes the show’s signature limousine crying fits which is usually only reserved for rejects.
No one can ever take the place of my beloved Kerry Washington as Olivia Pope, but if there was anyone I’ll allow, it’s Jennifer Hudson. She may not be nearly as believable as the political fixer, but it’s entertaining to see her play the Scandal role for a Funny or Die spoof. Watch the Dreamgirls actress discuss Obamacare in the clip below.
Even though both Chris Brown and Miley Cyrus recently topped a survey naming them as the worst celebrity role models, it appears some parents are angrier with Samuel L. Jackson. At least they are in this Funny or Die clip.
Apparently, if Jackson is in a film, you probably shouldn’t let little ones watch them. His roles in Shaft, Unbreakable, Jungle Fever and several more films have inspired children to behave badly and quote age-inappropriate dialogue. Watch parents yell, “F*ck you, Samuel L. Jackson!” in the video below.
People who have been single for a long time often get a lot of slack from friends and family members about it. In this new vide by Funny or Die, several singles talk about these problems but give you hope in saying that “It Gets Better“.
In the video, the singles explain that name calling is one of things they have to deal with. Some of them include: “Third Wheel,” “Slut Butt,” “Lake Flacid,” and “Weird F*cking Single Guy“. LOL. But these folks are here to tell you that it does get better and that there are several benefits to being single. Having been single for a little over six months now, I have to agree and 2013 has been one of the best years of my life… but that’s a whole separate article.
Enjoy the hilarious video below and remember single people, “It Gets Better”.
I’m sure when David Burtka got the call to appear in Funny or Die’s latest clip, he jumped at the chance. Who would turn down an opportunity to lock lips with a newly-single Cheyenne Jackson? I’m sure making out with Jackson was a nice change of pace from Neil Patrick Harris’ lips.
Burtka and Jackson star in FOD’s “The Gay Christian Mingle.” The spoof pokes fun at closeted Jesus-loving folks looking for their soul mate on ChristianMingle.com. With no male seeking male options on the dating site, the resourceful David finds a way to cheat the system. He then stumbles upon Cheyenne’s profile which features his love for the 3 Gs- God, glamor and gals. Yeah, right!!! Watch the two, along with other same-sex couples finding love below.
If you ever receive an invite to John Legend’s home, first of all… you lucky bitch. Secondly, you should probably be warned that dude loves to do everything naked.
Whether he’s working hard on his next album (Love In Future), watching television or taking a nap, the 34-year-old R&B singer loves to be au naturel. In between all these “tasks,” Legend likes to freshen up by taking numerous showers a day. His water bill must be insane. Check out his Funny or Die clip below. Best part of it is when he singes his dick while making mac and cheese. Yummy… regarding to both ;)
I recently came across this hilarious series called “Lady Time” on Funny Or Die and I just had to share it with you. Their first video was actually uploaded quite a long time ago, but they’ve just come out with a follow up that totally made me laugh out loud.
The newest video is called “Lady Time – Bad Boys Edition” and it has this group of women enjoying some cocktails outside at a country club and they get to discussing how they have a thing for bad boys. One of the women starts talking about how she got burgled recently and now is super into the burglar himself.
Watch the hilarious video below. Actress Betsy Sodaro (pictured above left) definitely steals the show for me. Enjoy!
How much gayness can you put into one clip? Apparently quite a bit. Somehow Funny or Die was able to wrangle up every hilarious gay YouTube star for their Downton Abbey music video spoof. If you’re one of those who don’t understand the fascination with the slow-paced British period drama, you’ll definitely appreciate this clip titled “Snore.”
Using Madonna’s iconic hit “Vogue” as the beat, Willam, Drew Droege from those hilarious Chloe impersonation videos, Vicky Vox, Michelle Visage, Jonny McGovern and others swap out the lyrics to reference everything Abbey related. From its Christmas specials, multiple deaths and so forth, you’ll find it all in the clip.
If Madonna’s hit doesn’t turn your crank perhaps The Real McCoy’s “Another Night” will. A few bars of that dance classic are used in the bridge. Check out the latest FOD clip below which also features Mr. Neil Patrick Harris aka David Burtka and Stephen Guarino (EastSiders) to name a few. Enjoy.
