The fact that Mariah Carey is in the kitchen, let alone attempting to cook, is funny enough. Like she’s whipped up anything culinary in the past decade. If I had her money, I know I’d have a nutritionist and private chef at my beck and call.
The 45-year-old diva shows Funny or Die writer Byran Safi how to make a Frito pie for her faux cooking show. Why that you ask? It’s inspired by the line, “Boy, you actin’ so corny like Fritos,” on her new track “Infinity.”
The sound of it already sounds disgusting. When you see that the ingredients include Fritos (naturally), olive oil, lettuce, sangria, M&Ms and more, you’ll be reaching for a barf bag immediately.
Check out the Funny or Die tutorial below which features cameos by Brett Ratner and Jeff Beacher. My favorite part is watching Mimi fixing her hair while cooking. She’s mastered that trick, no doubt ;)
Earlier this week, a video featuring Dennis Quaid freaking out on-set went viral. Many believed the leaked footage was legit.
Who can blame them. Years ago, a similarly-themed clip featuring Christian Bale hit online. Others thought though that Jimmy Kimmel was behind it as a prank for his late night show. As it turns out, the freakout wasn’t real but a sketch for Funny or Die.
The website finally reveals the truth behind the infamous on-set meltdown. The clip begins with a roundup of the media’s coverage of Quaid’s freakout before the sketch. Check out the actual clip below and see the 61-year-old’s tirade in context.
Whenever James Van Der Beek appears in a Funny or Die clip you’re guaranteed comedic gold. Who could forget his “DILF Khakis” and “Asshole For Hire” sketches? His latest one is equally as memorable and quite timely.
The 38-year-old actor teams up with Anna Camp to poke fun at Indiana’s new religious freedom law. The two are hosts on a shopping network. Things get pretty uncomfortable when LGBT callers attempt to purchase the set of porcelain plates Van Der Beek and Camp are hawking.
Anna slays it as a conservative religious homophobe. Her comment about Utah cracked me up. Definitely give it a view below.
The worlds of many teenage girls as they knew it crumbled earlier this week when Zayn Malik announced his departure from One Direction. Devastated by the news, they took to social media to express their outrage and broken hearts.
Funny or Die decided to capitalize on the situation by enlisting Billy Zane for their latest spoof. For those youngins who don’t know who Billy is, he’s that bad guy from Titanic ;)
The 49-year-old actor mistakenly thinks all the tweets are directed towards him. “I just way to say to my adoring and mysteriously heartbroken fans, you light up my world like nobody else. You don’t know you’re beautiful, and that is what makes you beautiful.” He jokingly adds, “I don’t want to be nitpicky, but just for the sake of record, it’s Z-A-N-E, not Z-A-Y-N.”
Check out the amusing clip below which features Zane also reciting a few “My Heart Will Go On” lyrics.
2016 GOP presidential hopeful Ben Carson, who’s an anti-gay extremist, recently shared his thoughts that homosexuality is a choice. What’s his proof? The retired neurosurgeon pointed to straight men who go to prison and once released ‘choose’ to be gay. Clearly, very scientific… NOT!!!
Naturally, Funny or Die decided to poke fun at Carson’s ridiculous theory. They hit the streets of New York City to ask gay people when they decided to be gay. Naturally, you can imagine some of the responses. One hilariously blames Will & Grace. Check out the satirical clip below.
Adorable puppies and a shirtless Scott Eastwood. Sign me up!!!
You thought those crazy women on The Bachelor were vicious. They have nothing on these bitches. These canines have their
claws paws out.
On the next season of The Bachelor, Eastwood tries to find a new best friend. Naturally, the 28-year-old shows off his toned physique in the process. Which adorable dog gets a rose, or should I say bone? Maybe it’s a cat instead. Shocking twist anyone? Watch the Funny or Die clip below.
For all those in need of a Bachelor fix, here’s a little something something to tide you over until Juan Pablo’s season premiering on Monday, January 6. Funny or Die enlisted recently-married Jesse Tyler Ferguson to front their parody of the long-running dating show. He plays faux gay bachelor trial attorney Bryden.
As you would expect, it’s wall-to-wall gayness coming from all directions. From George Takei channeling his inner Chris Harrison as host, to Lance Bass as one of the contestants looking for love, brace yourself for one homosexual rollercoaster ride. You haven’t seen a rose ceremony as dramatic as this before. Check out Bryden’s adventures below which includes the show’s signature limousine crying fits which is usually only reserved for rejects.
No one can ever take the place of my beloved Kerry Washington as Olivia Pope, but if there was anyone I’ll allow, it’s Jennifer Hudson. She may not be nearly as believable as the political fixer, but it’s entertaining to see her play the Scandal role for a Funny or Die spoof. Watch the Dreamgirls actress discuss Obamacare in the clip below.
