Two of the dance floors hottest artists have teamed up to bring you a pulse pounding, ground shaking song to kick start your summer. With the raging beats of Swedish House Mafia and the smooth vocal stylings Taio Cruz, this song is sure to tear up all the clubs this weekend.
The song is a nice change from the two biggest tracks from Swedish House Mafia last year, The One and Miami 2 Ibiza which I felt sounded very similar. This track sounds really fresh and the hook is easy on the ears. The lyrics in the verse are pretty original as well with lines like “I’ll pretend that you’re my dinner, you can be my salt shaker.”
I love a good Taio Cruz vocal and I think that his voice really compliments the Swedish House Mafia sound. This song is going to be an instant hit this summer. I don’t know if it’ll have the same impact that Dynamite and Higher had, but its going to come close.
Alleged girlfriend to Mr. Bieber, Selena Gomez and her band The Scene have released their first single off a new album that is in the works for release this summer. After jamming out to her previous more dance-like tracks the last couple of years with Naturally, Year Without Rain and Round and Round, this new style of song for Who Says is welcome change.
For me, this song lets me know that Selena is growing up, becoming a women and slowing departing from her Disney channel adolescence. It has this nice Adult A/C, easy listen feel and I can definitely see it popping into a movie trailer or soundtrack somewhere this summer. The lyrics of the chorus are great too.
I’m no beauty queen… I’m just beautiful me…
Who says you’re not perfect? Who says you’re not worth it? Who says you’re the only one that’s hurting?
Trust me, that’s the price of beauty. Who says you’re not pretty? Who says you’re not beautiful? Who says.
It’s official. Toni Braxton is back, and better than ever. The “Un-break My Heart” diva, released two new tracks on her website yesterday. Both “Make My Heart” and “Hands Tied” are expected to be included on her forthcoming album, Pulse. Her debut CD from her new record label, Atlantic Records, is expected to hit stores on May 4, 2010.
Braxton wisely unveiled two tracks that couldn’t be anymore different from each other. While the uptempo”Make My Heart” gears to more of a youthful-club-going-crowd, the piano ballad “Hands Tied” looks to reconnect with her adult contemporary fans.
It’s been almost 20 years since Toni first hit the music scene. Though its been probably been photoshopped to death, both her CD single covers look smoking hot. She looks even sexier than when she first debuted with her short cropped hair. Those Beyonce-like hair extensions and wind machine are totally helping her with her sexy-at-40 cougar fabulousness.
