Typically when a magazine shoots a fashion editorial featuring winter coats, one immediately pictures a snowy setting. Not so for photographer Richard Phibbs. The photographer chose a sandy beach to shoot a bevy of male models for DSection magazine.
Featured in the latest issue of the Portuguese publication are Brian Shimansky, Eian Scully, Kenneth Guidroz, Josh Truesdell, Anthony Gallo, Justin Hopwood, Alexey Postseluev, Matt Giesler (pictured above), Oraine Barrett and Matthew Coatsworth. Check out the boys wearing winter coats and not much else below.
As I was searching for related links to include for this post, I realized I’ve never featured Garrett Neff for my Model Behavior series. Shame on me. I’ll definitely rectify that in the near future. In the meantime, I wanted to share this sexy editorial of the 29-year-old model in Da Man magazine.
The publication taps the American stunner as the return of the male supermodel. I don’t blame them. He looks beyond scrumptious whether he’s wearing suits or skimpy white Calvin Klein briefs. Check out the Mitchell Nguyen McCormack-snapped spread below.
Yes, Jacey Elthalion is one sexy beast and he’s wet and shirtless in this fashion spread, but that’s not the primary reason for sharing the Brit’s editorial in GQ China. Instead it’s for the stunning backdrop. One of the international destinations on my bucket list is the Maldives. Ever since a close friend honeymooned there, I’ve wanted to go.
I’m living vicariously through this spread lensed by Nick Leary. I don’t know what’s more breathtaking, the Maldivian clear blue sea or Elthalion wearing designer trunks from Gucci, Louis Vuitton and Dolce & Gabbana. Check out the spread below and weigh in.
On the first season of The City (Hills spinoff), there was denying Adam Senn was a bit of a douche. Definitely wasn’t a fan of him back then. However, since his days on the MTV reality show, he’s actually become one of my favorite models. As they often say, models were meant to be seen and not heard. That definitely applies to Senn. I could look at his rugged handsomeness all day long. Have an intellectual conversation with him, probably not high on my priority list ;)
The 29-year-old American model channels actor Steven McQueen for Man of the World magazine. Snapped by Robbie Fimmano, stylist Sean Spellman does an impeccable job of picking designer pieces from Balmain and Alexander Wang to capture the essence of the iconic American actor. It’s a ruggedly sexy homage to him. Check out more photos below.
Well hello there Miss Jennifer “Elizabeth Taylor” Lopez. The “Live It Up” singer serves some major Liz realness circa Cat On A Hot Tin Roof era for Mario Sorrenti. The famed photographer snapped Lopez for the latest issue of W magazine. The cover debuted a couple of days ago, but the inside editorial have just surfaced. Wearing vintage fur (PETA would so not approve), J.Lo. heads back to her childhood home in the Bronx in glamorous style. Wouldn’t expect anything less from the pop diva.
Inside the accompanying interview, Jennifer reveals she was homeless before getting her big break. She also talks about her relationship with her mom, her own parenting skills and her feelings about returning to the Bronx for the shoot and interview.
“The last time I was in there was when my mom and dad called us home to tell us they were separating after 33 years of marriage. I think that’s why I was nervous about coming here today. It’s like seeing someone from the past—you’re afraid to run into them because you never know if it’s going to be ‘wow’ or very difficult. This is a combination of both.”
“Icon status is an elusive, wild beast.” That’s how Beyonce’s editorial piece begins in the latest issue of Flaunt magazine. The 31-year-old looks as
Sasha fierce as ever. If you watched Bey’s behind-the-scenes footage of her MTV documentary, Year of the 4, you might recognize this Tony Duran-snapped shoot. Not sure why this 2011 African-themed spread is only surfacing now. Whatever the reason, I’m sure Bey’s fans are thankful they’ve finally surfaced.
Check out the photos below, along with quotes from her interview with the publication which includes her thoughts on being a gay icon, criticism for her Pepsi endorsement and what iconic piece of architecture she’d make out in.
“I’m flattered if I’m in the company of those great women. I think they love that we are bold, unafraid to love, and flaunt our sexuality and strength.”
If you’re looking to cool down this hot summer day, I advise staying clear from Adon magazine’s sizzling fashion editorial “Summer of Sex.” You know with a title like that, it’ll do nothing but get you hot and bothered. Photographer Joseph Sinclair snaps Carlos Freire, Zack Hartwanger, Andreas Eriksen and Henry Spurrier modeling the latest in swimsuits, watches and sunglasses. Check out the steamy and wet spread below.
Gotta hand it to Matthew Terry. Months after his heavily-hyped appearance in Calvin Klein’s first Super Bowl commercial, the sexy male model is still booking major editorials. His latest finds him in the June issue of Details Magazine. Photographer Milan Vukmirovic masterfully snaps Terry in a spread titled “White Noise.”
Matthew is his usual handsome self in threads impeccably styled by Matthew Marden including pieces from Paul Smith, Dior Homme, Marc Jacobs, Boss and Diesel to name a few. Check out the images below.
