I think I just died and woke up in gay heaven. As if Kathy Griffin joining Fashion Police wasn’t enough, Brad Goreski’s addition just puts it over the top. I love the celebrity stylist and been a fan of his since his Rachel Zoe Project days. Goreski replaces original co-host George Kotsiopoulos on the panel as the sole male voice.

“I am SO excited to be joining @kathygriffin, @GiulianaRancic and @KellyOsbourne on @e_FashionPolice! Can’t wait to break it all down!!” – Goreski tweeted.

The only downside about this new panel is that the E! show will no longer air on a weekly basis. Rather, it’s slated to only air after special red carpet events such as the Golden Globes, Academy Awards and others. Hopefully, if the ratings are strong, the network and Melissa Rivers decide to increase its frequency.

Speaking of Melissa, she is reportedly stepping behind the camera to join the panel. I’m not sure how I feel about this development, but will reserve full judgement until giving the new format a sample.

“Not only was Joan a trailblazer, she was also a dear friend and mentor to Kathy, who will no doubt continue her legacy and do the series justice by bringing her own unique comedic style and tell-it-like-it-is personality to the host chair,” said Jeff Olde, Executive Vice President, Programming and Development, E!

Are you excited about this new team? Weigh in below. If you don’t follow Goreski on Instagram, be sure to check out some recent shirtless pics. Fingers crossed he busts out his fine hairy chest on the show for a future episode :)

She previously denied reports naming her as the frontrunner to replace Joan Rivers on Fashion Police. In an interview with Access Hollywood, Kathy Griffin is finally fessing up. The 54-year-old comedienne reveals she was indeed offered a spot on the E! show.

“I don’t know if the situation is correct at this time for me or right for me at this time,” Griffin said. “I really hope they continue in the spirit of Joan’s work. She brought a fearlessness and a brand of humor into our homes that we really need.”

“For the last four years this set has been home to the funniest, most outrageous voice in comedy. This chair was a place where a woman spoke the truth about celebrities and fashion and did it in a way that was hilarious and absolutely 100 percent original.”

That’s how Melissa Rivers kicked off the special tribute episode to the late great Joan Rivers. For the next 90 minutes Rivers’ co-hosts Giuliana Rancic, Kelly Osbourne, and George Kotsiopoulos praised their deceased leader, along with sharing their favorite memories.

In between, segments from Joan’s celebrity interviews were included. Just a few of the stars featured were Nicki Minaj, Zendaya, Martha Stewart, Raquel Welch, Howie Mandel, Snooki, Miss Piggy, Nene Leakes, Big Sean, Kevin Hart, Adam Lambert, Red Foo, Kate Walsh, Sarah Silverman and Fergie.

For those wondering about the show’s future, E! announced it’s continuing production with Melissa’s blessing. It returns with new episodes in 2015 with their Golden Globes coverage. No word on if anyone will sit in Joan’s chair. Check out a few clips from the tribute episode below.

2014 Oscars: Who Were The Sharpest Dressed Men?

There’s no denying that the women rule the red carpet during the awards season. It’s all about who they’re wearing and what accessories their respective stylists chose for them. Given all the money and publicity when the right gown meets the right actress generates, it makes sense.

As any self-respecting fashion gay I love checking out what the women wear as well. However, I thought I’d shine the spotlight on a few of last night’s sharpest dressed men. Check out my Top 15 picks of the sexiest studs to don tuxedos at the 86th Academy Awards. Be sure to cast your vote on your favorites afterward.

She’s been behind some of the biggest hits in recent memory. In only makes sense that Bonnie McKee forge a recording career of her own. The 29-year-old singer-songwriter debuted the music video for “American Girl” and enlisted a few of her famous friends to lip sync for their lives.

Naturally, Katy Perry appears in the clip prominently considering McKee co-penned four of her No. 1 hits- “Teenage Dream,” “Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.),” “California Gurls,” and “Part of Me.” Also making a cameo are other artists she’s written for including Adam Lambert (“Chokehold”), Taio Cruz (“Dynamite”), Ke$ha (“C’Mon”) and Carly Rae Jepsen (“Turn Me Up”).

Too bad Britney Spears (“Hold It Against Me”), Kelly Clarkson (“Hello”), Christina Aguilera (“Let There Be Love”) and Rita Ora (“How We Do (Party)” didn’t show up in the video. Oh well, there isn’t a shortage of familiar names “singing” her lyrics. Joan Rivers and her Fashion Police crew, Kathy Griffin, Lance Bass, George Takei, Nicole Scherzinger, Jewel and her hubby Ty Murray, Macklemore and plenty other randoms make an appearance. Check out the clip below.

Here’s a title Rihanna probably never expected, nor wanted for that matter. The Barbadian singer’s “Skrillex” hairstyle has been voted the worst hair trend of the 21st century. She garnered 20% of the vote on the survey conducted by British hair care retailer Fabriah.com.

Personally, I kinda like the whole one side shaved long hair look. It looks great on the “Stay” singer and others including Cassie and Ellie Goulding. I’m not just saying that either because my current look is short all around with long hair on top ;)

“I am not at all surprised the ‘Skrillex’ look claimed the prize as the worst hair trend of the 21st Century. What is surprising, however, is the number of people still copying the style. I would never have imagined the haircut becoming so popular.” – Francesca Davies, a spokeperson for Fabriah.com

Coming in second in the poll was David Beckham’s cornrows with 19% of the vote. I definitely agree with that. It’s not a good look on the soccer player. Other celebrities making the dishonorable list include Justin Timberlake’s blond curly mane from his ‘N Sync days and Scarlett Johansson’s mullet. American Idol judge Nicki Minaj also made the cut for all her various colorful wigs. Check out the entire Top 10 list below.

Hindsight is 20/20 and that couldn’t be more applicable than to fashion choices. There’s nothing worse than looking at old photos and saying WTF was I thinking putting on that heinous thing. It’s even more magnified for celebs because all their fashion missteps are documented on the internet forever. Like US magazine says… stars, they’re just like us ;)

Oscar winner Gwyneth Paltrow recently revealed her worst Oscar red carpet moments. If you have a great memory, I’m pretty sure you can figure out what one of her least flattering looks is. Remember back in 2002 when Gwynnie decided to go all goth on us in Alexander McQueen. The raccoon eyes, side braid and the lack of a bra all came together for a God awful look. Paltrow still maintains she likes the dress, but just wishes she had worn less makeup, simple beachy hair and of course… a bra. Find out what her other fashion faux pas is below. PS. It’s not that Ralph Lauren pink dress she wore when she won her Oscar for Shakespeare In Love.

In terms of prestige and correctly predicting the Oscars, the Screen Actors Guild Awards are one of the most important stops during the long awards season. But regarding fashion, they pale in comparison to the Golden Globes and the big event itself, the Academy Awards. Most starlets and nominees save their big couture guns for those two events. That said, any red carpet during this time is important to win over the public and also perhaps some Academy voters. At the very least, impress fashion designers by showing off your red carpet prowess. That way, you become their first choice at the next huge event.

For my SAGs fashion roundup, I picked my five best and five worst dressed actresses, along with other stars who I was on the fence. Keep in mind that fashion is highly-subjective. As I was researching who designed what dress, I found that sometimes a star would be on a best list and other times on the worst. Fashion is definitely a tricky game to manipulate.
