Today marks the official start to the hectic holiday season. Love this time of year. Being the good little hospitable gay that you are, I’m sure you’re hosting some sort of party in December. Whether it’s an open house, an intimate orphan Christmas dinner or a New Year’s extravaganza, I have a few tasty drink recipes you should give a try. I have a cocktail recipe to suit the tastebuds of any guest you’ll be entertaining.
The EFFEN Toasted White Cranberry and Sauza Cider Hot Toddy are perfect to accompany a lovely holiday feast or fireside conversation. The EFFEN Salted Caramel Chai Sangria brings just the right amount of spice to a traditional sangria cocktail, perfect for cutting that winter chill. Mix up a batch that serves 20 and keep your guests happy all night long! The Orange Truffle Delight is also the perfect accompaniment to any party and a breeze to whip up for multiple people in a flash. Check them all out below.
In a mixing glass, combine all ingredients and shake with ice. Strain into a rocks glass over ice. Garnish with toasted coconut flakes.
If the idea of giving out candy to numerous children or being inundated with firecrackers going off all night makes you want to drink, why not try out one of these tasty concoctions. Our friends over at EFFEN Vodka, Sauza Tequila and Crave Chocolate Liquer whipped up a few deliciously spooky cocktails for this haunting holiday. With that in mind, I reached out to a few of our friends to whip up a few tasty concoctions to share. The 70th Golden Globe Awards broadcast live from the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills tonight and I couldn’t be anymore excited. I’m such a sucker for all the Hollywood revelry, especially this particular one. Due to all the free-flowing alcohol, the Globes are one the most entertaining and unpredictable of them all. Add the hilarious tag team of Tina Fey and Amy Poehler to the mix and it’s guaranteed to be a great time.
Since watching these live events is more fun with friends, I’m having a few people over. To get in the spirit of the Globes, we’ll also partake in enjoying some libations during the ceremony. Our friends at EFFEN Vodka sent over a few Hollywood-themed drink recipes for us to enjoy. Whether you’re watching the Globes solo, hosting a party or skipping the entire thing, definitely sample these tasty cocktails. As always, remember to drink responsibly.
